The "slobbery things" dev-sandbox was released recently, to test the new fluid simulation system in the game!!! It will be added to the public for free once fully implemented and stable.


Features:

- Added post-processing and volumetric dust to the gallery for oculus rift VR users. This greatly increases the overall look of the game in VR. However, this feature still needs some proper testing. So please let me know if the performance hit is to big. In later iteration it will be possible to switch the higher demanding effects on and off in the graphic settings.

- Added the furred raptor model. It is now selectable in the gallery. This new model also has improved genital bits, more anatomical definition on the rear and hinds and improved paw topology. This model also has halloces claws.

Info: The head, claws and hinds of the new raptor model currently have fur which will not be present in future iterations.

Features:

  • Added testicle and teat physics when walking and running in FeralIsland.
  • Added a little easter egg. You can now jiggle the testicles and the teats by clicking in the in the FeralIsland character selection.
  • Added the "slobbery things" dev-sandbox to the game. This sandbox is featuring everything fluid related and will be further improved in the course of the next couple of days.

    Controls: Pretty much like the gallery and the character selection of FeralIsland. You can hover with WASD and rotate with the mouse. VR is currently not supported but I think about adding VR support once the drippy fluid sim for the breeding-device is added. Shift: Lets the felkin sprint. Successfully implemented fluid systems will be added to the core game.
  • It is now possible again to use numeric shortcuts[0 - 5] to navigate through the main menu.
  • Added a "breeding device" preview model to the "slobbery things" dev-sandbox that can be mounted.
  • Added an Alembic fluid simulation to the "slobbery things" dev-sandbox. Baked fluid sims require a lot of storage space. This build is significantly larger.(500MB).
  • Added the mod support framework. This allows adding models, animations, textures in a modular manner. There might be a dev-sandbox soon for the community to test this.
  • Added a new animation to the "slobbery things" dev-sandbox. You can now mount the breeding device with your selected Felkin by pressing shift. You can also hump the device as a female. :3
  • Added animation syncing to the mounting device to prevent the animations of the device offsetting the animation of the mounting creature.
  • Added UI placeholder elements for the new "breeding device" solo male scenario, that is currently tested in the "slobbery things" dev-sandbox, to the gallery.
  • Added procedural, bouncy ears to the player controlled Felkin on FeralIsland.
  • Added excitement control to your selected creature. While exploring FeralIsland you can now excite your selected creature, by pressing the right mouse button. By releasing the right mouse button, the excitement degenerates rapidly. In later iterations this feature with not be so easily controllable, and instead increases in close approximation of other creatures or other triggers.
  • Added excitement control to the character selection menu of FeralIsland.
  • Added some tooltips to the character selection menu to explain the controls. These controls also work in the core game and can be seen as a little character control tutorial. This feature will probably be extended later.
  • Added a bunch of tooltips to the main menu to make it easier to distinguish between VR and non-VR scenes.
  • Added automated chain anchoring to the procedural animation system.
  • Upgraded precision of root motion of procedural tails.
  • Added better NavMesh support.
  • Created new Animator controllers to excite future creatures.
  • Added native Enviro post-processing.


Changes:

  • Changed and improved the walking and sprinting animation slightly to better synergies with the new testicle and teat physics.
  • Removed some minor unnecessary post effects to slightly improve the render time on on the FeralIsland.
  • Updated the weather and lighting system. This only ads some minor HDRP and SRP support tweaks and a different sky in the gallery.
  • Lowered the "glow" of the c*m shader to make it look more natural.
  • Slightly improved the overall mounting animation. The horns are no longer stuck in the neck. Also the overall animation is now smoother.
  • Changed the loading screen of the "slobbery things" dev-sandbox to a more fitting image.
  • Updated and optimized the spine animator script which now should now run 2 times faster.
  • The day and night cycle of the FeralIsland is now 5x longer. However, nights are shorter than days.
  • Slightly increased the excitement rate in the character selection.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed the infuriating "MAXIMUM NUMBER (256) OF SHADER KEYWORDS EXCEEDED" bug in Unity, by converting most shaders tags to local.
  • Fixed an issue with the camera tuning "black" in the gallery.
  • Fixed an NullReference issue with the felkin spawners after selecting a Felkin.
  • Fixed a bug in which the "just a tip" scenario in the gallery had the wrong character animator attached.

I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but do you plan on changing the jump animation or mechanics later? It's a really small thing that I keep on noticing since I'm used to jumping around a lot in games. They're just a little wonky right now.

I have no clue what is going on, but my virus protection goes insane if i try to unzip the file. "Check your scan. A scan is required." Every 5 seconds. What's up with that?

Features:

Patchnotes:

Features:

  • Added a female solo scenario animation to the gallery called "Just the tip", featuring toy play interaction. This scenario includes a total of 3 sexy animations.
  • Added the male felkin to the selection menu of the dev-island. You can now click on the gender button to swap the gender and explore the island as a male beast.
  • Added a sprinting animation to the dev-sandbox. Use shift to sprint while exploring the island.
  • Added two new idle animations to the dev-island. These two animations are a laying and a yawning animation. After some time the felkin will start to yawn when laying on the ground. You can rest as a felkin when you hold ctrl.
  • Added a dexterity bar to the bottom right side of the dev-island UI. The dexterity bar is drained when you run and refreshes automatically when you stop sprinting. (There is currently no negative effect to traveling speed when the bar is drained to not punish testers for exploring the island. But effects will be added in the future when there are more ways to refresh the bar. Lowering dexterity from a creature you want to tame, before you do so will be a very important mechanical layer. :>)
  • Added a first person PoV-Camera mode to the gallery. You can toggle the camera modes by pressing the new camera icon in the header tool bar of the gallery. This feature is also available in VR-mode. Also added multiple new PoV target camera points for the LewdRaptor(old & new), Mystic dragon and the shunamir to the gallery for an immersive first person experience.
  • Added an updated version of the fur shader. This enables some awesome things in the future like for example GPU-Instancing(Not implemented in this version) which will greatly improve rendering time of the creature fur. This version also improves the currently implemented CPU-Instanced version of the fur shells. Giving it overall improvement and increase to FPS in rendering furred creatures.
  • Added an improved volumetric light layer to gallery. (This only works in normal mode, because of performance reasons)
  • Added more QoL and functional features to the PoV camera. Position tracking is now disabled to avoid floating away and UI grab is now always active while in the creature PoV.
  • Added a "Back to main menu" button to the gallery that is only available in VR mode. This allows entering the main menu without using the keyboard.
  • Reworked big parts of the scenario handling to allow dynamic and interactive scenarios in the future.
  • Added a new class to handle multiple creature PoVs for cameras.
  • Added a WIP model of the new updated raptor. It is available in both genders and can be selected in the gallery model view.
  • Added procedural tail and mane animations to the new "just the tip" scenario.
  • Added a function that resets the scenario progression once another scenario is selected.
  • Added fur to the felkin NPCs on the dev-island.
  • Added a label to display the current selected scenario correctly.
  • Added gender signature colors to the scenarios in the gallery.
  • Added a key trigger to VR mode. By pressing left trigger on the vive and right hand trigger(not index trigger) on the Oculus you can now leave Pov mode at any time.
  • Added the same key trigger to leave "the hunt" in VR mode, so you do not need to press the ESC button on the keyboard anymore.


Changes:

  • Further improved the new raptor model in the gallery. The new model now has more anatomic definition around the booty, belly, tail and neck. Also the muzzle is now more detailed.
  • Updated the weights on felkin mane meshs.
  • Improved the walking and turning behavior of the felkin character on the dev-island.
  • Removed a standing idle felkin and updated it with another walking felkin on the dev-island.
  • Updated all rigs of the dev-island to allow more advanced animations in the future.
  • Further improved the walking grounder precision and turning behavior.
  • Decreased the visible sliding of the walk-cycle animation.
  • Lowered the turning speed of the felkin on the dev-island to have a more realistic result.
  • Reduced the metallic gloss of the felkin fur which was way to predominant when the felkin was an area with dark shadows. This look might be added later again to simulate wet fur.
  • Added a slight depth-of-field to the gallery.
  • The sprinting animation of the felkin on the dev-island is now less bouncy.
  • The felkin is now accelerating a bit faster when sprinting.
  • Removed the over-the-top shadow effect on the fur. Making the the creature fur more floofy and smooth.
  • Improved the creature pivot, grounder and turning behavior in the dev-island. This greatly improved the overall realistic feel of procedural walking.
  • Greatly increased the Camera angle when in PoV mode. Now you are able to see more of the surrounding environment and creatures.
  • Moved the UI a bit closer to the player when its grabbed in the gallery.
  • Oculus users have enabled head position tracking when in PoV because the clipping plane is not working properly right now.
  • Structurally renamed the dev-island to FeralIsland and moved it to the core game.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug in which the disclaimer UI could not be selected in VR.
  • Fixed a bug in which the player prefab for steamVR users what not working properly.

Known Issues:

For Oculus users. Currently the clipping plane when in PoV mode in the gallery is not blending out the Felkin head in the gallery as intended. This is happening because the Oculus is forcing the near clipping plane to be exactly 0.01. I will try to look for a workaround for this next. For now Oculus users have enabled head tracking in PoV mode so they can slightly tilt their heads to see what is going on in that mode.

Features

  • Added a female solo scenario animation to the gallery called "Just the tip", featuring toy play interaction, a total of three progressive animations and added all unique Felkin skins to the scenario selection.
  • Added procedural tail and mane animations to the new "just the tip" scenario.
  • Added a WIP teaser model of the new updated raptor. This model is available in both genders and can be selected in the gallery model view.
  • Added haptic rumble feedback to VR mode. A slight rumble was added when you jiggle your feral with your VR controllers. The force of the haptic feedback changes depending of the speed of your controller movements. This value is capped and works with the Oculus, Vive and SteamVR compatible HMDs.
  • Toy rotation is now inherited based on the hand rotation.
  • Added an improved environmental weather system that replaces the lighting and day / night cycles in the gallery.
  • Added a new CreatureData class that takes care of all creature properties in the scene including excitement, selected creature, gender and many more properties.
  • Reworked big parts of the scenario handling to allow dynamic and interactive scenarios in the future.
  • Added a new class to allow new custom body slots to be loaded for unique creatures.
  • Added a function that resets the scenario progression once another scenario is selected.
  • Added a different variety of loading screens to all scenes. Including some loading bars to represent how long it takes until the scene is loaded.
  • Added asynchronous asset loading on scene transition. This should increase scene loading times when the scene was opened loaded before.
  • Added gender colorations to the scenario selection UI to better represent the corresponding genders.

Changes:

  • Updated the text of the disclaimer to better represent the latest additions to the game.
  • Improved gallery turntable controls for hovering and rotation.
  • Increased the factor in which excitement is accumulated when you groom a Felkin. It is now three times quicker.
  • Removed "Analogue stick pressed" from the Oculus rift controller key maps, because this caused some confusion in the gallery.
  • Updated procedural tail and spine physics for a more natural behavior.
  • Animations in the gallery now persist after the gender is changed.
  • Slightly tweaked the way the tails behave in the gallery to have them less wavy.
  • Updated the weights on Felkin mane meshs.


Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug in which toys selected on VR mode where out of vision for Oculus users.
  • Fixed a bug in which colliders for Oculus controllers did not work leading to haptics not working as intended.
  • Fixed a bug in which the scale and position was displayed incorrectly when the UI was grabbed the first time in VR mode for Oculus and Vive users.
  • Fixed a bug in the gallery in which the sheathed penis of a Felkin was a bit "floaty".

- Added a dexterity bar to the bottom right side of the dev-island UI. The dexterity bar is drained when you run and refreshes automatically when you stop sprinting. (There is currently no negative effect to traveling speed when the bar is drained to not punish testers for exploring the island. But effects will be added in the future when there are more ways to refresh the bar. Lowering dexterity from a creature you want to tame, before you do so will be a very important mechanic layer. :>)

Female toy sex is in the nightly_builds. F/M mounting has hight priority at the moment and will come after a milking device rig is added to the game to test how the actual mounting will work out on the island. Public free version has female felkin petting interaction in VR. Stable version now has the island exploration as a female Felkin. More straight, bi and gay stuff is in production I try to keep it as balanced as possible. I keep my patchnotes public for transparancy reasons. So feel free to read them if you want to know what is included in recent public builds. :>

  • The dev-island for FeralIsland was added to the game. The island has a rough size of 4x4 km and can be explored as rainbow and other female felkin. You can walk by pressing W,A,S,D while the camera is following in third person. You can reset the dev-island by pressing R.

    The island currently contains a western forest and a beach biome.
  • Added a new selection screen for the dev-island that allows selecting all female Felkin. (Male Felkin selection is currently only available in nightly_builds but will be added to the next stable build in june).
  • Added Felkin NPCs to the dev-island that automatically walk around on the island. (There is no interaction yet).

  • Added an improved environmental weather system that replaces the lighting and day / night cycles in the gallery, courtyard and the dev-island.
  • Added improved volumetric fog and clouds to the gallery and the hunt dev-sandbox.
  • Toy rotation is now inherited based on the hand rotation.
  • Added improved haptics. The force of the haptic feedback now changes depending of the speed of your controller movements. This value is capped and works with the Oculus, Vive and steamVR HMDs. A slight rumble was added when you jiggle your feral with your VR controllers.
  • Added a new CreatureData class that takes care of all creature properties in the scene including excitement, selected creature, gender and many more properties.
  • Added a lot of "behind the scene" classes and functions that allow creature spawning and building.

  • Improved gallery turntable controls for hovering and rotating to be more smoothly.
  • Improved walking animations.
  • Improved the camera post-processing effects for the dev-island.
  • Lowered the specular highlighting of tree and leaf materials on the dev-island.
  • Better creature ground fitting.
  • Increased the factor in which excitement is accumulated. Its no three times quicker.
  • Removed the "Analogue stick pressed" action from the oculus rift controller key maps, because this caused some confusion in the gallery, leading to the camera jumping around when the analogue stick was accidentally pressed.
  • Updated procedural tail and spine physics for a more natural behavior.
  • Slightly lowered the density of the grass in the dev-island for an overall performance increase.
  • Improved the way the tails behave in the gallery, to let them look more like tails and less like flags.
  • Updated the text of the disclaimer to better represent the latest additions to the game.

Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug in which toys selected on VR mode where out of vision for Oculus users.
  • Fixed a bug in which the scale and position was displayed incorrectly when the UI was grabbed the first time in VR mode for Oculus and Vive users.
  • Fixed a bug in the gallery in which the sheathed penis of a Felkin was a bit "floaty".
  • Fixed a bug in which colliders for Oculus controllers did not work properly, leading to haptics not working as intended.
  • Fixed a bug in which the wrong unique Felkin texture was spawned in the selection.
  • Fixed a bug in which the butt-stretch slider in the gallery was not working properly.
  • Fixed a bug in which the dry humping feature was not working properly when clicked on the toggle button. (Keep in mind your Felkin needs at least 5% excitement to start dry humping)
  • Fixed a bug in which the selected creature was not swapped when loading dev-island.
  • Fixed a bug in which gallery Felkin would not load.
  • Fixed a bug in which the tail and the testicles of a Felkin in the courtyard scene where not attached to the body. Poor floofer.
  • Corrected a typo in the kennels dev-sandbox

Features

  • Added Oculus Rift S and CV1 support to FeralIsland. This updates is bringing the VR interaction for Oculus Rift CV1 and S users close to the level of the latest Vive versions. The following interactive features were added:

    Interact with the UI , Grabbing the UI and to put it in the left hand, selecting toys from the menu and using them, squeezing and jiggling soft physic spots with the pointer.
  • Added a new unique felkin: Say hello to Aldemar by Nhala. :>
  • Added a collision detection for VR controllers. When in VR mode, controllers now can jiggle feral body parts such as thighs, sheath, balls, teats and more. You need to swing the controllers in a slow speed at the parts you want to jiggle to trigger that effect.
  • Added collision detection for Oculus controllers to jiggle thighs, vagina, penis sheath, balls, teats and more.
  • Added overall better collision responses for Vive and Oculus users when petting ferals with hands.
  • Changed the size of the Oculus player camera in the gallery to increase immersion and to bring it to the same level as the Vive and the normal mode camera.

Changes:

  • Improved Brutus' muzzle textures by removing visible seams.
  • Changed the fur loader framework to load the fur shells quicker.
  • Increased the collision detection range for the toy interaction.


Bugfixes:

  • Fixed a bug that was causing the game to crash when the fur shaders where visible.
  • Fixed a bug that did not display the vive controllers properly when the game was loaded the first time.
  • Fixed a bug in which a text field was wrongly displayed in normal mode.
  • Fixed a bug in which moving in the gallery was sometimes behaving in a strange way in VR mode. This was caused by a single wrong equation that added two clamped values instead of multiplying them.

A straight female scenario was added recently to the nightly_builds, and will come to the public versions in the following release cycles. There are many more mating animations and scenarios planned in the future. Also between different species.

Good news: The disclaimer UI works now. Bad News: VR controlls disappears after the disclaimer so you can no longer interact with the main menu screen and there is some rendering issue on the menu buttons (looks like bad reception on old analog TV, grainy and scan lines). Same on both Index VR and Samsung WMR.

Can't click "accept" on the first disclaimer page with Valve index or Samsung Odyssey WMR on version v0.15.080, v0.15.081 or v0.15.082. Copying Feralisland\data\SteamVR.dll from version v0.15.079 to this version fixes the issue.

Trial and error. Looked through which files had changed since version .79 and seemed related to the Index and controlls. Luckily streamvr.dll was one of the earlier files I tried. :)

  • Added a new VR dev sandbox called "the hunt". This female solo demo scene will be released in two parts where you meet Rainbow the female felkin. Once stable enough this scene will be added to the core game.
  • Added Oculus Rift S and CV1 support to FeralIsland. This updates is bringing the VR interaction for Oculus Rift CV1 and S users close to the level of the latest Vive versions. Currently still missing Oculus features: Using the hands to jiggle the soft physics on collision/touching the spots like in the Vive version.

  • Greatly increased the FPS (up to 20 fPS) and improved the visuals in "the hunt" dev sandbox. The lighting setup is also much clearer, I added a lens dirt effect, chromatic aberration, and fine fur. I also rotated the car a bit to display rainbow from her best side. <3
  • Added menu labels to the main menu to better distinguish between dev sand boxes and Unity demos.
  • Added rainbows correct material color in the courtyard dev sandbox.

Valve Index problem: I can't click on "Accept" at the beginning disclaimer. I can point at it and "Accept" highlights but when I pull the trigger nothing happens.
