(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Hello Ms Jessica,

I have been keeping up with your column and had a question I'd like your scientific input on.

Ok, so if we have a female mutant with both a functional penis and vagina (I mention they're functional due to an earlier question regarding aesthetic vaginas), is it possible for her to impregnate herself, and if so is there any affect on the baby (such as will it be a mutant as well)?

Please forgive me if this question is too NSFW and know this is just a hypothetical scenario.

Please email me back.

Thank you.

It’s OK. This question is not too risqué at all. I’ve gotten numerous questions about how mutants urinate and defecate. Sometimes science just goes into areas that are normally considered taboo in causal discussion.

So the short answer is no. Most of the time a mutant with both a functional penis and vagina cannot impregnate herself. Creating a viable fetus requires more than just a viable sperm and egg. They both have to have a certain degree of genetic diversity to successfully combine and become an embryo.

This is one reason why it’s difficult to have babies out of incest. Usually the sex cells are too genetically similar to carry a baby to term. For that matter, intersex people have existed long before mutation as we know it. They sometimes have two sets of genetalia and they too cannot impregnate themselves for the same reason.

However, there have been examples of intersex people and, for that matter, mutants that have impregnated themselves. Have you heard of a human chimera? No, they aren’t the mythical beast with a lion, goat, and serpent head. They are any human being made up of cells from two or more individuals. That is to say, they have two different sets of DNA. Some cells carry one set and some carry another.

Chimeric humans also existed well before mutation as we know it, and chimeric intersex people can, in fact, impregnate themselves. If they produce sperm with one set of chromosomes and eggs with another set of chromosomes, then they can possibly create a viable embryo and carry it to term. This is extremely rare though.

The same goes for mutations. Somehow, the mutant would have to produce sperm and egg with a vastly different set of chromosomes. However, this too is rare. Fusions and conjoinments are the most likely culprits, but they tend to occur due to similarities in genome to begin with. This would, effectively, make it less likely that any two fused individuals, even if they did produce completely different sex cells, could carry a baby to term, specifically because of that similarity.

But science doesn’t deal in absolutes. I am certain there are mutants out there that can produce sperm and eggs significantly different from each other and thus self-impregnate. After all, we have mutants that can secrete all sorts of substances. The idea of creating a sex cell that carries a chromosomal load that is not a direct copy of your own is not that strange. It’s just, as I said before, rare.

In short, if you have two sets of genetalia, go nuts! For the most part, you are safe even if you fool around.

Stay curious!

Let me tell you, I’ve been with a few women in my life. Some are good some are bad, but nothing is better than being with a mutant. They are sweeter, sexier, healthier, funnier, among other things. Human girls just don’t compare.

I met my current girl in a bar, during a party with friends. She’s what you’d call an extreme mutant, level… gah I don’t remember all that science jargon. She was invited, but she might have been the shyest lookin one there.

But boy, she was a knockout. I mean, seriously, she was basically a model. Perfect arms, perfect legs, a perfect figure. She wore this dress that the bar lights shimmered off of, these four matching heels that showed off her dainty feet. She even had a small… I don’t know what you’d call it… like a bracelet on her tail. She was gorgeous.

But she was also lonely. You get a feeling for these things when you’ve been around along I have, a sixth sense so to speak. She laughed and nodded with her friends on the opposite side of the table, but she felt awkward, out of place. She had this look on her face that said “when can I go home?”

I wound up getting to know her better later that love and man, there was this instant connection ya know? Her body was one thing, but her personality? Heh it was even better. She was just so kind and genuine, not like all the other girls you meet in bars.

I learned a bit about why she was so lonely. Her last ex left her after she mutated. Just couldn’t deal with her body. Said she looked like a freak. Ya hear this story all the time, and it’s still bullshit. I mean its 2020 man. Mutants have been around for a while and what are we gonna do, still treat them like it’s the dark ages? I dunno. Fuck that guy, wherever he is.

I don’t wanna bore you with the details, but hey, we hit it off. Couple dates, a movie here or there, a home cooked dinner, and before ya knew it we were a couple. She liked that I didn’t judge her for her body, and I liked that she didn’t try hard to be someone she wasn’t. We were both genuine with each other. That’s what you gotta look for in a girlfriend.

We’ve been together for a year and a half now. We saw each other daily, went on a lot of dates, had the most amazing mind-blowing sex. I’m telling you man, mutant girls fuck like you wouldn’t believe. They have an instinct for it. And everything was goin great…

But then this whole pandemic thing happened and, well, you know the deal. Quarrantines and lockdowns. Kinda gets in the way of budding relationships.

She moved back to her hometown with her parents. Even if it weren’t a three hour drive from me, we couldn’t see each other face to face anyway. Even worse, she’s in the middle of rural bumfuck nowhere. Crappy internet all the way down man. Can’t video call. Can’t even have cybersex like we were horny teens in an AOL chat room. Best we can do is erotic phone calls. They aren’t bad, but it’s not really enough for me.

But she tries. One day she asked me “Breasts or butts?” I always love how direct she is. “I’m a boob guy” I said. Didn’t take her long to send me a selfie of her gorgeous rack.

But ya know, it ain’t breasts or butts that make me nuts about her. It’s… her. The visual aid will help but, really I’d give anything just to be able to hold her again.

Mutant girls man. They’ll change your life. I know my girl changed mine.

Ask Ms. Jessica Issue 16 – SWBs with SWBabys 2020-06-06T02:07:01+00:00close

(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Hello Ms. Jessica, yesterday i saw a group of mutants friends walking by, one of them was a SWB & another was pregnant.

And it made me wonder about 2 things,

1, Where are the organs of an SWB located? Do they still have all the organs of a normal human?

2, Will pregnant mutants give birth to normal humans or mutants?

Two very good questions!

About SWBs, they are what we call a “reduction” mutation. This involves any mutation where more body mass is lost rather than gained. In almost all incidents of reduction mutation, all organs are retained, and the same goes for SWBs. The biggest change, however, is that the organs shrink.

If you were to see an X-Ray of an SWB you would see that they have a much smaller heart, lungs, even digestive tract. You would also see her organs distributed through her thighs, hips, and other locations, though the majority of her vital organs would be protected by her pelvis which would double as a sort of rib cage.

Why doesn’t this cause health complications? Well, an SWB has much less cellular mass than a normal human. Their heart doesn’t have to pump blood as hard to overcome gravity. Their lungs don’t need to take in as much oxygen because there are fewer cells to feed oxygen to. They need to eat less because they don’t require as much energy to fuel cellular metabolism. The smaller the organism, the less work your organs have to do.

Have you ever heard of the Square-Cube law? It states “When an object undergoes a proportional increase in size, its new surface area is proportional to the square of the multiplier and its new volume is proportional to the cube of the multiplier.” So, if something became twice as big, it would have four times the surface area (2 squared) and eight times as much volume (2 cubed.) This means that big animals have to work much, much harder to supply their body with oxygen and energy. It’s why truly massive creatures (Godzilla sized) are so rare.

The thing is, this law applies in reverse too. If you reduce an objects size, you reduce its surface area by the square root of the modifier and it’s volume by the cube root of the modifier. That means while SWBs look only slightly smaller than a normal human, they have VASTLY less mass, which means their organs are far far more efficient.

In fact, scientists believe that this is why SWBs exist at all. Remember that all mutations are an attempt by your body to read a junk DNA code that should be beneficial to you. Any harmful mutations are targeted by the immune system. Well, it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense how losing a good portion of your mass and limbs would be beneficial. But when you think about the efficiency of the body’s internal systems, and how that can vastly expand your lifespan and increase your physical ability, suddenly it becomes more clear.

As for your second question, about mutant babies, it’s a little more complicated. The mutant gene itself is a recessive gene. So two mutants are far more likely to have mutant offspring than two humans. However, it’s theorized that the mutant gene has existed within humanity for a long time and has only started manifesting in modern history. So it’s entirely possible that a human with no mutations has the mutant gene and doesn’t know it. For that matter, it’s entirely possible that two mutants will give birth to a baby with a mutant gene but their genetic machinery never reads any DNA outside normal human boundaries and thus she spends her whole life non-mutated. There are tons of little factors that can determine whether or not someone becomes a mutant, but in general, the more mutant parents you have, the more likely you are to be born a mutant, or mutate later in life.

Sorry one of my answers was longer than the other!

Stay curious!

(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Dear Ms. Jessica -

I've always wondered something about mutants who grow extra limbs, specifically extra arms. How long does it take for a new mutant to learn how to control their new arms? Can they just use them immediately with little to no issues, or do they have to go through some sort of physical therapy before they are able to control them effectively? Do the new arms mimic the movements of the originals at first, or do they act out subconscious impulses that the person might have like the new arms have a "mind of their own"? Does the process of learning to control the new arms become more difficult as the number of arms increases, or would a four armed mutant and an eight armed mutant go through basically the same amount of effort in learning to control their new limbs?

Sorry, that's a lot of questions. But I've always been curious!

Thanks!

As always don’t worry about asking a lot of questions. I covered a lot of this in issue 9, which I believe at this point hasn’t been made public, so I’ll send you a transcript. However, there are a few things worth noting.

First of all, the degree to which mutants can utilize their new mutations varies from mutant to mutant. There is a slight correlation between general fitness and skill at using one’s limbs before a mutation hits. For example, we have found that musicians, chefs, and other people who have greater specified muscle memory with their hands tend to learn how to use new hands and arms quicker. Similarly, dancers and gymnasts tend to adapt to new legs faster.

The general theory is that the more neural pathways you have dedicated to limb use, the easier neural pathways form when you gain new limbs.

There is no correlation between number of limbs and difficulty of adaption, however. We fine that mutants with two new limbs to twenty new limbs seem to learn at the same rate. Once again, the brain mutates along with the body, so there is some pre-existing groundwork to make moving these limbs more natural.

As for the “mind of their own” example, that is actually more of a psychological phenomena than a biological one. Some mutants who gain new limbs struggle with imagining them as a part of their body. In these circumstances these new limbs will operate on reflex and subconscious desires any time they are not actively thinking about moving them. This can be trained away with physical therapy though.

Speaking of physical therapy, you are correct in that some mutants that gain extra limbs have a hard time differentiating them, and tend to move them all at once. A common therapy used to train mutants with new limbs is called “restraint therapy.” It’s pretty simple. Say a mutant has eight arms. Seven of them will be restrained somehow and the mutant will be asked to move the one that isn’t. They do this several times and the restraints are loosened each time, until they are able to move it without moving the rest of their arms. This, of course, is repeated several times over the course of weeks and months until full independent control has been granted to each limb.

Hope all your questions were answered.

Stay curious!

“I already told you, we tried that a long time ago. Don’t you remember?” Ellie said.

Scarlet giggled nervously, flipping through the pages of the humantaur Kamasutra “Look, we have a lot of sex. I can’t remember what positions we’ve tried or not.”

“We don’t have that much sex…” Ellie said. An awkward silence fell on the two. “OK, so yes, we have a lot of sex, but there’s a reason.”

Scarlet laughed to herself “My penis isn’t a good reason you know.”

Ellie rolled her eyes “I’d still be having sex with you even if you didn’t have a penis Scar.” Her tail twitched. “Speaking oooooof.”

“Again? Already? But we just did it 10 minutes ago!”

“Ten minutes too long. I mean come on. I know it feels good to you too.” Ellie ran a finger down her partner’s neck, down to her naked chest. She was lucky. The two humantaurs had nearly the exact same mutations. The only difference was Scar’s penis and elf-like ears. They were practically made for each other.

“Look if we are going to do it again, I get to choose the position” scarlet said still furiously flipping through the book. “Let’s see…”

“How about this one?” Ellie said, putting a finger to a page to stop Scarlet’s furious flapping. “I always wanted to try it. See I highlighted the page and everything.”

“My dick can’t bear that one! It’d be all bent out of shape and…”

“You won’t know it till you try it dear… and I know from first-hand experience that your penis is very, very flexible.” Ellie smiles mischievously, doing her best to convince Scarlet.

With a heavy sigh Scarlet accepted her fate getting into position. She knew she was a pushover. Why fight it? “Are you coming?”

Ellie began maneuvering close to her, intertwining their legs and tails as they tried to mimic the position in the book.

“Stand here, just like that.

“No, get down a little more. Just your back pair of hips.”

“Like this? Here hold my weight.”

“Perfect.. now use your tail to…. Oh yeah that’s it”

Both humantaurs continued barking instructions at each other through heavy moans until they finally got it right. They just felt, in synch, their tails tangled, their bodies carried away by the pleasure.

Ask Ms. Jessica Issue 14 – Mutations happen so fast!

(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Hello again,

Thank you for the prompt response, and the incredibly in-depth explanation of modularity mutations. I’ve done a bit more reading, and after looking at some case studies, there’s a couple questions related to mutants in general I feel I need answered: how do mutations develop, in a more physiological sense? And how can even the biggest mutations emerge so quickly compared to other forms of rapid cell development?

Aha, a question about mutation and cellular development! I actually wrote several papers on the topic while earning my doctorate, so this is a bit of a specialty of mine.

Before I begin, I do want to note something more… sociological. Most mutants actually don’t mutate all at once. They mutate over a period of days, weeks, months, or even years. For the most part, mutations take place under a time-scale that coincides with normal or just slightly accelerated cell development, nothing that would seem out of place for science.

However, you rarely see this type of mutation in the media because spontaneous mutation simply sells a story better.

Think about how many level 3 and 4 mutants you see in the media, mutants whose bodies have changed significantly to the point that their lives have been drastically altered. They might seem rather common, but remember that level 3 and 4 mutations are actually comparatively rare. It’s just that media, for the most part, doesn’t really sell the concept of “MUTANT” by following around girls with a different hair color, an extra finger, a set of fangs, or a longer than usual tongue. They want spectacular stories about mutants that have mutated so far from what humans consider normal that you might mistake them as another species!

Well the same is true for the mutation process. The media likes to cover spontaneous mutation because it breeds drama. Someone being human at one point and then mutant the next makes for a really good story. However, in reality most mutants mutate over a longer period of time, watched over by doctors and loved ones to ease them into the mutant life.

As for how spontaneous mutation actually works, I mentioned in a previous issue that mutations happen in multiple stages of development. First, the body prepares itself internally and then mutations manifest externally. For spontaneous mutations the same is true, but in a more drastic way.

Bodies preparing for spontaneous mutation begin storing massive amounts of nutrients in hyper dense deposits around the body. These deposits usually form around sites where mutation is going to take place. For example, someone who would eventually grow an extra pair of arms might store these deposits around her existing shoulder joints.

Believe it or not, these are actually detectable. That is why we can prepare some people for spontaneous mutation later in life. If you find any strange lumps under the skin, or if you appear to be gaining weight without any real change to your figure, go to the doctor for a thorough examination for signs of mutation.

These hyper dense nutrient deposits are then slowly converted into hyper dense bundles of cell and tissue. They are, for all intents and purposes, a tumor at this point. They are cellular material compacted several times more dense than our normal cellular tissue, in a state of a sort of stasis. They are, for all intents and purposes, undifferentiated STEM cells at this point.

At this point, these cellular deposits are removable but we highly suggest you do not attempt to do so, and it is actually forbidden in several countries by law. Attempting to surgically alter or prevent a mutation usually only results in even more extreme and possibly dangerous mutations occurring.

However, small samples have been taken from these hyper dense deposits safely, and they reveal a lot about how spontaneous mutations works. Essentially there is a protein wall that encases these deposits. This of it as a sort of egg. The “egg” starts with few cells and mostly huge deposits of nutrients and eventually becomes a bundle of cells packed in a small space with few nutrient. Eventually, the egg cracks, and when this happens, a number of enzymes and hormones rush into the blood, triggering the spontaneous mutation.

At that point, these undifferentiated cells spread rapidly and begin taking on their jobs. Remember, these clusters of stem cells are highly densely packed, able to compact all the cells needed for, say, a new arm or leg into a sphere the size of an orange. As they flood the system, they latch onto existing cell and protein networks, forming vital structures, and causing the mutation to manifest.

So in a way, spontaneous mutations don’t actually happen all at once. The cellular development actually happens over a long period of time. It’s just the cell differentiation and outward manifestation that happens all at once.

Note, that when people spontaneously mutate they usually do so all at once, but that’s not always the case. Not all the “eggs” burst at the same time, so to speak. This is why sometimes people experience a series of spontaneous mutations over the course of a short period of time.

The amount of cellular activity caused by a spontaneous mutation can be very dangerous. It’s very taxing on the body, and usually leaves the subject in a state of nutrient depletion and exhaustion. People undergoing spontaneous mutation usually produce high volumes of adrenaline and other natural anesthetics to keep them from feeling too much pain (though this effect is limited depending on how drastic the mutation is) but this too can cause system shock. If you undergo a spontaneous mutation, it’s recommended you get a lot of bed rest and eat plentiful meals for the next few days. Even if you feel like you are a fuck machine that can take on the world, trust me, that’s just the adrenaline talking. You will eventually crash.

There is a type of spontaneous mutation that is still being studied that science doesn’t yet completely understand. Sometimes, people with the mutant gene have been known to mutate in times of severe stress or danger. These spontaneous mutations seem to happen all at once, without the preparation time of other spontaneous mutations.

There are competing theories on how this works. Some scientists believe that mutations like this actually form the same way as other spontaneous mutations, it’s just that stem cell matter is more evenly distributed through the body, waiting to manifest in a way that is needed, rather than focusing all at once in a single location.

Other scientists believe that a massive spike in adrenaline can simply cause vastly accelerated cell growth. We have actually observed as such in humans and animals, so it’s not that much of a leap to think it could also apply to mutants and mutations.

Some scientists believe that the body begins converting all storied nutrients from fat into new body structures. In fact, some even believe that the body sort of “eats itself” and borrows from existing structures to form new ones that would be useful in a time of danger.

Perhaps the most wild theory, which is still very unproven and exists more in the realm of pop science than experimental science, is that mutants in distress will begin converting matter from the world around them into biological matter, which then feeds their mutation. I’m not sure how much I agree with this one. It seems farfetched, and doesn’t really have a basis in biology.

Either way, it’s unethical to put human beings in danger in order to study spontaneous mutations like this, so our knowledge of them is incomplete and likely will be for a while. Frankly, I’d rather have there be a few holes in our knowledge than resort to putting people in danger just for scientific study.

In fact, that’s probably the biggest limiting factor of mutant studies. As far as we have seen, mutations as we know them only manifest in members of the species homo sapiens. We can’t study the biological process of mutation in lab mice or other test animals. We can only study humans, which means mutant studies must always be rigorously examined to be done in a safe and ethical way.

I hope this cleared things up for you!

Priss had just arrived home after yet another visit to the doctor. She barely had the strength to climb into her bed and rest. It had been several days since her legs had started weakening. She could feel, she could move them, but she just couldn’t stay on her feet for a reasonable person of time.

Priss was a cute mutant. Short, 5’2”, four arms, four breasts, a fairly standard mutation all things considered. She had this radiant youth about her, which people noticed well before they noticed her mutation.

But even before that, people noticed Priss’s strange affection for her own body. Priss was diagnosed with the mutant gene at a young age and mutated relatively early in life. Her mother wanted to make sure that she was never ashamed of her body, so she went to great lengths to make Priss feel grateful for it. It sunk in deeply to Priss’s mind… perhaps a little too well. Priss would talk of her body as if it were another person, a friend even. For a while, everyone thought Priss had an imaginary friend, but she had made it clear that she was talking about… well… herself.

She remembered her friends badgering her. “Stop doing that. It’s weird. No one names their own vagina!” She had taken to calling her vagina Millie, but people hated when she talked about her in public.

It was a rough time for her, though. The doctors said her mutant gene was still active and she could likely expect another mutation soon. While she originally was excited, she eventually became scared when her body started to weaken. Would she lose body parts? Lose Millie?

Every night she came home, massaged her legs, even gave her vagina a little pep talk. She didn’t want to lose Millie, not like this. She thought if she just kept working out, kept walking, she could keep her body, keep Millie in good condition. Maybe then she wouldn’t mutate away. But every night her legs, and in fact, her entire lower body felt weaker and weaker.

But this night was different. She laid in bed trying to relax, but pain started to rise through her. She was hot, feverish almost. Her body was shaking. She threw off the covers. Threw off her pajamas but couldn’t get comfortable. She heard cracks coming from her legs. She felt like she was losing them, like they were becoming numb.

“No, NO! I don’t… I don’t want to change. I don’t want to lose my…” She couldn’t finish the sentence. Everything went dark.

The next morning Priss felt like she was hit by a truck. A rush of sensations hit her brain… twice. She felt like she was feeling from two different directions, seeing from two different directions. She looked down, and up, at the same time, and saw herself. She was just a mutant with four arms, now she was twice the mutant with four arms! A “Queen” as it were, a reflection of herself at the waist. Two torsos, seven pairs of breasts, eight arms, and a head at each end.

“OH MY GOD!” both mouths said at once. For a while, they spoke in unison for a while before they both shushed each other. They were a carbon copy of each other, but their thoughts were starting to diverge.

“You… are me” one of the head said. Or at least, she attempted to say it. Instead she just “thought” it and the other seemed to hear.

“Wow are… are you in my head?” the other thought back.

“Are our minds… connected?” came a thought response.

“But who is the original head…” one spoke out loud before cutting herself off. She smacked her lips and spit a bit, feeling a strange taste and moisture in her mouth. “Er… nevermind. I must have been the vagina.”

“Millie?” Priss said with joy. “OH MY GOD YOU ARE MILLIE!”

“Yeah I… I guess so. I mean, I don’t feel like Millie. I feel like you. I have your memories. But if Millie was my, your… our vagina I guess then I…”

Priss cut off her confusion with a passionate kiss. “I love you!” Priss said. “I was so worried I was going to lose you, but now I can talk to you and you can talk back! I love being a mutant! I love this body! I love that we get to be together forever!”

Millie just blushed bashfully “I… I love you too. I… I think we are going to have to make a lot of calls today.”

“Save it for later. Now I want a bit of love.”

Millie giggled to herself “You know… I was thinking the same thing.” She said pouncing on Priss to give her a kiss back.

Ask Ms. Jessica Issue 13 – A world of animals 2020-06-03T00:03:43+00:00close

(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Dear Ms. Jessica,

If all mutants are humans, why are there so many mutants that look like animals?

A good question. The answer to this comes down to, once again, what we use to determine species. Two beings are of the same species if they can create another offspring which can then go on to create offspring with other members of the same species. A snake mutant and a cow mutant can, in fact, have a child which can then go on to have a child with another mutant or even a normal human. Hence, by scientific definition, all humans are mutants.

However, it is clear that many mutants have traits in common with animals, and exactly why isn’t completely known, but we have a lot of working theories that are supported by quite a bit of evidence.

First of all, our junk DNA includes DNA from, quite literally, every phase of our evolution. That means it includes DNA we had when our genetic line was made up of single celled organisms, fish, lizards, small mammals, and so forth.

However, evolution works like a tree. If the roots are the first biological molecules, you can trace one branch out all the way to humanity. Yet birds, snakes, and other animals will be found on other branches, so we shouldn’t have their DNA in ours, right?

Yes and no. We wouldn’t naturally have DNA from other species in our own, but we do have the DNA of every virus and most bacteria that have infected us and our ancestors throughout the eons. In fact, we have RNA and freefloating DNA in our cells as well. These could be from other species, and as long as our pointer genes tell us to read them, then suddenly we may find ourselves with animal traits.

Animal mutants are rarer than most simply because of our built in immune systems. Remember, any mutation that would harm the body would be targeted by the body’s immune system as an invader and, hopefully, fought off before any harm can be done. We are fighting off minor harmful mutations every day. It’s extremely likely that the body will look at a foreign strand of DNA expanding into a full mutation as an invader.

This is why sometimes we categorize certain mutants as “compatible” with certain mutations. What this means, is that they already have a DNA sequence somewhere in their genome that looks similar to another DNA sequence. Someone can, say, by random chance, share 99% of a junk DNA sequence with a vital DNA sequence in a snake. If they then mutated and started reading that sequence, their body would be less likely to look at it as a threat, since it had been in their body since birth to begin with. Once again, this is largely random, or at the very least, based on your parents.

While animal mutants might have biology similar to some animals, cold blooded lizard mutants, spider mutants that can spin webs, so on so forth, genetically they are still human. For example, a normal non mutant human has 46 chromosomes. A dog, on the other hand, has 78. A mutant who appears to be a dog girl still only has 46 chromosomes. It’s just that non-mutated humans are only reading 1% of their genetic information and mutants are reading more, and some of that dog-girls junk DNA in that leftover 99% is similar to some of the vital DNA in the 1% of the 78 chromosomes that a normal dog has.

It’s enough to make your head spin. It’s a lot of numbers and a lot of random chance. It might seem like magic, but remember that everything that we are, and more importantly, everything that literally every other living thing on the planet is, is made up of just four molecules in different patterns. Shift just a few around and you are coding for a completely different being. Humans share about 90 percent of their DNA with mice and cats, 84 percent with dogs, 80 percent with cattle and other hooved animals, 65 percent with chickens, 60 percent with flies and some other insect, and 50 percent with potatoes and bananas. It’s not that hard to believe that these similarities might eventually lead to mutations that mirror our relatives in the animal kingdom.

Or plant kingdom I suppose. I haven’t seen a banana or potato mutant myself, but I am sure they are out there somewhere. I have seen mutants with flowers and vines as part of their anatomy though. Heck, potatoes have the ability to sprout small clones of themselves from their eyes, duplicating parts of even wholes of themselves if subjected to trauma. So maybe all those multi-limb mutants out there were potato mutants all along!

Stay curious!

(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Dear Ms. Jessica,

Is it safe to drink milk or other foods produced by mutant girls?

Good question. For the most part, yes. In fact, it’s also safe to drink the breast milk of non-mutated humans as well. It’s just considered weird in most places of society.

Of course, the same limitations of mutant sourced foods apply to animal sourced foods. If the mutant is sick while producing milk, then the milk might carry disease. Simply put, if you wouldn’t drink milk straight from a cow’s udder, then you probably shouldn’t drink milk straight from a mutant’s breasts. However, through pasteurization and homogenization these foods can be made safe to consume.

I’m also sure there are those of you who have consumed some mutant milk during some bedroom play. Don’t worry, it shouldn’t harm you much. Just don’t make a habit out of it. Don’t, like, use it in daily meals without processing it first.

It is true that some mutants produce relatively safe foodstuffs from their body. In this case, their body is essentially doing the processing that factory machinery usually would. However, it’s really hard to tell if this is the case without a specialized checkup. Not to mention, factories use sterilized equipment to prevent outside contamination, so you should probably do that too if you are regularly eating mutant sourced food.

That being said, mutants can eat their own food without fear of infection. Anything that can be transmitted they already have in their body. However, whether or not they feel comfortable doing so is really a personal choice.

It’s also completely safe to eat mutant sourced food that you might find at your local super market, direct wholesale farm store, or any other regulated vendor. Nearly every national government has standards in play that ensure any mutant sourced foods have been properly processed, decontaminated, and cleared for human consumption.

Not to mention the simple act of boiling or cooking mutant sourced foods should decontaminate most of them.

Finally, I’d like to address a rumor that mutant sourced foods can turn you into a mutant. That is untrue. You either have the mutant gene or you don’t.

What they can do, however, is cause an epigenetic shift in someone who already has the mutant gene, especially if the genetic strains found in the mutant sourced food are similar to the strains found in a potential mutant’s junk DNA. So yes, they can trigger a mutation, but this doesn’t actually count at “turning someone into a mutant.” You either have the mutant gene or you don’t.

That being said, all mutant sourced food that you might purchase at a store is heat processed to denature and unravel the DNA inside it, just like any other food you’d get from any other animal. This means that if your food is processed properly, there is no chance of it causing a random mutation. So just be sure any mutant sourced food comes from a reputable source and you should be fine.

Happy snacking!

Dear Ms. Jessica,

I’m curious about mutants that only have hands. How do they walk? The same goes for mutants without feet? How do they live their lives and do their work?

Well, some mutants have foot/hands or hand/feet that accomplish both tasks at once, but for the ones who don’t, this is actually a fairly simple question to answer.

They manage. There are non-mutant humans out there without hands or without feet that live their lives just fine. Mutants do the same. There are many ways to interact with the world without hands, and there are plenty of ways to get around without feet.

If a mutant has limbs where their feet would be, they can usually use those limbs to walk around somehow, even if they are hands. They might need special footwear, harnesses, or prosthetics, but they will make do. Not to mention, there are wheel chairs and other methods of locomotion that mutants can take advantage of.

And mutants with no hands will usually have some sort of limb that they can grab things with, and if they don’t then they will manage the way other humans do. They will use their feet, prosthetics, or other devices to live their lives.

The only reason mutants can exist in the first place is because the human race is incredibly adaptable. No matter what forms our bodies may take, we find a way to live, thrive, and prosper.

The boy was watching his cousin pack up her suitcase. The quarantine had be lifted and cities were starting to reopen. People were able to move around outside again, and so large family groups were starting to scatter, moving back to their homes.

“I guess you’ll be happy” his mom said. “No more ‘accidents.”

“Yeah! I.. I’m going to be glad she’s gone!” said the boy, faking annoyance. He wasn’t very convincing.

The mother sighed “yeah sure. What am I going to do with you..” she walked back to the kitchen, leaving him to his farewells.

The boy was embarrassed, but he couldn’t blame his mother. He’d put her through so much in these past few days.

He watched his cousin pack her luggage. She didn’t have much. She only planned a short stay before the quarantine hit.

“If I hadn’t been so clumsy” the boy said to himself. “Gah no! Stop thinking about her in that way!”

“You are talking to yourself again…” the girls said, peeking into his room. “Or are you planning something?”

“No! Not at all!” said the boy. “J-just thinking out loud!”

“…sure” said the girl, dragging her luggage out of the guest room.

“I’m… just going to keep my distance. I don’t want anything bad to happen!” the boy said, retreating back into his room. He was doing everything possible to remove the image of his cousin from his mind, Netflix, video games, arguing on the internet, but nothing could get her out of his mind.

“Why can’t I stop thinking about her! She’s pretty but… she probably hates me by now… and she’s so annoying!” He fell back on his bed staring at the ceiling. Despite all the accidents and punishments, he had seen basically every corner of his cousin’s body. He couldn’t help smirk as if he had gotten away with something. “Ugh, I guess I do like her too much” he said to himself, accepting what his mother accepted long ago.

Then, he heard a knock at his door.

“Son, your cousin’s taxi has arrived. Come say goodbye like a good little man.”

The boy went outside with a lump in his throat. He still kind of wished he could spend one more day with his cousin. Maybe he could tell her how he felt.

The taxi had already pulled up to the house and his cousin was loading her luggage. “Well… at least you came to say goodbye” she said in a tone that was both teasing and sad at the same time.

“Y-yeah, I just want to wish you a happy journey… I…”

“I was telling your cousin” his mother said cutting him off. “You’ll be applying to the University of Port Solei next semester.”

“Well, yeah… if I pass” said the boy.

“I know you are a loser but you don’t have to assume you’ll fail..” his cousin said wryly.

“Well, the point is, your aunt has agreed to let you stay in her house if you get in. It would save us a lot of money on room and board, and besides, your cousin is planning to apply to PSU as well.”

The boy was paralyzed. His mother had just told him that he had a chance to liv with his cousin in her own house! He tried desperately to cover up his blush.

“So you’ll be staying in our guest room, as long as you keep your grades up” she laughed. She walked over, gave him a friendly hug, and whispered in his ear “don’t worry. I’ll handle the ‘accidents’ this time.”

The girl giggled, said goodbye to the boy’s mother, and climbed into the taxi. The boy’s face was beat red and hot. He longingly watched the taxis pull away, his cousin waving from the window.

“Now that your cousin is gone, I think it’s OK to lift your punishments. You are no longer grounded. Go play video games if you want.” The boy’s mother said patting him on the shoulder.

The boy looked to his mother and smiled “thanks Mom, but I think I will go study instead.”

Hi again Ms. Jessica,

I have some more questions. Mutants in the “queen conjoinment” configuration… what do they do with their waste? Do they vomit it up?

My readers are strangely obsessed with poop, but once again I’ll take this one on.

All mutants have differing biology, but it’s actually very rare that mutants will have to vomit up their own waste. It’s simply not sanitary and can cause many medical complications. There’s practically no animal in the animal kingdom, even when we look at the simplest, most primitive ones, that vomit up waste. It simply does not work.

Luckily there is a simple answer here. In a previous issue of “Ask Ms. Jessica” I noted that mutants with vagina mouths usually end up “doing their business,” so to speak, through a cloaca, a repurposed opening that expels waste and also acts as an sexual orifice. The same holds true for queen conjoined mutants. Where that cloaca forms is different for each mutant. Sometimes it forms in the center of their back or torso. But all queen conjoined mutants tend to have another opening, somewhere on their body for expelling waste.

Stay curious!

My dear mutants, from tomorrow Patreon is gonna start adding sales tax to some transactions. It depends a lot on where you live, and how Patreon chooses to interpret the content offering . This is a matter of law and there is not much that neither me nor Patreon as a company can do.

I leave you the following link where the most detailed information is. If there is an increase in the pledges, it will not be more than a few pennies according to what PATREON has communicated.

I am trying to have a Patreon page fed almost daily to try and give the best value for the price possible.

I am very grateful to all those who have made an effort to support me during all these months and to those who will continue supporting me in the future. I will do my best to give them back.

Dear Ms. Jessica,

How do mutants get used to new limbs so fast when they just mutated? How are they immediately able to move their new limbs?

Simply put, they can’t. You’ve probably seen depictions of the process of mutation showing subjects falling over and barely able to move? This is because their brain does not have the innate connections needed to move their new limbs.

Now, that’s not to say the brain is completely unprepared. Many times mutations happen in two phases, internal and external. Internal mutations are sort of like a “preparation” mutation. During this stage of development, the old body is sort of a cocoon and new structures start forming inside. The beginnings of new organs, muscle, and bone, are usually what we think of when we describe this stage of mutation, but new brain pathways are also being developed. This is why phantom limb syndrome is sometimes used to predict an upcoming mutation.

By the time the external mutation happens, the brain at the very least has what’s needed to control new organs, usually by duplicating existing neural pathways. Limbs and other mutations, however, usually take a bit longer. On the upside, many of these mutations don’t have to take too long because the subject already has a working neutral pathway for controlling their existing limbs. The biggest issue is differentiating between limbs, which can still take some time.

It’s much different for mutants with more extreme mutations. Wings, snake tails, tentacles, and anything not explicitly human takes much longer to learn how to control. Basically, mutants have to learn how to use them from scratch. Luckily, most governments fund physical therapy facilities that help new mutants learn how to control their bodies. A good bit of physical therapy can greatly shorten the adjustment period and get a mutant back to their normal life.

Of course, this always changes on a case by case basis. Some mutants just take to their mutation faster than others while some require long periods of rehab to get back to life. But then again the same is true for humans. Some of us walk and talk faster than others when we are babies, and some of us can pick up new skills faster than others as adults. But every mutant eventually learns how to use their body, no matter how different it is.

Stay curious!

(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Dear Ms. Jessica,

How does sleep work for mutants with two or more heads. Does the body need all heads to be sleeping for rest. How is it for a two headed-one mind person to fall asleep with just one head, and how does the awake one feel?

Sleep is an interesting subject indeed. It’s so strange that it’s such a major part of our lives and we still don’t understand much about it.

But here’s a short rundown of sleep science. When you sleep you rest not only your body, but your mind. The brain, as an organ, needs sleep to function. Too many hours without a full sleep cycle, and it starts to shut down. The same thing goes for your organs.

The same thing applies for mutants with more than one head too. If they have two brains, then both brains need to have full sleep cycles. Sure, one head can sleep at a time, but if the other keeps using the body, then the body doesn’t get any rest, and soon they would find themselves losing coordination, getting sick, or worse. It’s a neat trick to use at times, but in the end, everyone, all parts of us, need sleep.

The same thing goes for a person with two heads but one mind. One head can fall asleep and leave the body to the other, but that essentially means they are running at half their processing power. Their reactions will be sluggish. Their body will be hard to control. They will feel, in a sense, fatigued. Have you ever felt like your body was heavy and didn’t want to move after a long day at work? That’s because of mental fatigue. They would feel similar. They would get a boost when their other head woke up, but operating on half your mental power is not fun. Once again it’s a neat little trick to sneak in naps here or there, but it can’t replace a full night’s rest.

So no matter who you are out there, no matter how many heads you have, remember that you need 7-9 hours of good, uninterrupted sleep each night to remain functional. That applies to all your heads AND your body. Feel free to split up rest between them as you like, but it’s certainly easiest to keep track of how much you have slept by resting all of yourself at once.

Stay curious!

(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Dear Ms. Jessica,

Yesterday I saw a humantaur. Everytime I see one, I am asking to myself a question I can't answer. Luckily I know someone who may know it... Here is the question: Do they have all organs (or most of them) twice?

Dear Ms. Jessica,

How are humantaurs on the inside? Do they have two sets of organs? Two pairs of lungs? Two digestive systems?

Well it looks like a lot of you want to learn about humantaurs today. For once I can give you a fairly straight answer.

Yes, most human taurs, or taur like mutants in general, have two sets of organs, and here’s why.

All of our organs are designed for the bodies they are in. An elephant heart is bigger than a human heart while a mouse’s heart is much smaller. Thus, a humantaurs heart, or really any mutant’s heart that has more body mass than a standard non-mutated human, will need to be bigger and more powerful to supply more blood to more areas of the body at once.

More blood circulation means you need more oxygen so you need more powerful lungs. It means you need more fuel to power those organs so you need a more powerful digestive system, so on so forth. If one organ gets bigger, all of them need to get bigger.

But there’s a problem. You can’t just make hearts bigger and expect them to work better. In the medical world, we call an enlarged heart cardiomegaly, and its usually a sign of an awful disease. Simply put your body doesn’t have room for a bigger heart. A larger heart would have trouble beating, and thus put you at greater risk of heart disease.

So there’s really no extra space in a standard human torso for “more heart” to go. That’s why extra organs tend to form in extra torsos. The standard humantaur mutation essentially has a double set of every vital organ.

This does create some interesting “side-effects” so to speak. A humantaur can take breath’s twice as deep and hold their breath twice as long as anyone else. This actually makes them very good swimmers, despite their appearance suggesting otherwise. A humantaur can also scream twice as loud as a normal human by emptying both their lungs at once. Metal music isn’t my thing, but that’s why humantaurs can be so intense when wailing on the stage.

It also means that a humantaur’s rate of breathing is much slower than a humans, since they get so much more oxygen per breath. Their rate of digestion is slower too, due to their elongated digestive tract, so humantaurs just go to the bathroom less than us. It also means that humantaurs have that awful bloated feeling after a heavy meal longer than us too.

Speaking of meals, humantaurs have to eat twice as much as a normal human just to get their daily dose of energy. Usually humantaurs don’t quite eat double the food that they used to, simply as force of habbit, and this usually results in most humantaurs losing some body fat shortly after their mutation. However, it’s important that they eventually start eating right or eating disorders can develop. Anorexia is no joke.

There’s one other interesting side effect to mention. Humantaurs have longer life spans than other humans and mutants. Quite simply put, their organs are redundant. A humantaur can have one heart fail and the other will keep beating. Their quality of life will reduce. They will be less mobile and have to really monitor their daily activity, but they will be alive. This also means that if an organ fails, they can rest in the hospital waiting for an organ transplant as their secondary organ does all the work. It’s estimated that humantaurs should be able to regularly live to be over 100.

Humantaur physiology is very interesting despite them being classified as level 2 and 3 mutants. I’m happy to see so many people taking an interest. Stay curious!

Dear Ms. Jessica,

(The content for Ask Ms. Jessica comes from real questions from real people sent to AskMsJessica@gmail.com)

Dear Ms. Jessica

I've seen mutants that manage to separate the head from its body or other limb and wanted to know exactly how that works. Thank you

Hello Ms Jessica,

I admit, this is a couple questions in one, but I feel they’re connected because they all have to do with modular mutations:

1. I’ve seen instances where mutants are capable of not only separating parts of their body from themselves, but they can also control these parts with as much functionality as they did when attached. How can these mutants exhibit communication between these detached parts, in what appears like some form of telepathy?

2. Related to (1), what about cases when the detached parts take on minds of their own? Do they have separate brains or brain-like structures, or is it an adaptation that is made when parts separate? And what happens if someone can feel a detached part, but it otherwise functions on its own accord?

3. This isn’t something I can recall seeing in particular, but I have read it mentioned online: are there examples of modular mutants that can attach parts of themselves to foreign locations (such as swapping limbs, or attaching a body part to another person), and give function of this part to that new location? For instance, giving someone who has not mutated control over a third arm from a modular mutant, or a mutant who can remove their head and legs attaching those parts directly to each other, bypassing their chest? If there are examples, is there any explanation or hypothesis as to how this process works?

I apologise that this is a lot all at once, but thank you for looking at my questions.

Don’t worry about asking so many questions. It just means you are curious and curiosity is the backbone of science! I can take a shot at answering them all, no problem.

It seems you are both most interested in modular mutants, and very rightly so. Almost all modular mutants are level 4 mutants, meaning that we have very little understanding on how their bodies work. In fact, some seem to defy the laws of physics themselves! You might think it’s magic, after all that’s what the M in NBM stands for, but magic is just science we don’t yet sufficiently understand, and there are several theories about modular mutants that leading scientists have developed.

First, let’s talk about biology. We have currently recorded three separate types of modular mutants. The first is the one we understand the most, a mutant with redundant bodily systems.

What does this mean? Well some mutants can only detach at certain points. This is because the method of their detachment has to do with their internal organs. In short, each detached segment is, for all intents and purposes, its own being. That means it has its own heart, lungs, digestive system, and even brain. So if a mutant can remove their head, it is possible that the head has its own miniature system of organs, in addition to the body, which has grown an extra brain (possibly a slave brain as mentioned in issue 6.)

Their separation point acts as a sort of “connector” for important body pathways. Arteries, nerves, muscles, and other important body systems at the split have the ability to interlock with the ones on the other separated part of the body, usually through microscopic cellular lattices. This allows them to form one bigger system of redundant organs when attached, or two when detached. They essentially just lock their body systems into one another. Interesting fact, modular mutants with this type of mutation are actually not level 4 mutants. We have seen similar behavior in certain lizards, crustaceans, and cephalopods.

Of course, then there is the question of how they control their modular body parts, and that’s a more interesting one, once again with multiple theories. One theory simply assumes a certain amount of universal determinism. This topic gets a little heavy so let me explain.

Universal determinism is a school of scientific thought that postulates that free will does not exist. For all intents and purposes, on our macroscopic scale of living, free will exists, but if you were able to accurately track and model the state of every particle and wave in the universe, all we really are is just chemical and physical reactions bouncing off one another. Hence everything we do is predetermined since the big bang, and we have all been just systems interacting with each other since then. If you are interested in learning more about this theory, check out this amazing YouTube video by Up and Atom ( https://youtu.be/qRKXFDNjwJ0 )

Didn’t mean to get philosophical on you, but this school of thought is important for the first theory of modularity, which states that modular body parts with a separate brain simply know what to do, because they were aware of the body’s state before they split. Let me try to simplify this a bit.

Say you walked up to the door to your room and opened your door. Easy right? Now do the same thing but when you get to the door close your eyes. You can still open the door right? That’s because, even when you cut off your sense of sight, you still have a general feeling of the world around you based on where you were before.

Modular mutants are theorized to do this on just a much bigger and more complex level. Modular body parts with separate brains don’t actually communicate with their other body parts, but seem to simply because they know what the separated parts will do and vice versa, based on the state of their body before the split. Hard determinism in action.

If this theory were true it would explain a lot of things. For example, sometimes modular mutants that remain separated start developing individual personalities. The theory there is that their individual body parts can predict less and less what each other would do as they stay separate. Take the eyes closed example again. You can probably open the door with your eyes closed if you shut your eyes in front of it. But could you walk from your bed to the door with your eyes shut? Could you walk from your front lawn to the door with your eyes shut? How far removed from being in synch with your open eyes do you have to be before you do something different than you originally predicted, i.e., opening the door? For modular mutants it may be the same, just once again on a bigger scale.

Of course, the scientific community is split on whether or not the universe is actually deterministic, and thus there is another competing theory: quantum entanglement. I know you probably didn’t expect such a complicated answer, but modular mutants are complicated beings.

Many neuroscientists theorize that our brains are essentially quantum computers that operate via electrochemical signals. Well, quantum entities are capable of being entangled. It’s a bit hard to explain but, here’s the long and short of it. Two entities, usually particles, are quantum entangled when the state of one is affected by the state of the other. This can happen regardless of distance between the two particles. For more information, check out this amazing video by Veritasium (https://youtu.be/ZuvK-od647c )

Anyway, some scientists theorize that when a single brain splits into several brains or sub-brains, they become quantum entangled with each other. In theory, every chemical and physical process that occurs in one brain causes chemical and physical processes to occur in the other, regardless of the distance between the two. This would allow a mutant with separated body parts to control them regardless of distance.

(As a small personal side note, quantum entanglement also explains why it’s very likely that multiple parallel universes exist and I just think that is amazing. It’s further explained in this other amazing video by Veriasium. https://youtu.be/kTXTPe3wahc Heck, there’s probably a universe out there where mutants don’t exist at all. Could you believe that?)

Well I certainly fell down a fact hole there. Believe it or not, more complex Level 4 mutations are, strangely, much simpler to explain, though they are much harder to understand.

There is a type of Level 4 mutation, some people call them goo-girls or clay girls, but those aren’t very good scientific designators. What’s really happening in these girls is that their cells are losing differentiation.

You’ve heard of stem cells before, right? These are progenitor cells that can then go on to become whatever organ or tissue we need. Well, some mutants experience a radical mutation that makes their cells regress into variants of these stem cells. Instead of some cells being muscle, some being bone, some being neurons, and so forth, all of their cells perform all of their tasks. In a way, they are much less like humans and much more like slime molds, or the great fungal forests of the world. One has to wonder if they didn’t have their human memories, maybe they wouldn’t retain their human styled forms at all.

Anyway, mutants like these can pretty much detach their body parts at a whim, or really do whatever else they want to do with themselves. They can stretch, they can mold themselves into different shapes, they can even attach their limbs to others or attach other limbs to themselves. Their undifferentiated cells will simply adapt to whatever circumstance they need to be in, forming new systems of muscles and arteries as they need. As for how mutants like this communicate with their body parts, once again it’s not know but the two major theories are the same as the theories above, either the deterministic theory or the quantum entanglement theory.

There is one other type of modular mutant that science knows even less about. They are called “wormhole” mutants, and are currently the biggest mystery in mutant science. When a wormhole mutant detaches a limb, none of the processes we talked about earlier happen. In fact, we aren’t sure what happens… because their body doesn’t actually act like they are separate! For some reason, it’s as if their body is just ignoring the laws of space and time. They are… for all intents and purposes… still connected, but they exist in two places at once.

Let me try to explain better. Say we let one of these mutants swallow a tracer pill. If their head was disconnected from their body, the tracer pill would go down their throat to the point at which their neck ends, and then just show up where their neck would attach to their shoulder, in their body’s esophagus, as if it were teleported. Simply put, these mutants are not separated, they just LOOK as though they are separated.

Mind blowing, right? It’s entirely unclear what is going on here. Perhaps these mutants are some form of ultra-complex quantum entanglement. Perhaps they actually mutated through a higher dimension, like a fourth dimensional space, such that their body is connected in that dimension but is unconnected in these three dimensions. It’s highly unlikely that they are creating “wormholes” because that would require an immense amount of energy and mass to do, but it is fairly clear they are operating in areas of space and time we don’t yet understand.

Personally, I believe they HAVE to be fourth dimensional beings, and their body is simply moving through a dimension that we, and for that matter, they can’t see. (For more information on higher dimensional mathematics and physics, please see this classic video by the great Carl Sagan https://youtu.be/N0WjV6MmCyM)

Well that was quite a lecture wasn’t it? As I said before, modular mutants are an interesting and fascinating topic. There are whole classes devoted to them, and whole teams of scientists and research assistants devoted to studying how they work at universities around the globe. Studying “goo-girls” can likely teach us about how to use stem cells to heal wounds and sicknesses, and studying “wormhole” mutants can teach us about the very inner workings of the fabric of space and time itself.

All this knowledge gained by a few simple quirks of genetics.

As always, stay curious!

“Yes! Finally!” Monica exclaimed holding a precious package that she had been waiting on for days. She could hardly wait to get home and try it out.

Monica was a beautiful girl, petite and curvy. Some mutants would call her a “normie,” a girl with no mutant gene, and no hope for a future mutation.

But Monica was far from being normal.

She was a high functioning narcissist. She didn’t just like herself, she LOVED herself. She would spend hours looking at herself in the mirror. She loved her legs, her curves, her breasts. She would bring a breast to her mouth and suck on it erotically, feeling over her wondrous body, but that just wasn’t enough.

Without any hope of mutating she thought she would never get the opportunity to experience herself more intimately. That’s when she learned of the Magic Knife, an artifact that had been circling around different fetish groups. It had the power to give her what she wanted, or so everyone claimed. She wasn’t sure she believed in magic, but she didn’t care. She had to try.

She eventually tracked it down and signed a pact. It would be sent to her, and she would only be allowed to possess it for a week. She had better make the most of it.

She got home and quickly undressed, sitting on a bench in her living room, only wearing panties and heels. She untied the package to see a large knife with a golden handle and a strange circular knob with a blue jewel in the center.

She read the instructions, turning the knob twice until the jewel glowed crimson. “This must mean the magic is real” she thought to herself, trying to convince herself that what she was about to d wasn’t crazy. She was going to stab herself just for a chance to experience her own body in ways she never had before.

“This is not time for doubt” she thought. “This is what I always wanted.” The sook a deep breath, rested the knife slightly under her left armpit, and pushed it in.

The knife entered her flesh delicately, painlessly, and bloodlessly. It was as if you were pushing a hot knife through room temperature butter. Her flesh felt numb underneath it moving apart like clay. Her fear and nervousness was turning to great excitement. She took old of the knife harder and with one swift stroke, cut across her breasts to her other armpit.

The incision done, her top half started falling backwards. She quickly put up her hands, grasping onto her torso to stop her fall.

“Oh God! Oh God!” she said excitedly, barely able to believe what was happening. She used her rms to walk in front of the rest of her body. For the first time she was beholding herself head on, not in front of a mirror. She saw her curvy body finishing just above her breasts. She could see how her chest moved every time her head took a breath. She didn’t know how it worked. She didn’t care. All she knew was that this was amazing.

“Hello precious,” she said to her own body. “I’m finally going to get to have a date with myself.”

She climbed over her body and felt how it shuddered. It was her own feelings, she knew this, but somehow it still felt like she was touching someone else. Someone else just as beautiful as her.

“Wow, aren’t you shy? You beautiful thing you.” She hugged her body and sucked hard on her right breast. She moved her right arm down, reaching between her legs and felt how wet she was getting.

“Should we take this to the bedroom” she whispered to her body. They slowly started walking off as Monica laughed to herself “I think I’ll have to take off work this week.”

Only one week? I can't imagine many people who are into NBM, especially ones who love looking at themselves, accepting just one lone week with such a powerful and incredible artifact. I just hope Monica can get enough of this lone experience, really take advantage and exhaust her passions before she has to return it or risk breaking the pact in order to keep a hold of it for a while longer.

Original idea by @ MyLifeIsAnRPG

“You need… how many?” the store clerk said, a pale look on her face.

“For the last time, twelve!” said Alexis, exasperated. “Twelve pairs of heels, all in the same color, all in the same size.”

The local Payless Shoe Source was having an overstock sale on high heels. “All styles must go!” the advertisement said “20% off all heels! Take another 50% off if we don’t have the style or size you are looking for.”

“Your ad said you’d have it in stock” said Alexis, growing increasingly annoyed. She pointed one of her many foot hands toward the cashier “So like, I said, twelve pairs all in this style, or I get 50% off. Or do I have to talk with your manager?”

The store wasn’t any stranger to mutant business. In fact, having the occasional girl come with an extra pair of legs or two really boosted sales. Normal humans don’t usually buy multiple pairs of shoes at once. But Alexis was a different story. She had so many legs tipped with so many hand feet. Her mutation was obviously more extreme than most.

But it wasn’t her mutation that was hard to handle, it was her personality. She was confident and aggressive. She knew her legs were beautiful and she loved showing them off, dressing in sexy attire even on routine days. She also wasn’t afraid to raise a stink if she wasn’t catered to. Maybe it had something to do with her rich upbringing, or maybe it was her way of dealing with having a more extreme mutation, but she didn’t take shit from anyone.

“I’m sorry miss” said the clerk. “I just don’t think we have twelve pairs of shoes in any style that are the same size.”

“Listen you!” Alexis said, leaning over the counter. “I have a very important party to go to and I need to look my best, and that means all my shoes need to match! Or would you have me show up, the guest of honor, wearing mis-matched heels like some sort of rag-tag patchwork doll!” Other customers averted their eyes from the scene, including some other mutants who were more than happy to wear multiple styles of shoes at once.

“Now your advertisement said that you would have these shoes in stock, any style, any size. Well this is the style I want, and my size is twelve pairs in a size seven!”

“B-but twelve pairs isn’t really a size” the clerk said meekly. “It’s, more like an amount?”

“Oh is that the case!” barked Alexis, flipping back her long hair with another foot-hand. “So normal human girls get to waltz in here and say ‘hey I need one pair of shoes to fit my normal two feet’ and you hop right to it, saying ‘oh thank you ma’am! Thank you miss normal! We will help you right away’” Alexis said in a mocking voice. “But a mutant girl comes in and suddenly it’s ‘sorry we can’t help you!’”

“Th-that’s not what I meant, I…”

“Look here. Your shoes fit when you get the size right… right!? Well I have twenty four feet, which means I need twelve pairs of shoes in a goddamn size seven, for them to fucking fit! Now do you have them or not!” She slammed one of her perfectly manicured foot hands on the counter, her anklets jingling as she did.

The clerk practically jumped “I…I’ll go check the back!” he said running into the store room.

“Thank you!” exclaimed Alexis, adjusting herself after her frazzled outburst. “It’s so hard to find good help these days.”

“Shit, I’m late!” Miranda thought looking at her watch. She was desperately trying to push out the last egg, but it was dangerous to rush it. Tense up too much and it would break, which would make her spend more time cleaning egg goo off her legs, and painfully picking egg shards out of her private parts.

This was her job, a living embodiment of the “it’s a living” joke from The Flintstones. She sat in her favorite chair, watching television, as she pushed out her quota of products. Half a dozen freshly laid eggs, two gallons of cream milked from her penis, several quarts of honey from her lower breasts, and several gallons of milk from her upper breasts.

This was Miranda’s routine every morning after her second mutation four years ago. She always had the pointed ears, four breasts, and small penis in addition to her vagina, but one day she woke up with a strange pressure in her tummy and moisture in her vagina. She moaned, squatted, and before she knew it she laid an egg, dripping in fluid. Before she could call the doctor she laid another, and then another, a strange mixture of pain and pleasure after each one. As she sat there laying, two more arms grew, forcing themselves out of her sides, growing bigger with eah egg she forced out.

It was many hours before she could go to a doctor to get a checkup on her situation. The transformation was quite a shock, but she had always told herself she wouldn’t mind an extra set of arms. Maybe they would let her be a little more productive.

One night, she tested out her new arms, fondling her breasts. At the lightest touch, she saw small drops of milk drop from her nipples. She did the same with her lower breasts, but the liquid that came out was warm and stickier. Her penis had grown as a result of her last mutation, and of course she couldn’t help but play with herself, but was shocked to find that it was pure fatty cream coming out.

She went to the doctor again to check up on these strange mutations, and sure enough she was producing shelf ready food right from her orifices.

Over the years, Miranda took up an job as a regular supplier to pastry shops, some of which specialized in creating foods with ingredients of mutant origin. Eating mutant produced food still felt a little creepy to a lot of people, but the small market for it was very enthusiastic. She was sure that they were getting off on it. It’s a shame because the milk and honey she produced were some of the best tasting around.

“Mmmmm just a little more” Miranda said as she gently pushed out two more eggs. She finally felt the contractions stop as she got off her chair and disconnected the milking devices. “Seven in a single day, one over quota” she said picking up the extra egg. “Time to treat myself to a nice breakfast.”

CRAAAASH!

The pieces of an extremely expensive antique Mediterranean ceramic vase lay scattered at Rose’s feet.

“Oh no! I can’t believe how clumsy I am!” Rose said between sobs. She sat on the floor, sore from her fall, her three long legs tangled with themselves. “This is the third object I broke this month…” she said with a heavy frowning sigh.

The awkward made stood on her shaky legs. She was starting to get used to walking in her high platform shoes, but she was undeniably a bit of a klutz. She caught her shoe on the edge of the carpet and fell forward, and when she tried to catch herself with two legs at once they just got in her way. She grabbed at anything around her to help her keep her balance. Unfortunately, she found the vase.

Despite the whole mess being one big accident, she couldn’t help but feel guilty. “Master is so good to me and I’ve been so reckless,” she wailed. “Maybe I don’t deserve to be here after all.”

Rose collected the bits and pieces as best she could, hoping she could somehow repair it, but despaired at the fine sprinkling of ceramic dust that lay on the floor, dust that used to be a vase that paid several years of her salary. She put them in a bag, adjusted her maid outfit, and finished cleaning the hall.

“I’m going to have to speak with master…” she said, the guilt weighing heavy on her shoulders. “I’ll explain what happened and…. And probably have to give my resignation.”

A few hours later the man she called Master arrived home at his mansion. It was a long day and all he wanted was to rest. He entered the hall, and saw Rose, in her maid outfit, averting her eyes, a look of almost painful sorrow across her face.

“W-welcome home Master. I… have something I need to tell you.”

“No no, don’t say it,” the Master said interjecting. “You broke something, right?”

“Yes! I… I didn’t mean it” she said with tears in her eyes. “I broke the vase… the expensive one. I tripped on the carpet and hit it when I fell down. I know that vase could have paid for three other maids much more talented than me. I’ll just… leave and never come back…”

“Rose… ugh… yes that vase was expensive,” said the boss, exhausted from his day’s work “but you are worth more than just your paycheck. If you left, then life around here would be less happy… and a whole lot less interesting. You say you are going to leave every time you make a mistake and I’ll say the same thing I always say. Please don’t.”

“Really Master?” Rose said with tears in her eyes.

“Yes really” her Master said with a smile on his face. “I’d happily trade in several priceless artifacts for your company.”

“Oh thank you Master!” Rose said with a sobbing joy. “I promise I will be more careful. Maybe I should stop wearing heels.”

“Now now, that would be a shame. First leaving and now giving up heels? Don’t make your master cry.”

Rose smiled and nodded. Her master laughed again, “Oh, and I know you already have your bags packed. You might as well bring them back to your room.”

“Y, yes master. Right away.” Rose reached into the other room and picked up several suitcases that she had packed, ready to move out. She happily started running upstairs with them to unpack them back in her room. Unfortunately she was running so fast she slipped.

“Oh no!” she said as a suitcase went tumbling down the stairs flinging her clothes everywhere.

“Never a dull moment” her Master said, smiling as he bent down to help her pick them up.

I was on my way home when I saw.. her? I suppose I should say her. It was half a girl, a pair of legs. But it wasn’t just any pair of legs. It was an incredibly beautiful pair, captivating in the way they walked. They were smooth, completely clean shaven, clad in a pair of black panties and Louboutin heels. They walked confidently in those heels, as if they were very used to wearing them. Was, this a mutant? Or was some mutant careless enough to misplace such beautiful legs.

They were turning the corner with a timid pause. It appeared as if they didn’t know the neighborhood. I approached to try and help them, but they avoided me. It would be several more minutes until they came back to me, as if resigning themselves to my aid.

I tried to look for some identifying marks, a tattoo, an ankle bracelet with an address or name on it, I even checked her shoes. Nothing. The only thing I could think of was to bring them home so they can rest.

They settled on my sofa. Their skin was perfect, like a blend of silk and velvet. I couldn’t bear the curiosity so I peeked under their panties. Their pussy was hairless, pink lips delicate and perfect. I couldn’t tell if the legs couldn’t tell what I was doing, or if they didn’t care.

I took off their heels so they can rest their feet. They had a perfect pedicure, recently made even. They must have gotten lost recently. That was when I noticed a small toe-ring, something I didn’t check before. I took it off and inscribed along the inside was a phone number. FINALLY! Not that I didn’t enjoy touching this perfect pair of legs, but it was time to get them back to their owner.

I called the number and assumed that the legs’ owner picked up, but actually it was some sort of assistant. She said that she and her “lady” would come by in a few minutes. Lady? Was she rich? Royalty? Some kind of celebrity.

I took the spare time to massage the delicate feet in my lap. I am not particularly sure how but, they look pleased. They even got playful. At one point they pushed their left foot against my groin in a seductive way. While I couldn’t deny my arousal, I didn’t want to go too far with the owner soon arriving.

Soon, the bell rang. A young woman dressed in an all-black suit answered. “Thank you for taking care of my lady’s legs,” she said in a stern and serious voice. “They sometimes run away when she sleeps. It’s not a problem in the mansion, but my lady insisted on going out for a hair cut and pedicure. She fell asleep while she was waiting for her hair to dry and here we are.”

I looked over her shoulder to see what may have been the most expensive car I have ever seen parked in front of my lawn. Out of the window I saw an incredibly beautiful young woman, slightly blushing, dressed in a while dress and covering her eyes with sunglasses. The legs almost skipped excitedly as she neared, running over to her. The girl opened the door, rolled up her dress, lefted her with her arms and climbed atop the legs where her skin fused back into one. The most beautiful girl I had ever seen was now whole again. She nodded to me in a gesture of thanks and entered the car.

“She is grateful” said her assistant. “Thank you for calling the emergency number we keep on her toe ring. It would be bad if my lady’s legs fell into the wrong hands. I expect you will not share the number with anyone, yes?” She looked into my eyes with a cold stare. I nodded. “Good” she said.

“I just, did what any good person would do” I said nervously, trying to prove my good intentions.

The assistant laughed a bit. “My lady can still feel her legs when they are detached. You apparently give excellent foot massages. I hope you called us on your personal line. The lady wants to… save your number for later.”

With that her assistant gave a small bow and got back into the car, slowly driving away to who knows where. There’s no chance a girl like her would be interested in a guy like me…. Is there? I laughed, convincing myself that it was impossible… but I certainly did keep my phone charged and in my pocket at all times for the next few days.

Emily - A tale about mutation 04 2020-05-23T01:23:41+00:00close

Emily shakily put her hands on her now wider than normal hips, fiddling with the torn fabric of her skirt. A look of annoyance and grief flashed across her face.

“It happened this afternoon.” She said. “I had a really good day at work so I thought I’d head to the mall and treat myself. I was walking through the food court when I started to feel nauseous. Then I felt pressure. Then pain. It was a very strange sensation, like my insides were crawling around.” Emily slumped backward in her favorite chair, exhausted. She let out a small whimper as the armrests felt tight against her wide hips and a sigh as the very act of recounting the day’s events was draining.

“I can’t imagine. Was it over quickly?” -Paul said, incredulously.

“Thankfully yes.” Emily said leaning back against the headrest. As least something hadn’t changed. “It was a minute at most. I felt hot and out of breath, and there was a tingling deep inside me. Then everything started to crack and pop. It was painful. It felt like something was dying to get out of me. I felt this need to push and when I did I felt skin and bones and muscles move. It was like a horror movie. Eventually it felt like something popped, and the pressure released, that’s when my new leg grew. It was really fast too, it shredded my underwear.”

“Oh hooooo so does that mean you aren’t wearing anything under that skirt?” Paul said trying to break the dour mood.

“Paul, please, I'm literally a tripod now. A mutant! Can we focus, just for a second, on something other than my lack of panties?”

Paul winced when his joke landed so poorly. “Sorry, I’m just having a hard time absorbing it all. I have seen lots of people with mutations but they’ve always been minor.”

“Same” Emily replied. “There was a lot of stuff I could have dealt with, or even liked. Pointed ears, extra nipples, heck I would have even been OK with a tail. But this… this is so much. I couldn’t even hide it if I wanted to.”

Hello my dear aliens! It’s been so long and it’s so nice to be with you again.

I apologize for not uploading more photos but I’ve been busy. I’ve practically been on a tour, going to several laboratories to run tests on my body. Because, yes, it’s true dear aliens… I have mutated again, and the new me is beyond imagination!

Do you know what a level 4 mutant is. It’s a mutant whose body has transformed (or in my case, “perfected”) so much that their biology doesn’t even make sense to current day science. Well you, my dear aliens, are now fans of the most shockingly beautiful level 4 mutant of this or any other solar system.

Let’s do the before and after thing. First, we have me from three weeks ago. Super-hot, I know, but oh so boring and human.

Now, you have me from today, no longer just your Alien Girlfriend, now your Alien Queen!

I can’t even begin to describe the wondrous things that have happened to me. I can now separate my body into three independent sections. They are all me, and to an extent I can control them all, but they also kind of have a mind of their own, a hive mind, if you will.

First, there’s my head. It was the first part of my body to mutate and it hasn’t changed much. All the mutations from last time are here, the tentacle tongues, three eyes, four ears, four legs, and of course wings, which I’m happy to say have gotten bigger and stronger since last we talked.

Then there is my torso. New eyes formed above my breasts, which is great because now I have a better sense of where it is when my head is detached. My breasts themselves formed two mouths with their own tentacle tongues. They are like little mini-mes. We sang in vocal harmony the other day and it was beautiful… if I wasn’t so busy being your Alien Queen, I could probably make a killing on Mutant Idol.

You’ve probably noticed some other changes to my torso as well. I now have four arms and four new crablike legs, which allows my torso to move around independently. I also have two new breasts under my original ones. These are more my “real” breasts now, since my original breasts are now for talking and eating.

Then there is my bottom half. My legs grew a new section and, to be honest, this might be my favorite change. All girls should be so lucky to have legs as long as this! I also grew a second set of legs. Good thing I had another set of heels lying around.

My vagina turned into a mouth. You might be wondering how I… hehe… you know but to be honest, I haven’t had to go to the bathroom since I changed! There’s some weird chemistry going on in me, and I’m not sure what. Oh well, I don’t need to! That’s what the lab visits are for.

Finally I have a long tail with a big glorious eye. It’s really strange to be able to experience trinocular, binocular, and monocular vision all at once, depending on what part of my body I’m looking out of, but I honestly have never had better vision on my life. (Here’s a secret, your human Alien Girlfriend needed glasses but just wore contacts, but your Alien Queen doesn’t need them at all!)

Being able to be in three places at once is genuinely incredible. I feel like a community in myself. I’ve been dying to try all these bodies out at once, but you know… quarantine. Luckily a few restrictions have been lifted recently, so I went out for a walk with my head, while my torso sat back and played video games and legs had some, hehe, sexual fun. The walls of my vagina mouth are still so very sensitive…. It’s almost too easy to get myself off. I have to be careful though. I was flying when I reached orgasm and I nearly fell out of the air!

My life has picked up so much since my mutation. I’m already working out some talk show dead and modeling sessions for some fetish magazines. I’m even trying out for a movie! I would be playing, of course, an alien girl. Now I have to hope that my acting is as wonderful as my mutation. I can barely contain myself!

Remember, your queen is thinking about all of you my little hivelings, and remember…

The truth is out there!

The morning was barely breaking on the farm, but everyone was already awake and at work. Annie Brownie, the cute puppy girl, went to the barn to see Thea coordinating the next delivery of milk that would leave for the city. She saw Alaska, the massive stud girl pulling a wheelbarrow full of food and supplies. She saw Lotus, the snake girl, resting on a hay bale basking in the sun.

…OK, not everyone was at work.

Dixie and Golden, the chicken girls, were rushing to their egg laying shift. Licorice and Smokey, the sheep girls, were shaving themselves, filling boxes with wool that would then be sent off to be spun into fabric and thread. There were goat girls making cheese, pig girls fixing the barn, even a bee girl pollinating flowers and producing honey from her breasts.

“They are all working so very hard,” Annie thought to herself. “I need to do my part too!”

The adorable little puppy brushed her hair and practices some flirty poses that she saw the older animal mutants do. She took a large cushion from the farmhouse and set it up outside the front door. She also found a leftover blank canvas and fashioned a makeshift sight that said:

“ADOPT A PUPPY”

“Done! Now I just have to wait for someone to adopt me and I can donate all the money I make to the farm! Hehe!”

Cars came and went, most of them filled with the farm’s standard customers, chefs, wholesalers, groceries, and the like, but by the middle of the day vehicles filled with sketchy guys and fraternity jerks were pulling up alongside the road. Wondering what was going on, Thea and Alaska went to investigate and found the puppy making flirty “come hither” motions at the passing cars.

“Annie Brownie, I was just looking for y- Wait… what the heck are you doing?” Thea exclaimed seeing her sign, cushion, and awkward behavior.

“Thea! I’m so happy you are here! I’m going to contribute to the farm like everyone else. I’m going to let someone adopt me, and then I’ll give you all the money I make!”

Thea laughed to herself “Annie, darling.” Thea said in an understanding tone. “Do you know what adoption means? If someone adopts you, then you’ll have to leave the farm forever.”

“FOREVER!” Annie said, standing up and flailing her arms. “What!? No! I thought it was like a date, but like one that someone pays you to go on. You get paid, you go out, you have fun, and then you come home with the money right?”

“That’s called prostitution!” Lotus called out from the top of her hay bale.

“Oh shut it!” shouted Alaska with an angry scowl.

Thea turned back to Annie giving her a pat on the head. “No honey. Adoption is when people bring you into their family. If you were adopted into a new family, you would have to leave this one.”

“I don’t want to leave this family” Annie said meekly, a few tears in her eyes.

“Good, and we don’t want you to leave either.” Thea said with a warm smile. “Besides, I don’t like the look of most of these guys. I don’t think they would treat you well.”

“Hey! Come on already. We want to adopt the dog!” one of the jerks shouted from their car.

“Yeah, we will be sure to treat her reeeeeal nice!” another jerk said, licking his lips in an eerie way.

Alaska walked over to the car and put a hand on the roof. Her strength caused the whole carriage to shake, startling the men inside. She lifted her massive stud penis with her other hand and bent over to look the men in the eye. “Come on sugar. Why would you want to adopt the little puppy when you can be with a big strong woman like me.” She licked her lips in the same way the creepy jerk did, which made them both pull back in fear.

“N-no, thank you. We’re good!” The frightened men rolled up the window and quickly pulled away, the other dubious vehicles soon following.

“Hah typical!” Alaska said with a laugh as she walked back over to Thea and Annie. “Weak men always run when they see someone bigger than them.”

“Thanks Alaska, and I’m sorry. I’m sorry to you too Thea” Annie said wiping away a few of her tears. “I love you all so much. I promise I’ll never offer myself up for adoption again.”

“Good girl” Thea said, petting her head once more. “Now come with me. We had a big yield last night and I could use some help counting it all.”

“Really!” Annie said excited “I can help?”

“Of course!” Alaska said with a chuckle “We’d be happy for your help. I mean who else is gonna pitch in, Lotus? HAH!”

“I HEARD THAT! I’M COLD BLOODED AND I NEED TO WARM UP BEFORE WORKING! YOU KNOW THAT!” Lotus shouted in an annoyed voice from afar.

The three girls laughed to themselves and went back into the farmhouse.

“Phew! What a day!” both of Athena’s heads exclaimed with an exhausted sign. She had spent the better part of the day cleaning and doing chores, when she wasn’t looking after her babies.

It was still an hour before her husband Peter would return from work. She took this rare moment of relaxation fall back into her favorite chair, turn on the TV for some background noise, and let one of her heads drift to sleep. It was a small trick she learned a month ago. It didn’t quite refresh her the way a full night’s sleep or even a nap would, but it was a decent way to recharge without totally passing out.

AS her right head snorted and snored in her sleep, her left thought back to a time when her life was very different, a time when the name Athena, the name of a goddess, felt far too big for her.

She met Peter back when she was in college, before she mutated. Back then she was just a shy five foot tall girl with an interest in literature. It’s not often that you stay with your college love forever, but she and Peter really clicked. They were married not long after they graduated. Peter got a job as a professor at their alma mater while Athena worked freelance as a consultant and research assistant.

However, Athena’s real aspiration was always to have a family, another thing she shared in common with her husband. It was an aspiration which would be realized only a few years after their marriage. She and Peter rejoiced after the pregnancy test came back positive, but the doctor’s visit came with two new surprises.

First, she was expecting twins.

Second, she had the mutant gene.

Athena had already gone through puberty with no mutations and was well into adulthood. The doctor explained how it’s usually chemical changes in the body that trigger a mutation, and that pregnancy changes your body chemistry just as much as puberty does. So, she prepared herself. She decided that no matter how she mutated, she would be a good mother and wife.

And yet the mutation didn’t come. She carried the babies to term without any mutations at all. The delivery was ideal, with fewer complications than even the doctors expected. She has a baby boy and girl, both healthy and beautiful. Athena and Peter finally had the family they wanted, and it looked like even the pregnancy wasn’t enough to cause her to mutate.

But life is funny that way. Sometimes the biggest challenges of your life feel like nothing while the small stressors change your life forever.

Raising the twins was draining, but fulfilling. Athena and Peter took turns tending to the babies at night. They slept in shifts, neither of them getting a full nights rest. Someone was always up, changing diapers, heating a bottle, checking on them when they cried. It was a full time job, but luckily the university had given Peter some paternity leave and his help was more than appreciated.

With the knowledge that Peter would one day have to return to work, Athena tried to take most of the responsibility on herself. She pushed her body to the breaking point, handling chores around the house, getting very little sleep, and taking care of the babies as well. She wanted Peter to not have to worry about her when her paternity leave was up. He protested, insisting that she let herself rest, but she wouldn’t listen.

Then one night, she pushed herself too far.

Exhausted and barely able to move her body, she dragged herself to the side of the bed, gently rocking Peter to wake him up. “Honey…” Athena said softly. “I… I don’t think I can look after the babies tonight. My body feels like it weighs a ton. I’m sorry but, can you cover for me?”

“Of course honey!” Peter said giving her a loving hug. “You already do so much. You must be exhausted. Lie down and get some rest.”

“Thank you” Athena said with a soft smile. She fell back onto the bed as Peter left to deal with the children.

What happened next was bizarre to say the least. Athena tried to relax, but it felt like her skin was crawling, or rather, something below her skin was crawling. It was her muscles, shifting and moving beneath her body. At first she thought it was just fatigue, but then she got a glimpse of her actual muscles, bulging, and tightening. She got up, her clothes feeling tight. She tried to call for Peter, but sound wouldn’t come out. Maybe it was shock. Maybe it was exhaustion.

Her muscles continued to grow, as the bones in her body thickened and lengthened. She could feel herself growing, taller, thicker, stronger. Her breasts grew several sizes, and as she arched her back, two more sets grew beneath them, heavy and engorged with milk. She ripped out of her pajamas as they became too small to contain her growing body, moaning softly to herself.

She reached a hand forward, only to see her knuckles moving and cracking. Her fingers pushed together, replacing her five dainty fingers with three, longer, thicker, stronger ones. The same happened with her toes, merging down to three which felt far more sturdy and powerful. Every part of her body just felt solid and strong.

She leaned forward as if by instinct. Her shoulder blades cracked and split under her skin. She moaned and flexed them as they grew, pushing out against her skin, new muscles and bones growing. Even before she saw it, she felt it. She knew she was growing a second pair of arms.

And the most bizarre mutation of all, was when her head split apart. She felt her skull crack and cave in, bisecting itself. Her face pulled at itself, stretching sideways, and dividing into two halves. Her eyes were shut tight, as she felt new flesh growing, and when her eyes opened again, she would see out of four, four eyes on two heads, each with a long golden horn growing out of her forehead.

As her mutation slowed to a stop, she felt herself exhale heavily. She turned to look at herself in the mirror. She was nearly seven feet tall and she looked like some sort of two headed ogre. But she felt, honestly, amazing.

It was weird. She had heard tales of mutations being painful, but this wasn’t painful at all. She wondered if it was because of the hormones from pregnancy still circulating through her body. Or maybe her views of pain were just skewed. After all, there is practically nothing more painful than childbirth.

But this didn’t feel painful. It didn’t feel like her body was tearing itself apart. Rather, it felt like her body was waking up. She felt like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon. Like a new her was born, a new her that she instantly loved. She felt the power in her muscles, the thumping of her heart, the barreling breath her massive lungs were able to take in. Her body was Amazonian in nature. The flexed her arms and chest and suddenly a stream of milk came out of her new breasts. They weren’t even sore. It’s like she was built to be a mother. Built to raise her children. She had wished to be strong for Peter, and now she was.

“I think I have to empty these” one head said, the tatters of her pajamas having caught most of the milk.

“God I hope Peter doesn’t freak out” the other said, as she went to the bathroom and began milking herself into a few prepared baby bottles. It felt good, not just sexual but, loving and motherly to milk herself, knowing it will be used to feed her babies. She was doing a mother’s duty.

Athena remembered how Peter almost passed out later that night when he saw her in her new giant sexy form. They stayed up all night exploring her body, figuring out how it works, and that morning they made love. It was a unique experience for Peter to play a more submissive role in front of his wife’s strong and muscular body. Despite staying up all night, Athena wasn’t tired. Her stamina had grown so much, just through this mutation.

Over the next few months Athena made some changes to accommodate her new life. The largest expenditures were a whole new wardrobe purchased from the big and tall store, and some new furniture that better held her new body’s weight, Still, despite her changes being quite radical, and the doctors classifying her as a level 3 mutant when next she had a checkup, she didn’t have to make too many adjustments. New clothes and sturdier chairs were a small price to pay for this new body which she felt was a clear upgrade.

Honestly, the most frustrating thing to do was drive, since cars just weren’t built for tall people, but then again she figured that wasn’t a problem that only mutants had. There were definitely some tall humans out there that were feeling her pain. Besides, she spent most of her time at home, caring for the kids, so she spent far less time driving than she used to.

Now sitting on her comfy chair, wiped after a day’s worth of mothering, her left head laughed to herself. “My body was made for this job and the twins still manage to tire me out. Haha, no one ever said being a mother was easy.” She leaned over to kiss her right head awake as she saw Peter’s car pulling up the driveway.

“Mmmmmm…. This is the best way to wake up.” Her right head said as she slowly blinked her eyes open.

“True” her left head whispered. “Hey Peter’s almost home. What say we wait for him naked?”

“Without a doubt” said her right head as she began to remove her dress.

She was tired, but she still had some energy left for a little fun.

I wonder if at the end it's a little game she does between her heads or if she's slowly starting to have two personalities.^^

“I can’t stand her anymore” said the boy with a spiteful disdain. “Quarantine is bad enough, but now I’m grounded on top of it.”

“Less talking more peeling” his mother said, motioning to the large heap of unpeeled potatoes serving as his current punishment. “And what’s this about hating your cousin? A few years ago you said you wanted to marry her.”

“I did not!” protested the boy. “Or if I did, I didn’t mean it.”

“Hah! I clearly remember the first time you saw her. You couldn’t stop talking about her for weeks.

The boy grumbled and went back to peeling potatoes. It bothered him that his mom remembered every dumb thing he said.

He thought back to that moment, when his uncle moved back to Port Solei. He had eloped with a mutant woman, a single mother with four arms and four breasts. It shocked the family at first, and there were still more conservative parts of the family that didn’t approve. However, the boy’s mother was one of the first to reach out, and soon became fast friends with hi new aunt.

The day that they first met was eye opening for him. He had never seen a mutant woman up close. He only had pictures and the angry rants of his grandparents to go by. Understanding that mutants were really, well, real was a formative experience.

But not nearly as formative as meeting his new cousin. He had never met a prettier girl and despite her mutation she could easily have been considered his first love. Of course, he was young at that time, too young to know what love meant. Frankly, he was probably still too young.

“That was then!” the boy replied, snapping himself out of his own reminiscence. “This is now. Every time I see her something bad happens.”

“Nothing bad would happen if you weren’t so ‘clumsy’” the mother said in a mocking tone.

“I seriously didn’t mean to do any of it!” the boy shouted, going back to his pile of potatoes. Things were difficult. He would be living with his cousin for a long time but he felt like he couldn’t even get close to her anymore. He was already grounded long enough to last several quarantines, and he blamed her… but he also still liked her. He hated that he liked her. It was all so confusing.

“Ok, that’s enough” his mother said, as the boy absentmindedly started letting his peels drop the floor. “You look exhausted. Take a break and, I don’t know, maybe play some video games with your cousin. Try to make amends. Just…” she paused with a heavy sigh “be careful this time, ok?”

The boy put down the peeler, went to the bathroom, washed his hands, and entered the living room where he saw his cousin playing Soul Calibur 2, a classic that they had played many times before as young children. She was sitting on the couch wearing a warm knit top and elastic shorts.

“Weren’t you serving out your sentence in the kitchen?” His cousin said with a stony look on her face.

“I got time off for good behavior,” he replied. “Mind if I play?”

“So you got bored of your Mom so now you want me to punish you?” she said with a malicious smile. “Pick up the controller.”

They played several rounds and the boy had to admit that she was good. He wasn’t able to take a match. Despite his horrible performance, the atmosphere was relaxed. They laughed, trash talked, brought up good memories about the game. It was probably the best interaction the two had since quarantine started.

“I’m just out of practice. But I’m getting there. I bet I can even win the next fight-“

“DONE!” the girl replied. “And the winner can demand one thing from the loser.” She was cooking up a little revenge plot in her mind.

“A-anything?” the boy responded.

“Anything.” The girl gave him a wink.

The boy was confused. Was she flirting with him? Was she just screwing with him? What was she scheming? In the end it didn’t matter. He planned to have her tell his mom that she forgave him so that he can get out of this endless series of punishments. That would be enough.

They were at the character select screen and his cousin was debating between Ivy or Taki when he noticed a stray thread sticking out of her top. “Hold on, let me just…” he said as he reached over to grab it. He yanked on it hard and immediately realized the mistake he made. It was like a chain reaction. The thread gave way and the top unraveled, his cousin’s three generous breasts being laid bare to the air.

She covered her breasts and her face flushed red with embarrassment and anger. “WHAT THE FUCK!” she screamed at the top of her lungs. “CAN’T WE SPEAK TO EACH OTHER FOR THREE MINUTES WITHOUT YOU TRYING TO SEE MY FUCKING TITS!”

“No! It was an accident! I swear!” The boy’s face went pale. He couldn’t believe this was happening again.

“You think I’m going to believe you? You have the world’s biggest boner right now. You are such a pervert!”

“Well, yeah? What about your bo-“

“AUNTIE!” the girl shouted before the boy could finish his sentence. “HE TOOK OFF MY BRA THIS TIME AND HE’S STARING RIGHT AT MY DICK!”

She stomped out of the room with outrage on her face, though the boy noticed what could have been a flirtatious sway to her hips. Was she… getting off on getting him in trouble?

“What do I have to be so STUPID?” he said to himself. He started to question whether or not this was some sort of big plan. Did she mean to do this? Was the game just bait? Had she been purposefully been putting herself in harms way all this time just to embarrass him.

“Well, thank god I can’t be punished anymore. Mom already has me doing all the chores.” He said to himself.

“I’m withholding your allowance for the rest of quarantine!” his mom shouted from the other room.

The boy looked to the heavens and shook his fist “CURSE YOU GOD!”

Karin in Discord - Quarantine 2020-05-18T00:30:57+00:00close

It’s been a few months since the lab shut down for quarantine. You might be wondering, what have all the lab girls been doing.

Maddie was fortunate enough to have a decent amount of scientific equipment at home and has been slowly transporting official lab equipment there to create a remote lab setup. In addition to her standard mutation research, she has been looking into how mutant physiology interacts with the virus, in order to better serve any members of the mutant community that might become sick.

Nurse Grace is on the frontlines, acting as an ER nurse for COVID-19 patients. She works long hours and is constantly on call. She has moved out of her apartment and now lives in a co-op with other doctors and nurses that are responding to the pandemic. While this is certainly one of the most stressful times in her medical career, she is doing important work and saving lives on a daily basis.

With the lab closed, Sophie and Lucy have had less secretary work to do. While they still handle paperwork here and there as it comes up, they mostly spend their time doing web-based cosplay photoshoots. They’ve amassed a decent following and host several charity streams, donating all the money raised to COVID relief.

Thea moved back to her farm, away from population centers that were dealing with massive outbreaks. She has begun donating her crops food banks in order to serve communities that are going through resource shortages during the pandemic. She has also started organizing a mutant co-op so that any mutant that produces milk, eggs, or another food-stuff can donate personally to local food banks as well. She has begun turning her own milk into cheese, butter, and other dairy items so that it can be more easily preserved and shipped to communities that need it.

After Leena caught COVID-19, she had to take a full month to recover. While she’s still having a few breathing problems here or there, she’s feeling much better and resumed her normal life as one of the few who now has active antibodies to the disease. She has since donated blood plasma to aid in the search for a vaccine. Unfortunately, the quarantine has put a temporary stop to her duties as a lab assistant. So instead, she’s become the labs writer and editor, going over every press release and official document that the lab puts out. In fact, she may be typing this right now. Ooooooh, how meta!

Carl has been using his 3D printer to print medical equipment such as face shields and respirators for hospitals in need. What? You didn’t know that Carl had a 3D printer? Well he does, and he’s a very active part of the maker community! He’s a complex guy you know.

Karin has been continuing her work for Access Labs at home, performing genetic experiments with samples that Maddie sends her through secure mail. Of course, this means that she actually has to live her normal life in some of these forms, whereas normally she would only have to spend a short time in them in a controlled lab setting. It’s created some… interesting scenarios.

And Access…. Actually… wait… has anyone seen Access recently?

Color - The apartment next door 2020-05-17T23:08:21+00:00close

It was late in the afternoon on yet another day of quarantine. I prepared a cup of coffee as I readied myself for work. I work as a freelance coder so I was lucky enough to work from home on my own schedule, and sundown was when I was most productive.

I had just sat at my desk when I heard noises come from the apartment next to mine. A few days ago, the previously vacant apartment had be filled with some new neighbors. I didn’t know who they were and I wasn’t going to knock on their door, what with social distancing in place. Besides, moving during a global pandemic must be stressful enough. I didn’t want to add to that stress by having them deal with a visitor only a few days after move-in.

Still, I couldn’t stop myself from speculating. The walls were thin so I could hear their voices decently well. They sounded like a pair of young women. Roomates? Or maybe a hot lesbian couple? Nah. Their voices were somewhat similar so it was probably just a pair of sisters shacking up together until quarantine ends.

Most of the time the voices talked about how to decorate the apartment and where they were going to get food, but this time my work routine was broken up by what sounded like morning. I tried to ignore them and focus on my project, but the moans just got louder and louder. It was like an audio track from an adult movie was playing right through my wall.

As the screams of ecstasy got louder I noticed that I could pick out more than two voices this time. “Are they having an orgy? During quarantine?” It seemed weird, but it was the only conclusion I could come to.

I started to hear thumping and pounding in time with the moans and screams. At this point my imagination was racing with what sort of freaky sex party could be going on in the apartment next to mine. My work focus had long since passed on to a better life, as my mind was now completely obsessed with trying to pick out what was happening next door. I placed my ear to the wall to get a better picture.

“Five voices… six? How could they even fit so many in a studio apartment.” I mumbled to myself. I listened to the actions as the voices rose to a shout, obviously not even trying to hide themselves anymore.

“OH GOD YES!”

“HARDER!!! HARDER!!!”

“OH YEAH, JUST LIKE THAT! OH GOD MORE!”

“AH AAAAAH AAAAAAAH!”

“OH GOD OH FUCKING GOD I’M SO HOT!”

“I’M GOING TO CUM! I’M GOING TO CUM!”

“OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!” The group screamed out in unison. My suspicions were correct, it was definitely an orgy.

I had never been so excited and yet so conflicted in my life. My new neighbors certainly put on a show for me, but that really wasn’t an excuse to be having get-togethers like this in the middle of quarantine. Public guidelines said to call the police if you found anyone disobeying quarantine rules and hosting a party. I wasn’t going to go that far, but I also didn’t want them putting anyone in danger.

I decided to handle it myself. I put on my mask and headed over to their place, hearing a soft gasping “uaaaaaaa mmmmmph” come from the other side of the door. I gave it a knock.

“Hello? Can you please respect the quarantine rules? I don’t want to interrupt your orgy or whatever, but it’s really dangerous to have gatherings right now. It puts everyone in danger. If I hear it again I’m going to have to call the landlord.”

Dead silence. Apparently my words had taken effect. I was nervous, but I also felt like some kind of health vigilante. I hate prying into other people’s business, but this outbreak is serious stuff. The more I thought about people blatantly disregarding the rules put in place to keep us all safe, the angrier I got.

I had sat back down to continue coding. At this point, I was more distracted by anger than arousal. I hadn’t heard the slightest noise for an hour or so. I didn’t hear anyone leave the apartment so I assumed that everyone was still there, just keeping quiet. That’s when the doorbell rang.

“Damn, are they going to start a fight?” I said, assuming it was my neighbors coming to give me a piece of their mind. “Fuck it!” I said, getting up, ready to have an argument with some COVID deniers. I put on a mask, put a bottle of hand sanitizer in my pocket, took a deep breath and opened the door.

“Now listen you… oh? Oooooh….” I didn’t quite expect the sight I saw on the other side of the door. IT was a beautiful mutant girl with long gorgeous hair. She had three breasts and a peculiar face. It was hard to tell through the mask, but it seemed like maybe she had two chins, and two mouths. She was blushing a deep red and could barely make eye contact me.

“I’m sorry!” she said with a slight bow. “I really thought the walls were thicker. I didn’t think anyone could hear me.”

“Well, I have pretty good hearing” I said, trying to look good “But it’s not the noise that bothers me. It’s that you had so many people over during a national lockdown.”

“People?” She said confused. “Oh no no! You misunderstand. I live alone. You were just hearing me”

“Just you?” I said, raising an eyebrow. But I did notice that something was weird. Sometimes I saw her chin move as she talked, but sometimes they didn’t at all. Sometimes I saw her breasts move instead, and the sound would come from her body. I was starting to get the picture.

“Yes,” she said blushing, embarrassed that she had to explain her mutation to me. “I have six mouths. Don’t get me wrong, I have one personality! It’s just that I, sometimes get lonely so I talk to myself. And in… certain situations… I just can’t help using all of them at once y-you know? I try to keep them shut but I only have two hands. I can’t cover them all…”

I had no idea what to say. There was never an orgy next door. It was just a lonely mutant girl having some fun alone… and I had to be the prude that interrupted.

“Ah! Uhm, well, that explains everything. Carry on! I mean, don’t carry on! I mean not if you don’t want to, it’s not like I have any say in what you do. What I mean is, I won’t complain to the landlord because he doesn’t care if you masturbate. I mean he shouldn’t even know if you masturbate! I’m not going to tell him you masturbated. I just thought it was something else. Hehe… excuse me!”

I felt like I was going to die. I was ready to slam the door shut and jump out a window before she spoke up again.

“Thank you for understanding. I promise I won’t… uh… partake in recreational activities in the living room anymore. You shouldn’t be able to hear it from my bedroom. “

“No, no, don’t worry about it. Like I said, I have good hearing so I’ll always hear it a little. But as long as you are staying safe I don’t care.”

She bowed again politely “Thank you so much. When the quarantine ends, let me treat you to a cup of coffee to make it up to you.” She turned around and left.

“Hold on…” I thought to myself. “She has six mouths. Two were on her face and three were on her breasts… so was her sixth?” I opened the door to watch her enter her own apartment. She turned around and gave me a cute little wink before closing the door behind her.

I went back inside and sat on my desk chair with a thump, as if my legs couldn’t carry my body due to sheer embarrassment. This was going to be one long quarantine… but at least I had a coffee date to look forward to.

This is such a great read, and a good insight into how mutations work in your world. It answers pretty much any question I might have had about the topic.
