Hello! Thank you for using yiff.party!

We hope you enjoy using it. yiff.party operates on a non-profit basis, and as such, all the server expenses are paid by our users. We don't want to run ads or infect you with crypto miners. We depend on users like you to keep the site running, and to preserve years and terabytes of amazing content—some of which is no longer available from its original creators!

Because of the nature of the site, many users are reluctant to donate. That's OK! yiff.party was created so everyone can enjoy the content we host without any restrictions or paywalls. But if you value the service we provide, and are able to, we—and our users—would be tremendously grateful if you considered making a donation.

Donation progress for February 2020

So far, approximately $0.00 has been raised out of our target of $250.00. We're about 0% of the way there! Please note: this tracker is updated manually—don't worry if your donation doesn't show up immediately!

yiff.party's server costs are due on the last day of each month. So, we need to meet this goal before 29 February!

How to donate?

At this time, yiff.party can only accept donations in numerous cryptocurrencies. Please select a currency below to display the relevant donation address.

Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Ethereum (ETH)
Ethereum Classic (ETC)
Litecoin (LTC)
Why can't I donate through other means (eg. PayPal)?

Due to the nature of sites like yiff.party, it is very difficult to find payment processors who will accept clients like us. If we were to accept donations via PayPal, it wouldn't take more than a day for someone to submit an abuse report and get our account frozen. Until a viable way of accepting monetary donations becomes available, cryptocurrency will remain the only option.

There are many resources available on how to purchase crypto. For Bitcoin, check out bitcoin.org's page on buying Bitcoin for a list of methods. For beginner Bitcoin users, yiff.party recommends using an escrow service such as LocalBitcoins.

Happy Valentines Day! 2020-02-13T18:52:14+00:00close

...Time to celebrate that iconic heart-shaped symbol of love ... the ass. ;)

Here are two tutorials based off of a picture that several of you sent to me.

  • Kikkou Hip Harness - This is the original as far as I am able to work out.
  • Kikkou Hip Harness - Locked - This is a modification that adds more stability to the tie so that it stays in place better as your partner moves around.

I have added a new feature to these tutorials. The first section includes the picture that the tutorial came from. Note that this picture contains nudity.

I am going to send out a survey asking how you all feel about this idea. One of the core things about the tutorials on TheDuchy is that you are not confronted with nudity. So we may find that people like this new feature or that they specifically don't want it included.

If the vote is that it is cool to keep it, I may provide examples of a given tie from time to time, but keep them rolled up like this in case people want to see them...

Also, we are now officially on the new server. I hope to see much more reliability from this one and to have greater responsiveness from support if any issues arise...

As always, I am deeply grateful to you all. Thank you! And I hope you enjoy your Valentines Day!

Changing hosts ... << DONE >> 2020-02-12T20:23:14+00:00

OK,I have finished the move. Thing look good on my side and on all the devices I tested on... Do things look good for you all?

----------------------------

Hi Everyone,

We have been having some stability issues recently and, in response, I am moving my hosting to a new provider that is much more specialized and allows for automatic resource scaling and elasticity.

It is up and running on the new server and I am ready to switch production feed to the new host. You *shouldn't* see a service disruption as I do this, but I wanted to give you a heads up just in case. If we see anything, we will be working as quickly as we can to resolve them.

Thank you for baring with us. I will let you know when the shift is complete by sending out a message with two new tutorials ;)

Thank you, everyone!

So my web host — infuriatingly — went down again. 😡 It’s the last straw for that company.

I have already contracted with another one that is more deeply specialized in what I need. Once my current host gets things running again, we will migrate to the new host and bid this one fairwell.

So we might see a few bumps this week, but hopefully much smoother sailing on the other side. My apologies. bear with me and we’ll get this resolved quickly as we can.

As soon as we are stable again, I have two new tutorials for you, created specifically for Valentine’s Day 😉

New BTS Tutorials: Low Frames 2020-02-02T16:22:16+00:00

This tutorial is in the BTS ("Behind the Scene") section, and this one features nudity, which is not everyone's thing, so I didn't include a picture with this post. Proceed only if you are OK pornographic nudity.

Here are two more very intense scenes that use only easy ties! These two do also require anchor points to the side and above, but if you have a large bedframe with solid and tall foot board, you could do a lot of what you will see here with that just as well...

So, to spur your creative juices, here are two more BTS tutorials:

BTS: Olive in a Kneeling Frame

BTS: Lilly Lane

If you have not checked out BTS material before, the "Annotated Picture" section is just a single picture that shows what was done where. If you know all those techniques, that should be all you need to recreate that scene. However, if you want more guidance, the "Breakdown" section uses screen shots to show as best I can what was done and how. Because this photography was done by someone else for an entirely different purpose, the shots are not as tight and you may have to click in to the larger versions to see some of the detail...

Enjoy!

And, as always, thank you--nobles all--for your kind support!

Many of you have reached out to ask what to do to be more comfortably in a box tie (TK, etc) or even to build toward being able to get your elbows closer together. The trick to being able to do any strict arms-behind-the-back tie like that is proper shoulder position and flexibility.

Kathryn of www.yogaforintimacy.com (IG: @yogaforintimacy) joins us to lead us through a yoga routine to improve shoulder flexibility designed specifically for rope enthusiasts who would like to be more comfortable in these challenging ties.

We have shot three mini courses: Shoulders, Core and Hips, here is the first:

Yoga for Shoulder Flexibility (for box ties, elbows, etc.)

I hope it helps!

My best to you all. And, as always, thank you for your support!

Greeting, Gentles All!

We are entering the most wonderful time of the year and what could better than learning a new way to wrap up your present ... and add a bow ...... four of them actually...

Introducing a new tutorial: the Hishi Harness & Tiva Variant!

This tutorial has with 3 elements:

  • The Hishi Chest Harness
  • The Hishi Torso Harness (Extends the Chest Harness)
  • The Tiva Variation that will work on either!

Next up will be updates to the voting page. Many of you have been sending in ideas, but I haven't had time to create the teasers etc to allow for a vote. I will get some of those put together next, and then it's back to more tutorials!

Bed/Mattress Bondage - TheDuchy 2019-11-17T19:03:16+00:00close

There are many very cool positions that you can try with your partner of if you have a number of anchor points around your bed. But what if you don’t have a bed frame that you can tie to? This is a common problem in hotels where they often design their head boards and bed frames explicitly so that nothing can be tied to them! In this case, you may want to create your own anchor points. Here are a few ways to do that!

https://www.theduchy.com/bed-bondage/

I am releasing this one a little out of order (I will do the top vote-getter--Diamond Hishi + Tiva Varient--next), but in the U.S. we have a major holiday coming up and people will be traveling. I wanted to give those of us that might be able to connect with partners in other cites a few new fun options to consider!

I am grateful to all of you for your support; it has allowed me to keep my focus here--on building more and more content. Thank you!

Riffing with Rope to create a Breast Cage - TheDuchy 2019-10-21T23:33:43+00:00close

Hi All!

I have just released two tutorials that demonstrate how you can create your own patterns and ties so you are not -- a'hem -- bound ... to using only the patterns you have learned from others.

The first tutorial, Building Blocks – Junctions, shows the common options you have when two ropes cross each other, which to pick depending on which direction you want your rope to go, and how the various knots are all related...

Then, in the second tutorial, Riffing with Rope (RWR) – Breast Cage, we use that knowledge to create a brand new tie on the fly!

Hopefully these two tutorials will open a new world of creativity for you!

Have a great Halloween/Samhain/harvest festival, everyone!

Greeting, Nobels All!

I just released the first of a set of two tutorials. This one is a simple chest harness that is the progenitor of many other popular tie like the Shinju and the Bikini Harness.

This is the Muneawa. This tutorial includes the core technique (which you will likely recognize), a finishing option that I haven't gone over before, and ways to use up extra rope.

This tie will be the base of the next tutorial which will be about Riffing with Rope, creating your own thing, using a few core building blocks. This next tutorial will be adding a breast cage and nipple ropes to a Munenawa, I don't start with a specific plan, just a goal and use these simple techniques to achieve that goal. All that next time!

I wish you all the very best!

And, as always, thank you for your support!

Hi Jessica,If you have logged in successfully before, try again now. I had to update a plug-in to make patreon work again and that has now been done. So you *should* be good to go! (One thing that i had to do on my test iPhone that I did not need to do on my tests on the computer was to log in twice. I'm not sure why I would need to do that, but it worked for me. I will open a ticket with the company that provides the plug-in to alert them to the potential issue.) This tie make the wearer feel (and be) extremely exposed and vulnerable.

Hi All,

This weekend we released a new Behind-the-Scene tutorial, providing annotations from on Sensi Pearl, a video from Sex&Submission (from Kink.com). This video featured an unusual suspension position that allows for full access, so check it out! (Reminder, this is a BTS tutorial, and does show nudity.)

Also, I just added 5 new potential tutorials to vote on, based on ideas or questions that came from YOU! Images of the new ideas are attached to this post. The next tutorial will be the Tengu (planned for release next weekend), but which will be next? It's up to you! (Don't worry that a couple of them have high numbers...they have been up for voting for awhile. These new ones will soon catch up :)

Have a great week!

The Burlington Bowline - Original & Inline 2019-07-28T19:29:06+00:00close

Hi Everyone! Bonus tutorial time!

Here is a new tutorial for an an amazing single column tie called the Burlington Bowline. This tie was originally invented by Tracker of Innovative Fiber Arts of Vermont (an amazing group!) and is both rock solid & super fast (like 20-30 seconds).

This tutorial shows Tracker's original design and also a variation showing you how to tie it inline ... in the middle of a rope when one end is already anchored.

There are many reasons you might want to have this skill in your back pocket. Two examples I provide in the tutorial are: tying someone with flexibility challenges, or to create a bondage belt.

I released this tutorial off-schedule becuase the next tie you voted for is the Tengu Tie and some of you may want an inline single column technique to use as a varient to the classic technique that I will show in the tutorial.

I hope you enjoy! And, as always, thank you for your support!

Chair Tie - What if you want their legs up? 2019-07-20T20:37:12+00:00close

Hi All,

The latest tutorial has been released!

This tutorial focuses on the application of easy bondage techniques. This time to bind your partner to a chair with their legs up. Depending on their flexibility and how strict (tight) you make the leads, they can still thrash quite a bit, but they can still be quite restricted ... and be quite entertaining as they move...

Chair Tie – Legs-Up

I hope you enjoy!

On the Patreon user experience conversation, we have gotten improvement in how well this is working for many of you, but I know we can do better. I have contacted the people that write the plugin and they seem willing to talk about various options to improve things further. I will keep you apprised as we see how that plays out.

Thank you for your support!

Straitjacket! 2019-07-04T19:56:38+00:00close

Today is Independence Day in the U.S. ...and what better way to celebrate freedom than with bondage!?

Here, as promised is the Straitjacket!

You need to know how to tie a Gote Shibari or TK, including the 3rd-rope stuff before you tackle this one, because at its core that is all it is ... just put on backwards ... and with something to anchor the wrists to the waist or hips. This can be a great option for people with flexibility challenges or just wanting a change of pace.

Enjoy!

Thank you for your support!

Possible Patreon improvement, slipped Somerville Bowline & the Redmayne Strap-on 2019-06-30T15:25:16+00:00close

Hi All,

A few updates:

I installed an upgraded version of the Patreon Plugin and have worked with its author to see why we have been having such trouble with it. We are by no means at the end of our journey--many more improvements need to be made--but it *should* now be better at retaining that you have logged in. (I will put out a survey asking what you are seeing.)

Several of you have asked about the "Slipped" Somerville Bowline. I have added a second half to that tutorial to show you what I mean.

I have added a new tutorial: the Redmayne Strap-on, an attractive, all-rope technique for tying on a dildo with a base. It was not next in the list, but it was consistently being outvoted by other things and I don't think it would ever have made it to the top. There were many people really looking forward to it, though, so I went ahead and produced it. ;)

I had also filmed the material for the rope Straitjacket, and was intending to release that today as well, but I ran into issues during editing and need to re-shoot this. I will get it re-shot and released as quickly as I can, no later than next week-end!

Thank you for your support! More later!

Gauntlets and survey results 2019-06-22T19:18:51+00:00close

Hi All,

I have posted the next tutorial that you voted for, Gauntlets!

Pretty straight-forward, but can be a cool addition to an outfit! ;)\

Also, I have complied your feedback from the survey I posted last time:

  • Overwhelmingly, you told me that how TheDuchy works with Patreon needs attention. Apparently for a good number of you, the login is not persisting, so you need to login over and over. That is not how it is supposed to work, but that is what is happening for some. We also have the longer term issue of it being cumbersome to use.
So I am planning a number of things to tackle these issues:
    >> Firstly, I am going to buy an upgraded version of the Patreon plugin. I frankly don't think this will help, but I am going to try it first because it is something I can do quickly and, if it works, great! I am going to install that update during the upcoming week--probably 6/25--so it doesn't impact potential weekend traffic. This may mean that some of you for which the persistence *has* been working and have not had to log in after your first time, may need to log in again... sorry about that. : (
    >> Secondly, I will have to engage a developer to actually create the real solution for this. To create the code for better integration and to maintain the persistence in my database instead of Patreon's ... and a few other things...
    >> Thirdly, I will look for a payment system in addition to Patreon so that you have a choice. Patreon is working great for some, so we will leave it in place for them, but for those of you that are fed up with it, I hear you and we will work toward a solution.
    >> For items 2 & 3 that require a developer to create, I don't know how long it will take to get running, but we will begin work...
  • The feature that got the second-highest up-votes is actually something that we already have XD:
    >> If you want to sort the tutorials by type (chest, waist, single column, double column, etc...), go to:
    https://www.theduchy.com/tutorials/
    >> If you want to sort by difficulty (easy, intermediate, advanced), go to:
    https://www.theduchy.com/tutorials-by-difficulty/
    >> If you want to sort by which are unlocked at your level (free, 3, 5), go to:
    https://www.theduchy.com/tutorials-by-unlock-cost/
  • The next feature that you asked for was a way to have access to the tutorials when you don't have a good connection. One method for doing that would be to offer the tutorials as pdfs, which, for a variety of reasons, I am not going to do. But another way is to offer an app that will let you download them and still give you access to updates for them, etc. We have been working on an app and are almost ready for a Alpha test. I will make an announcement on this soon, inviting you to participate if you wish!
  • There were plenty of other great suggestions as well that we will work on over time once we get these top ones dealt with!

Thank you all so much for taking the time to let me know what has been bugging you and what we can improve! I very much appreciate it!

And, as always, thank you for your support,

Lazarus

Rope ends & May wrap-up 2019-05-27T16:44:56+00:00close

Greetings, Gentles All!

I have just posed a new tutorial covering a variety of ways of finishing off the ends of your rope. I cover:

  • Simple options like tape or an overhand knot, along with a few reasons you might want to go this route
  • Melting your ends if you have synthetic-fiber rope
  • The Wall Knot and Triple Wall Knot

There are plenty of others, but these are a good start!

Also this month we had The Inescapable, if you missed that :)

This month an update to one of my plugins caused an issue and I am still working out which one it is and what to do about it. As I debug, it may cause another short-term hiccup or two, but I will keep a close eye on it and will instantly restore if the issue resurfaces.

I have also added a new tutorial to the voting queue, the oft-requested Tengu Tie: If you want this one to come up soon, jump in and vote!

Keep it kinky!

And, as always thank you for your support!

Lazarus

I commented on the page as well, but this tutorial is a real life saver (er, rope saver?) for someone like me with lots of cotton rope. Was using tape and square knots before, hoping they didn't come loose in the wash. Now I've been able to put wall knots at the end. Looks great, and I feel safer when using and washing my damn rope. 😋😁

Temporary site trouble 2019-05-23T15:39:18+00:00

Hi All,

One of the plug-ins that I use for TheDuchy had an update that really messed up the site. 🤬

I contacted the support agents for my hosting company and they are working to restore the site from a back up. They tell me they are working on it with priority, but they also say it may take a full day, maybe two, to get things fully working again. ☹️

I apologize that this is happening, but we should hopefully be up and running again shortly.

In the meantime, you can access the Videos for the free tutorials on Vimeo:

Ok it *looks* like it is running correctly again. I’m not going to trust that we’re solid again until I see it run through a full evening into tomorrow (...it seems some job runs late evening US time and that job sometimes trips issues...), but at the moment things are working for me in a variety of tests on a variety of systems.

I'm sure you're already aware, but it seems like there are other issues to the site right now. Whenever I try to go to any of the tutorials restricted to patrons I get a 404 not found error and "The requested URL was not found on the server" statement. The pages I've seen this on include the tiva hishi (which is the tie I specifically wanted to learn and became a patron for), the contact page, the safety page, the core knowledge page, and more. A few of these ties I specifically want to try this weekend so it'll be extremely disappointing if I can't access them by then.

OK. Got it restored from a backup again and it has been stable for the past few hours. I currently suspect that the issue was that I thought it was one plugin when the real culprit was a different plug in. So now I have to go through some work to verify. I may trip over the issue again while debugging, but will restore as soon as I see anything weird. Once I figure it out, I will kill it with fire. >:-(

The Inescapable 2019-05-11T00:42:43+00:00close

There is a type of rope bottom called an “eel” … a person that likes to be tied up, but also really likes to try to escape. And believe it or knot, many common ties are actually quite escapable. Another believe it or not: Most eels are quietly disappointed when they are able to escape. They test their bonds to prove to themselves that they are well and truly caught, and when they are … well … therein lays their deepest pleasure. Not all though, some are just in it for the competition and to see if they can win and escape 😉

This tie, The Inescapable, invented by ESOX of Innovative Fiber Arts of Vermont, is *amazing* at controlling eels. Many thanks to ESOX for introducing this to the world!

On a personal note, when my partner is trying their damnedest to escape and can't, it just flat does it for me--all kinds of hot and happy times ensue... If your hot buttons get pushed that way, too, this is one you should try ;)

Another great--and surprisingly simple--option for controlling eels are the Prusik Cuffs. Check those out as well if you have not already done so ;)

I hope you all enjoy!

And, as always, thank you for your support!

The 'Curves Ahead' TK! 2019-04-21T18:23:29+00:00close

This variation on the Takate Kote or Gote Shibari is great for people who, for whatever reason, would prefer a wider bands around the arms. It prevents those extra cords from getting all bunched up together! When you make the strap(s) wider, you spread the force across a more area and make the harness more comfortable for floor bondage or suspension.

Check out the 'Curves Ahead' TK!

I have had a number of great ideas come in from many of our members over the past few weeks. I am working on getting a few of them shot so we can have another vote with more fun options. I will let you all know when the new options are up!

Thanks to you all!!

I have a few concerns with this tie when it comes to suspension (probably fine for floor ties): 1) The start of the upper kanuki runs over the outside of the lower Kanuki, which when tensioned will load the arms rather than the chest. This line should run inside the lower kanukis (like you would when adding a third rope) to preferentially load the chest wraps. 2) The lack of upper kanukis. While for many omitting the upper kanukis is a personal preference of the bottom, the 'rosette munters' are not a substitute for kanukis; as they do not cinch the upper ties together, and thus do not perform the function of transferring stem load onto the chest wraps, loading the upper stem in a 'face forward' suspension for the tie shown will load the upper arms directly. 3) Lack of stem reinforcement. Whilst the hexagon pattern of munters does provide some support to the wrists, there is nothing the prevent the core of the stem (line from the initial single column around the wrists, up through the core C and X frictions, and out the side of the X to form the first upper wrap) from pulling right through the stem when loaded and distending the tie.

@Psuedonymous. I really appreciate you looking this over and sending your thoughts. I relayed this as it was taught to me and I know that the couple who invented it did routinely use it for suspensions. But you raise some really interesting points; we should be able to update this original to make a version 2 that is even better. I don’t have time to talk in detail at the moment, but I’ll reach out with more complete thoughts in a little while. I look forward to the collaboration! We’ll all work together to make a better, right? :-) In the meantime, I will update the post with a note about use for suspensions until we work out some more details for the updated version.

Drum Harnesses! 2019-03-28T18:03:06+00:00close

Yes, Two!

I have posted an updated version of the classic Drum Harness and have added the "Curves Ahead" Drum Harness as well!

These are attention-getting waist harnesses features a zig-zag pattern that helps distribute pressure across a greater area. They wonderfully accentuate the hips--if your partner has any roll to their hips, these will very much highlight it--and are great for face-up or sideways suspension.

The "curves ahead" version allows you to add arbitrary wraps around the waist to make things even more comfortable!

I hope you all have had a great March!

Thank you, as always, for your support!

I tied this one again yesterday and suspended face up from the waistband. My bottom said it put most of the force/weight in her groin. I added a triangle connecting the thigh bands, and it settled more evenly into the back of the harness. Love this tie.

New Tutorial: BTS - Angelic Suffering 2019-03-23T02:37:17+00:00

This tutorial is in the BTS ("Behind the Scene") section, and this one features nudity, which is not everyone's thing, so I didn't include a picture with this post.

One of our members wrote me this week suggesting that more material showing how the various ties, even simple ones could be used to have a great scene. It was a perfect question! The core tutorials are all about the technique of just doing that particular tie, and while there are a few scene pointers here and there throughout, that isn't what they are about. one of the reasons I set up the BTS section was to answer this very point!

So here is another entry: BTS - Angelic Suffering

In the source video, Madison Scott meats Matt Williams for the first time and they have a wonderful scene building layer on layer to some really cool stuff!

If you have not checked out BTS material before, the "Annotated Picture" section is just a single picture that shows what was done where. If you know all those techniques, that should be all you need to recreate that scene. However, if you want more guidance, the "Detailed Breakdown" section uses screen shots to show as best I can what was done and how. Because this photography was done by someone else for an entirely different purpose, the shots are not as tight and you may have to click in to the larger versions to see some of the detail...

Enjoy!

And, as always, thank you--nobles all--for your kind support!

user avatar
TheDuchy - 24 Mar 19 18:13
You raise a good point! The way this is tied it is mostly around the jaw and lower part of the skull, but it may put pressure on the very upper part of the neck. You would obviously never want to suspend someone with something like this, but even more, you would not want to have it tensioned so much that they are on their toes for more than a few minutes. If they really started straining and more of their body weight came to be on that point instead of being held by their feet, you run the risk of getting the vertebra out of alignment, which might need a trip to a chiropractor to resolve. Many riggers will not play in this manner as they deem it too risky. That is a choice that you and your partner need to make together, understanding both of your limits and capabilities--both in the area of skill and physical capability ...I need to update the tutorial post with this as well.

EM Armbinder Post Withdrawn 2019-02-12T02:19:27+00:00

Hi Folks, Earlier today I posted a new tutorial for the EM Armbinder. I fucked up on this one hard. I learned it from someone I met at a party and based on the name, thought it was a different em that I know that has always been cool with my doing these tutorials. I didn't confirm. #DumbAssMove

Turns out this one was developed by a different -EM- who wishes to retain ownership of it. There are also differences between what I put together and what he teaches that he is concerned about, so I pulled it down.

He is rightfully ticked with me at the moment. I have reached out to discuss, but I had to pull this down. My apologies.

Tutorials ...by topic, difficulty, or unlock cost 2019-01-31T17:10:51+00:00close

The vote on simplifying went down to keeping things as they, but with lots of great suggestions on increasing the transparency. So I have kept things generally the same, but have added a label and a new way to filter your content.

Now, when you go to the "Learn Rope Bondage" dropdown, you will see some new options:

Tutorials
...by Topic

...by Difficulty
...by Unlock Cost

Each page will give you different ways to sort the tutorial library.

I have also added a little icon to tell you the unlock cost for a given tutorial. You will see ③, ⑤, etc. right beside the title.

So hopefully that makes it easier for people!

Thank you all for your votes and your great suggestions!

Best,

Lazarus

I totally understand, man. And I will refund you, no problem. Lets try one more thing though: From what I am reading, this issue occurs during an attempt to update the credentials from Patreon. If you have never successfully gotten in, it may be that those credentials never got set. So if it is not giving you the API error now, try the steps in that link I sent (https://www.theduchy.com/technical-support/#cant-log-in) just to make sure it has had every opportunity to complete the handshake like it should. If it fails after that, I'll swear a lot. I still have my tickets in to the company, but I will totally understand if you want to just stick with the free stuff...

Hi Edward, When you’ve just signed up and are not being let in, it is usually because you are trying to log in to TheDuchy with a *local* account instead of your *Patreon* account -or- you are logging in to the wrong part of Patreon. Patreon’s login page is pretty confusing, and people often log in to the wrong spot. :( Go to this page and try what it suggests. https://www.theduchy.com/technical-support/ It should work, but it if doesn't, let me know. Once you get logged in properly, you shouldn’t need to do so again. Best, - Lazarus

Hi there Lazerus, currently i have the same problem but i cant even get it unlocked. When i open the $5 Tutorials i redirects me to Patreon but when i return to the Site it doesent unlock em , besides that sometimes i get an unknown API Error . Im a but clueless about that because i love all the Tutorials but can see the better ones for now Regards Boris

TheDuchy - 2 Feb 19 15:00
Hi Boris, Please try to login using the method here: https://www.theduchy.com/technical-support/#cant-log-in . That usually solves the issue, but if that doesn't work, reach out again and we can try to figure out what is going on....

User #12641907 - 2 Feb 19 23:08
I have the same problem, and have tried the method, which doesn't resolve it. The problem seems to be an API error, the URL that is returned when it returns me to the post is "https://www.theduchy.com/dragonfly-harness/?patreon_message=patreon_cant_login_api_error&patreon_error=cURLerror28:Operationtimedoutafter5001millisecondswith0bytesreceived", which creates a little textbox on the site with the similar text "Sorry. Login aborted due to an API error. - Patreon returned: cURLerror28:Operationtimedoutafter5000millisecondswith0bytesreceived". This happens in both Chrome and Firefox on a Mac, as well as Firefox on Android. I've tried clearing my cookies and re-logging in, which did nothing. As far as I can tell, this is some kind of server problem. EDIT: There seems to be an update for the Patreon WordPress plugin that claims to fix this problem. Maybe try that? https://wordpress.org/plugins/patreon-connect/#developers
user avatar
TheDuchy - 3 Feb 19 12:16
@Boris & @Sam - Patreon sent us creators a message that Patreon itself has been having some sporadic issues over the past few days and has had to go into maintenance mode a few times. If your attempts to access TheDuchy happened to coincide with them being in maint mode, perhaps that is our issue... The update that Sam pointed out seems to have to do with more gracefully handling things when in maintenance mode. I just installed that update, cleared the server cache, and did a few other things suggested by a different support article. Plus, patreon reports it is now out of maint mode. Give it a shot now.

The January Snowball Effect 2019-01-26T03:01:21+00:00close

O...M...G...

The polar vortex has split and the frozen North has become more frozen, so of course(!) my plans for this month sort of "snowballed" on me.

My original plan for this month was to release tutorials on the Spiral Futomomo and the 3TK. ...But when I started the 3TK, I realized that I really needed to update the 2TK as well. So, I got that done too. ...Then I realized that some people might like to have a really close-up tutorial on X Frictions, Square Frictions (aka Half-Moon Frictions) and L Frictions, as they are all commonly used in the TK. And then I realized that I wanted to show not just one classic version of the 3TK, but three different common variants....

There was a snowball effect is my point....

So, without further ado, here are January's updates!

Enjoy!

As always, my deepest thanks to each and every one of you for your support!

Lazarus

Those are great points and is usually how I work. But in this case, these things all needed to be done anyway and they all supported each other nicely, so the aphorism I went with was “never put off until tomorrow what you can get done today...or this month at any rate”. ;). Have a great one!

I tell myself all the time when I'm instructing, "Keep it simple, stupid." The KISS acronym has kept me in line more often than the most organized lesson plan. Focus on what you want to teach and ignore distractions. Try to carve out a dedicated time during the week to update past lessons and prioritize them versus demand. That way, you can say, "I'll fix that at that time," so it doesn't get in the way of your focused lesson and become a distraction. Thanks for the update and have a great weekend!

While TheDuchy has been around since 2000, 2018 was the first year we have made a go of actively building a community and gathering your support for the project. And what a year it has been! Thousands of people from across the world have joined us to learn and to guide how TheDuchy has grown. As I have said so many times, (and will say many times in the future), I am deeply grateful to every one of you.

So let's have a few more things to wrap up 2018!

  • Here is a full body version of the Hishi Karada. No huge surprises, but in case you hadn't considered trying this, it can be loads of fun to mummify or mermaid your partner like this and tease them semi-unmercifully :)
  • I routinely get questions about the doll I use for most of the tutorials. Either where to get one like her or why I choose to use a doll. So I wrote up a short article on the doll and why all the white!? Those dolls are pretty expensive, so the article also includes other ways you might practice
  • It is time to vote for the next tutorial! The next tutorial will be the 3-rope TK, but I have added a few new options to the queue, so be sure to jump in and cast your up vote for the tutorials you'd like to see after the 3TK.
  • Speaking of voting, we have been using this continuous voting concept for a few weeks now, so I will send out a survey in a few days to gauge how well you all are liking it. With your input and support, we will continue to grow and help each other learn more and more!

My best to you and yours as you launch your new year!

I have all the photography done and video shot, now I just need to do the editing and writing. It turns out though that I needed to redo the base 2TK as well. That version was an older type and things have evolved since then. There is a much more stable version that people are using now. So I shot the material for that as well and plan to release both that and several 3TK options at the same time. Should be within the next week. In the meantime, I have released these: https://www.theduchy.com/frictions/and https://www.theduchy.com/spiral-futomomo/

Hi Everyone!

It has been a really fun month full of new things!

  • We experimented with and released the new Behind the Scene feature, which is a place for us to look at cool ties you find online and deconstruct how they were made!
(For example, the tie above is comprised of the Star Harness, the Hobble/Elbow Tie and the Chain Stitch Corset)
  • I added 3 BTS tutorials: Tight is Tight, FAOB1173, and a member suggestion: the Loop-Chain Harness!
  • Also, based on the Loop-Chain, I added regular tutorials for two Harness, Thigh-highs, and an Evening Dress!
  • I added a new "Like" feature, which will allow me to understand from you which tutorials have been the most helpful and will also help guide how we grow
  • And we have a new way of voting for the next tutorial, also based on the "Like" feature!

In fact, it is almost time for me to pick which tutorial will be next, so jump in and Vote! You can up-vote every tutorial that you want to see. In a few days, I will go see which one has the most votes and go from there! I will be adding more as time goes on and you can vote any time, but I will still remind you to vote every so often in case it has slipped your mind :) There are a few tutorial choices on there this first time that have quite a lead over the others as they were part of the last vote, but as we burn through them, the "likes" approach should give us a good guide!

As always, thanks to all of you for your amazing support!

-Lazarus

Hi TP, We’ve had things like this happen before and been ok. As far as I can tell, I am squarely within the policy for Patreon. In prior “purges“, what seemed to be being cleaned off was NSFW material that was not marked as NSFW. As I have clearly marked my content as such, they have left me alone up to this point. That said, your point is well taken that I do need to have alternative plans in place just in case things go awry or their policy changes... ☹️ Best, Lazarus

Hello to all you wonderful people!

For those of you that celebrate Thanksgiving, I wish you the best of times with the Holiday. For those of you that do not, I wish you the best, too!

We have a new tutorial, and this one lets you do at least 4 different things!

  • Two different harness
  • Thigh-highs
  • An Evening Dress

This was submitted by one of our members as part of our new Behind the Scene feature!

Introducing the Loop-Chain Harness!

You can see sample pictures of this on a person at BTS: Loop-Chain Harness

And get the tutorial on how to do it at Loop-Chain Harness

But that's not all!

This month I have also introduce a feature that will allow you to "like" a post. If you Like something that you have found particularly interesting or helpful, that will help guide me.

Also! I think we might be able to use the new "Like" feature to do voting in a better way. I have updated the voting page to help us test this. My idea is this: When I have an idea that I think will be good on theDuchy--including ideas that you send me as part of BtS--I will put the idea up on this voting page. You can come in any time and upvote an idea. When I am ready to create a new tutorial, I will jump on to the voting page and see which idea has the most likes and begin work on it! I only have a few ideas on there at the moment, but I will add more over the coming weeks.

As always, thank you all for everything that you do to support TheDuchy!

My best to you and yours,

Lazarus

Hi Everyone!

I want to thank each of you that have offered me your support over the past year. You have contributed your money, your ideas, your enthusiasm, and have help spread the word. TheDuchy has grow far more this year than I anticipated and it is all because of you.

Thank you. I deeply appreciate what you have done.

Your support has meant I am able to spend more time building these tutorials and because you are helping shape what I work on next, those tutorials are more relevant to you. That is awesome!

In the United States, this week is the holiday of Thanksgiving, a traditional holiday where we consider all the amazing things in our lives that we are grateful for.

I am grateful for you.

Thank you!

I now have a few friends who are pushing me to explore boundaries and limitations, and especially suspensions, so your evolution over the last 6 months has perfectly matched my needs. New Feature! [[Stealth Release]] 2018-11-11T16:17:50+00:00close

Greetings, Gentles All!

I am working up a new feature for TheDuchy and you get to guide how it works! For the next week, this is available only to you!

The new feature is called "Behind the Scene: (How did they tie that?)"

In it, I will deconstruct a tie that one of our members has sent in. I will break down how the tie was done and provide links to the tutorials that will give you step-by-step instructions so you can do the tie yourself.

One quick word of caution however: I have intentionally designed TheDuchy to be friendlyand relativelynon-threatening (read: not pornographic!)–this allows people who are brand new to these ideas to understand more about them without being assaulted by imagery they may find too intense–but as “How” posts deconstruct a picture or video found on the internet, this section does show skin and does show images that may be considered porn.

Right now I only have only created two samples and they are being offered for a limited time to all members at the $3 level and above. The two samples are laid out differently so you have something to compare and contrast.

I want your feedback! I want to build this new feature out in a way that you all love, so please comment either here or on the posts themselves:

  • Do you like this new feature?
  • Do you like the layout for How-0001 better or How-0002?
  • What do you like about each?
  • Do you have any ideas or suggestions that could make this even better?

Please take a look and let me know!

As always, my gratitude goes out to each and every one of you that is helping me build TheDuchy and bring more high quality sexuality education to the world!

Thank you!!

Lazarus

I liked the layout of 2 better than 1. Do you plan to do any video tutorials for this new section or just the picture tutorials?
user avatar
TheDuchy - 12 Nov 18 14:40
The intention of this section is to help people map what they’re seeing in the picture or video to regular tutorials. So what I have in mind at the moment is that this will mostly be a few pictures helping people understand where a particular technique is being applied and providing a link to that technique in my regular tutorial section. When a picture/video requires a whole new tutorial to talk through how something is being done, I would go create a standard tutorial in the standard section with both video and pictures. That said, from time to time there will no doubt be some element that is difficult to explain with pictures and does not merit an entire separate tutorial. In those cases I may throw in a short reference video for that piece. … At least this is what I’m thinking about right now. We’ll see what’s needed as things evolve

TheDuchy - 14 Nov 18 11:57
One of our members suggested a much better name for this feature! "Behind the Scene" :) Its clear and much more SEO-friendly. Great idea Alexa!!

I prefer the How-002 information layout, but the web layout where expanding one section causes the others to collapse is rather annoying to use in practice.

Hello, you wonderful Kinksters!

I have just released three new tutorials!

  • An update to my tutorial on the classic Hishi Karada (no need to hit this one if you already know how to tie it)
  • The Teshibari, an armbinder inspired by the Hishi Karada
  • The Hishi Te-Shibari, a new invention, also based on the Hishi Karada that laces in the arms as well as the body into one integrated whole. Woot!)

This has been an fun, but very intense summer. I hope you have all been having a blast!

We have just added three more tutorials:

With these, you should now have everything you need to get your partner flying!!!

I am going to take a little break from suspension tutorials, but will be adding more in future. When I pick it back up, I will be adding a chest harness and waist harness that allow for more wraps for people that want or need more support than offered by traditional harnesses.

Next up will be two types of armbinder based on the hishi karada style:

  • The first is one I invented years ago that works like a traditional armbinder
  • The other is a brand new version I worked out based on a request of one of our members. This one is based on a cool anime pic and binds the arms in the armbinder position, but also tightly to the body.

I have the pictures done and now need to shoot the video and edit it all together! These will be super cool!

As always, thank you SO MUCH for your support. It is what makes it possible for me to invest the time to build out more and more content. Your support is adding more and more quality rope bondage training to the world! THANK YOU!

Hangers & Frictions 2018-09-28T23:49:43+00:00close

Hi All,

We are closing in on suspensions! I have just released two new tutorials:

Hangers are methods to quickly attach a suspension support line to a harness. This method works for attaching to any reasonable number of points at the same time. I show how to attach to a single point, 2 pts and 3 pts!

Frictions are methods for attaching suspension support lines to anchor points in a way that will not slip when holding the weight of an entire person. The tutorial show 3 very effective frictions: the Vine, the Chain Stitch Lock and the Munter + Chain Hitch (my favorite!)

With these under our belts our belts, we are just around the corner from our first suspension. I have my partner coming on on 10/3 to do the photo and video shoots for the Swiss Seat and the Basic Seated Suspension. I am going to do everything I can to get those posted with the week after that. And with that, you will have everything you need to start flying!!

We also have an interesting challenge from one of our Barons for next month's non-suspension tutorial: a karada with an armbinder feature. Very interesting! Looking forward to it!

Thank you all for another great month!

August from TheDuchy 2018-08-29T21:47:23+00:00close

Greetings and salutations!

The month of August was insanely busy all around. We released 5 new tutorials:

Wow!

On top of that, we have completed round 1 of alpha testing of the app. It lets you download tutorials for off-line viewing, but will also keep them up to date as I refine them from time to time! We still need to integrate with Patreon so that you can get access to member-only content. Once that is working we will be ready for Beta testing and we will invite our top supporters to help with that.

The next things I am planning to release tutorials on are:

  • Tying on a hitachi
  • A sort of rope strait jacket
  • The Swiss Seat (a good waist harness for suspension)
  • How to manage suspension support lines (this is the last core skills article needed before we start working through actual suspensions)
  • the non-ring version of the Redmayne Strap-on ;)

I do have one question for you all that I will put out a survey on: Would you prefer to get shorter messages about the new tutorials when I publish them or do you like having just one message like this one with a round-up of the month's activities?

I will post that survey shortly.

And finally, I am working to be able to offer some merch. Some logo stuff and some play items like rope and paddles. Everything is still being worked out, but I am excited to be bringing this new feature to TheDuchy!

As always, to all of you: THANK YOU for your support!

I am especially looking forward to the waist harness, and how to better manage suspension support lines. Keep up the good work!

Shinju, Suspension Shinju, Evaluating a Hard Point 2018-08-04T23:44:03+00:00close

O...M...Goodness.

It's been a heck a month. I began the Odyssey of building out material on suspensions and it snowballed. Every time I think through and research a topic, a couple more topics seem to pop up--like an intellectual hydra.

So the list of articles and tutorials that I think need to be built to handle the topic of suspension has been growing. You can keep tabs on my current thoughts and plans in the "Plans" section of:

www.theduchy.com/suspension/

Over the course of July, I added:

  • The Shinju - a classic chest harness that is good for suspensions and avoids the major problem of radial nerve compression that we often see when people use a TK for suspensions
  • The Suspension Shinju - a variation on the classic Shinju that is even better for suspensions. It interweaves the various elements even more so that tension on any of them transmits more evenly to all the others
  • What kind of rope you want for suspension support lines (The answer may surprise you!)
  • And I worked up a massive article on evaluating the hard point itself. This one will take you some time to go through, but the material is super important to understand before you trust your partner's safety to that hard point.
  • I also added a non-suspension tutorial: an update to the Bikini Harness that distributes the knots across that back more effectively so that you can lay your partner on their back more comfortably.

My normal pace for new tutorials is one every 2-3 weeks, so this has been a busy month! But I know interest is high.

August is going to be massively busy for me in my day job/personal life, so I will need to get back to more of a regular pace, but my primary goal for TheDuchy is to keep pushing on the rest of the foundational articles (general suspension safety, the swiss seat, handling your suspension support lines, others). After that, we will get to the tutorials on actual suspensions themselves! Partial suspensions, seated suspensions, etc.

Thank you all so much for your ideas, your questions, and your support!

Have a great August!

It falls like that to provide a greater weave between the points on the lower chest and those same up-down strands running across the upper chest band. Take a look at how the ropes are running as they move away from the sternum and then follow them up and you’ll see that it provides a bit of a weave. It’s not hyper critical however. If you prefer a symmetric approach, there’s no particular issue in doing that (some people even do a slight weave of the shoulder straps through that upper chest strap for that purpose)

Hi Lazarus, I am loving all of this, thanks!! On the two Shinju harnesses, why the assymetry in how the shoulder straps cross the top horizontal run? The one on the left is over/under, but the one on the right is over/over... any specific reason?

Hi All,

Many people have asked if I can provide a version of the tutorials that can be downloaded for offline viewing or printing.

I have created a few PDFs of what I have in mind.

If this is a feature you are interested in, I invite you to go check them out and let me know what you think!

Thanks!

These are essential and great. I'd love them for every tutorial, especially the mobile friendly version. I don't think I'd be printing a lot of these but look at them on my phone regularly, especially when practicing.

Thank you so much, its a great idea, the Patreon login process is clunky, especially on some of my portable devices, this is a fantastic fix for letting us easily access the content we contributed for. Hope to see more converted to pdf.

For some reason the images don't print when it isn't a PDF, so let's keep iterating. :)

And while I'm here a quick note :) I would LOVE to see some harnesses that tie the hands in front of the body or at the sides, and not behind. They are hard to find anywhere but in so many cases would be preferred, especially when there is no suspension... lying on your back for more than a few minutes is very difficult if they're tied behind.

Yes! This would be a great add! I am buried in suspension tutorials right now, but as soon as I wrap that up – pun intended, I guess – I can add a couple of nice options for hands at the side or at the front…

I had hoped for the PDF's. I have a google-doc that I open when I need to check a tie. I have a lot of links to your page in there, but it would be really nice to be able to link to PDF's in stead. I get the patreon login/allow thing a lot of times right now and that gets rather distracting ;-)

UPDATE: Hi All, I have taken the experimental PDF download page down. The problem I was trying to solve was to provide a way to let people access the content when they didn’t have access to the internet. I had a small number of very nice comments on the PDF idea, but I also had some people privately point out how the PDF approach could be pretty problematic. So I’m intending to solve this problem with an app instead of a series of PDFs. We are still in early phases so I don’t yet have a release date, but I’m hoping that it won’t be too long—weeks, not months... The app itself will be free, with access to the same material you have at whatever your Patreon level is... Thanks for bearing with me while we figure all this out! Lazarus

New Tutorial - The Suspension Series Begins! 2018-07-02T22:40:48+00:00close

In this message:

  • Let the Summer of Suspension Begin!
  • Speaking of suspending... suspending voting for the summer
  • Possible new feature: Printing and off-line viewing
  • Shifting to monthly billing instead of by-post

Let the Summer of Suspension Begin!

I have published a new tutorial, the first in a series I have planned for the summer: Suspension and the Munter Hitch

This series is intended to give you all the tools you need to begin doing suspensions.

  1. Attaching the suspension ring to the hard point so you can quickly and gently lower your partner in an emergency. Released today! Link above. :)
  2. Evaluating a hard point (and perhaps building one...)
  3. The Shinju chest harness
  4. The Swiss Seat
  5. Your first suspension – simple seated suspension (uses all of the above and adds how to manage and secure your down lines)
  6. The chest loading TK
  7. A drum harness with extra wraps so it is more comfortable for larger body types
  8. Your second suspension – a horizontal suspension that can be prone, supine or on the side, using the above.

Speaking of suspending... suspending voting for the summer

Producing all of the above in the next few months is going to take time and focus. And I am sure that many of you are going to be wanting the next tutorial as soon as you can get it. So I am going to temporarily suspend voting for the summer and just work on these.

But by all means keep your ideas and requests coming! As soon as I finish this list, we will resume the voting!

Possible new feature: Printing and off-line viewing

I am also considering adding a new feature, but it will require quite a bit of work, so I'd love your feedback on whether this is worth doing.

A number of people have asked if I can provide a version of the tutorials that can be downloaded to be viewed offline or printed so they are easier to use when internet access is unavailable.

I am considering nicely formatted pdf versions of each tutorial in two sizes: one suitable for printing, and one sized to fit nicely on a phone with just one step per page, easily navigated.

Is this something you would like to see me offer? It will require extra work to produce, so I would probably make it available at the $10 level.

If you have an opinion, for or against, or if you have a better idea on the form of the documents, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Shift in billing policy

This should not impact any of you, but I wanted to give you a heads-up on it.

I am planning to shift how Patreon does its billing. I can have it bill either when I publish something (like it does now) or on a monthly basis. I'm planning to shift to the monthly option to solve a couple of problems I am seeing, but as I have usually only been posting one "charged" post each month regardless of how many new tutorials I post, this shouldn't impact you as a patron in good standing.

As always, THANK YOU for your support!

Lazarus

Updated Hojo Instructions 2018-06-17T02:51:29+00:00close

Hi All!

I just updated the instruction for the real version of Hojojitsu Ittatsu-ryu and instruction for create a rope designed for Hojo.

This is a technique that can have your partner tied up and helpless in -- no joke -- 60 seconds or less.

The updated instructions make it *much* more clear how to do the Hojo tie. Which hand to use for which part, etc. I will get a video up on this eventually, but this should be much more helpful until I do :)

Enjoy!

Have you ever tried to incorporate a person's hair into a rope bondage scene and found it almost impossible? You aren't the only one!

This new tutorial shows you 2 ways to do so (and mentions a third)! :)

The idea for using a Prusik Knot for a hair tie came from a fan on Fetlife after I posted my recent tutorial on Prusik knots. It's my favorite knot and I hadn't ever considered using it this way, so big shout out to New Haven's Jeffery! Great idea, man!

Gravity Boot Single Column 2018-05-18T21:06:30+00:00close

Hi All!

As promised. I just posted a new tutorial!

The Gravity Boot- Style Single Column is a fast and stylish way to tie your partners ankles to an anchor (…perhaps bed posts…). With this tie, the tension can be added in line with the leg, out the sole of your partner's foot, and that tension will be felt evenly around the foot and ankle instead of digging in to one side as is the case with most other single column ties. This version is faster than the real Gravity Boot, but it is not suitable for suspension.

Check it out at Gravity Boot Single Column

I'd love to hear your comments! Tell your friends!

Best,

Lazarus

I dug in to this more deeply with my hosting provider and it turns out that when they upgraded my server, they didn't clean up DNS, so there were two records for my site, one pointing at the new server and one pointing at the old server. Which pretty much confused the hell out of people's web browsers. #infuriating It looks like that issue is now resolved. You should be getting clean access to things now.

Hi All, It looks like we got our site stability issues worked out AND I just posted a new tutorial!

This one is Patron-Only, for Knight-level and above, chosen by YOU in the last vote!

The Kikkou Karada is a variation on the Hishi Karada. Instead of a diamond pattern, this one features a hexagon pattern. The cords that go between the legs with this version are spaced somewhat apart, so it works well for male body types and it also allows for sex without taking it off :)

Check it out at Kikkou Karada, where you will find detailed step-by-step instructions with pictures in addition to the video. We all learn differently, so pick your preference!

I'd love to hear your comments!

Best,

Lazarus

Hi All,

Several of you contacted me to let me know that TheDuchy has be misbehaving recently. Some of you have not been able to get to the content. Not good.

I talked with my web hosting company and it seems that it has been periodically running up against a technical limitation. This is basically happening because we have grown so much in the past few months, so thank you! But I really wish my hosting company had let me know this threshold was being reached so I didn't have to find out from my patrons that the site was having trouble. That totally uncool.

To get this fixed, I am having TheDuchy moved to a pro-level server with better capabilities and have upped my service account with the hosting company.

They swear blind this will resolve the issue. But it may take a day or two to get done. So please bear with me for the next couple of days while they do their thing and hopefully get this fixed.

Rest assured that I will not be posting any more charged content until we get this resolved.

Thank you for letting me know this was happening so I could work to get it fixed!

I hope you have a good weekend!

Lazarus

Update 5/8 - Hi all, update on this: after a deeply frustrating set of days with my hosting provider, including going through 2 upgrades already, we *still* don't have this fixed. I am more than a little pissed. They are now recommending I move to a dedicated server, which removed all rate limits that exist at the other tiers. So this issue continues. I am deeply sorry. I am working it as aggressively as I can. Once we have satisfaction, I will be sure to let you all know. To make my apologies more tangible (something my host company is NOT doing btw), I am not going to charge for any posts this month. I will get two new tutorials out (the Kikkou Karada and one other, but will not charge for either.

The site is working for most people most of the time. But it is not stable as it should be and is failing for some people. Try to load the page; it *should* work. But if it doesn’t, wait a few minutes and try to load it again. I am terribly sorry about this. :(

Now that I am sure that we are up again I will get the Kikkou Karada posted in the few days and then create a tutorial on the gravity boot single column before the end of the month. It has a more interesting look on the foot than other single columns , and feels amazing when struggled against! There will be no charges for postings put up this month.

Update 5/9 - OK, we might now have light at the end of the tunnel. After several recommendations that we tried and that failed to resolve the issue, they are setting us up on a dedicated server so that we don't have the technical limits that have been plaguing us. They are actively working it, but they have asked us to bear with them for another 24-48 hours. Fingers crossed that this fully resolves the issue and gives us some elasticity to grow when we need.

TheDuchy - 10 May 18 12:30
Update 5/10 - I *think* that we have things running properly again! The third upgrade has been completed and I have done some testing. Things look to finally be running the way they should. So when you have the time, check out a tutorial or two that you have been wanting to try. Let's get some load on the site again and make sure it will stay stable. Thank you all very much for baring with me through this.

Dude, I really appreciate that. I am seriously thinking about my options here. I am livid about the lack of focus/responsiveness of the hosting company on this. On the other hand, I have been with them for 15 years and this is the first issue i have had. So I want to give them this one more chance...
