Hello! Thank you for using yiff.party!

We hope you enjoy using it. yiff.party operates on a non-profit basis, and as such, all the server expenses are paid by our users. We don't want to run ads or infect you with crypto miners. We depend on users like you to keep the site running, and to preserve years and terabytes of amazing content—some of which is no longer available from its original creators!

Because of the nature of the site, many users are reluctant to donate. That's OK! yiff.party was created so everyone can enjoy the content we host without any restrictions or paywalls. But if you value the service we provide, and are able to, we—and our users—would be tremendously grateful if you considered making a donation.

Donation progress for October 2020

So far, approximately $400.00 has been raised out of our target of $400.00. We're about 100% of the way there! Please note: this tracker is updated manually—don't worry if your donation doesn't show up immediately!

yiff.party's server costs are due on the last day of each month. So, we need to meet this goal before 31 October!

How to donate?

At this time, yiff.party can only accept donations in numerous cryptocurrencies. Please select a currency below to display the relevant donation address.

Bitcoin (BTC)
Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
Ethereum (ETH)
Ethereum Classic (ETC)
Litecoin (LTC)
Why can't I donate through other means (eg. PayPal)?

Due to the nature of sites like yiff.party, it is very difficult to find payment processors who will accept clients like us. If we were to accept donations via PayPal, it wouldn't take more than a day for someone to submit an abuse report and get our account frozen. Until a viable way of accepting monetary donations becomes available, cryptocurrency will remain the only option.

There are many resources available on how to purchase crypto. For Bitcoin, check out bitcoin.org's page on buying Bitcoin for a list of methods. For beginner Bitcoin users, yiff.party recommends using an escrow service such as LocalBitcoins.

Lol you probably can’t tell now but if you catch a hint of Batman similarities it’s done intentionally.....you just wouldn’t know if you never seen anything Batman related.....especially because Oliver believes he’s the original vigilante.....it’s cool and petty as well lol

I love how you're guessing all of those unanswered questions - it's a lot of fun. Season 2 really was peak Arrow, the show just got so extremely good. I can't wait for the rest of it :)

you probably didn’t realize it but the flashbacks in this episode shows as “5 Years Ago” which can be confusing if you’re following the timeline. the way it’s confusing is because 5 years ago Rumple was in Storybrooke, but he was cursed, right? so how is he in the Dark One Vault 5 years ago too? so just so you understand the timeline: • the flashbacks in this episode that state “5 Years Ago” take place ONE YEAR LATER • Lancelot marries Snow and Charming while Charming’s mother is dying from being shot with an arrow TWO YEARS LATER • Regina casts her Dark Curse *Regina’s curse not only freezes time in Storybrooke or the Enchanted Forest, but also freezes time in Camelot (for 28 years) [so the flashbacks in this episode FEEL like it was 5 years ago for those in Camelot]* TWO YEARS LATER • The events in Camelot (which is 6 weeks ago from Present Time Storybrooke) take place. So 2+2+1=5 years; excluding the 28 years the Camelot residents don’t recall. Hope this helps! Until the next episode!

The Broken Kingdom- Thank you so much for this reaction! I really love this episode for the most part. I love that this episode brings a twist to the King Arthur Legends as it delves further into Merlin's prophecy meant for Arthur. As I'm sure you expect from me, my favorite moments throughout this episode are those between Killian and Emma. While I appreciate the twist on the Arthurian Legends, I was still trying to get used to the idea that Arthur was a villain back when I saw this episode for the first time back when it first aired, and even though I've long since gotten used to Arthur as a villain and even like it in some ways, a number of other scenes outshine those that focus on Arthur and Guinevere. In answer to your question about the timeline... the caption says that this storyline, and therefore this moment between them and Rumplestiltskin, is set five years earlier. However, it couldn't have been if you think about the timeline logically, because Rumplestiltskin was still cursed in Storybrooke five years earlier. And therefore... he couldn't have been in Camelot, or in the Enchanted Forest then. Which is why I suspect that this caption means this timeline takes place five years before Regina casts the original dark curse over everyone. This is the only way the timeline makes any sense. Overall... I give this episode an 8 because of the Guinevere/Lancelot storyline, while I love everything else about it. Until next time, my friend...

Everyone says they dont like the second season. I think it is pretty great a few slow spots but otherwise awesome. I hate hearing people say they hat heroes after season 1. its because thing don't go the way they want so they throw trash on it. Anyway I really hope you guys continue cause its worth the watch.

Heroes is a very story driven show so if you're mostly looking for action and fight scenes, you'll probably be disappointed most of the time. I do hope you check out season 2 as I have been enjoying your reactions for the most part and season 2 continues on with these characters.

In this episode, Anna explained that Jeremy can see/hear her when Jeremy thinks about her. In the season finale, Jeremy was researching death and coming back from the dead experiences, which can be a reason why both Anna and Vicki are on his mind- being vampires and all. At least that’s my fan theory.
user avatar
User #37413291 - 21 Oct 20 06:01
You might change your mind about (Ni)klaus. Or maybe not but The Originals is better than TVD either way. Anna was trying to talk to Jeremy after he heard her the first time and couldn't get through to him so that's what she meant. And you're so right about them killing off the witches so easily and of course they're black too which doesn't help. Even Bonnie's been missing until this episode. Hmm. Next episode is my favourite!

Damon did look for the ring before he killed Ric. He looked down at the hand Ric had on his chest and said, "Your temporary funeral." I always hate when they expect Damon to be like Stefan or Caroline. He's Damon. Either like him for who he is, problematic asshole and all, or just don't. Stop expecting him to change for anyone besides himself.
user avatar
User #10867301 - 21 Oct 20 13:51
Honestly I though it was pretty funny when Damon said "your temporary funeral". Yes he killed Rick and it probably hurt for a sec but that is literally it. He knew hed come back so killing him isnt really horrible. Or is it just me who thinks that 😂?

You'll get to know more about the characters that will go on to The Originals show, then you will decide for yourself of course... All I will say to maybe help you look forward to what's coming is that as you can probably tell by now is a pretty wide spread opinion that the originals are one of (if not) the most complex and better characters in this "TDVUniverse" and the spin-off is in many ways better than this one or just as good

I wouldn't say The Originals make klaus good per say but it's more of an explanation of why he is the way he is. And they show the layers there is to him. They will get more into their origins don't worry. That's all I'm gonna say cause spoilers
user avatar
User #13560629 - 21 Oct 20 06:00
The story telling is phenomenal and the peeling back of layers klaus's psyche is masterful. I really do hope he watches it but if he doesn't then to each his own

Ohhh for sure me to.....I think with The Original they excel with quality over quantity and the story telling may be slightly superior compared to tvd

Chris is such a twat. I loved the flashbacks and the Emily/Lorelai scenes. Also that Luke/Jess scene always makes me laugh.
user avatar
User #10867301 - 21 Oct 20 03:08
To the Lorelai and parents relationship and the purpose of the flashbacks: Lorelai is independent and wants her own life (completely understandable) and her parents push a different life on her. They are seen trying to control her future without wven asking her, Id have a problem with that too. If I had parents like Lorelai I dont know if Id call them if I went into labour either, its an extremely stressful situation and as you can see the parents didnt really male it better. If she didnt wamt them around I think thats her choice. Though I can see how it would be hurtful for Emily. As to the backpacking trip plans: Lorelai was saying that Chris shouldnt give up his future and his plans (the backpacking trip was more his plan anyway) for her and their kid. She wanted to take care of the kid alone (again, completely understandable) so she refused to marry him and told him he had no obligation to not stand in the way of his future. If you ask me a selfless thing to do, though I feel like sometimes she should have considered Rory a little more. But Rory seemed to be very happy with her childhood so I guess it all worked out and I can only applaud Lorelai for the job she did. The last flashback: through the distance and time Emily and Lorelai managaed to achieve something like a working relationship (at least from time to time) so maybe a step in the right direction after all the hurt and accusations from the past and maybe just a validation for Lorelais decision to leave. Moral of the episode if you ask me: parents respect you children, it is their live, you just get to guide them for some time. Or: the tragady of vastly different parents and children.
user avatar
User #10724455 - 21 Oct 20 07:27
I think Lorelai is a hypocrite, she resented Emily and Richard for trying make decisions for her but then she turns around and pushes Christopher away basically telling him how to live his life. It wasn't selfless, it was selfish because she only considered her own needs, if she didn't want to marry Christopher that's one thing but she basically told him to not bother ... but I admit I never liked Lorelai, she's an entitled, self-centered woman who despite claiming she doesn't need her parents has no problems taking their money when it suits her. In the pilot she acted like it was a huge sacrifice but it's not like Rory was dieing, objectively going to a private school isn't important. Lorelai also has no problem telling Rory she's going to the posh private school wether she likes it or not which is also a very Emily thing to do. Lorelai is pretty elitist even if she doesn't like to admit it, she likes the people in Stars Hollow but does she want Rory to become one of them, spending her life there? No way, Rory is meant for bigger things and Lorelai will invest a lot of her parent's money into ensuring Rory gets the life Lorelai wants.
user avatar
User #3759600 - 21 Oct 20 10:02
While i think that Lorelai has way more negative traits that people give her credit for, i also have to disagree on the school issue, the difference between going to a local highschool in a miniscule town like Stars Hollow and a private school is not small and a person as bright a Rory deserves to explore her potential and while Lorelai definitely pushed her a lot towards it i also think it was the right choice for Rory and her future and i don't feel she was a Hypocrite in that specific situation for going to her parents (as she was in many others).
user avatar
User #10867301 - 21 Oct 20 10:58
I dont see how Lorelai is a hypocrite for taking the money for her daughters future, she doesnt want to be dependent on her parents (Very reasonable, especially considering how manipulative and demanding her parents can be) but shell put that asside to give rory a chance at harvard. Not a hypocrite, selfless. As to Chris: she didnt wanne marry him but he could see rory whenever he wanted thats about as selfless as it gets. Yes she told him he didnt have any responsibility and he was free to do whatever he wants. She gave him the choice of how involved he wanted to be, how exactly does that make her a hypocrite? Plus lets not forget, Lorelai was 16. Shes a teenager. I admire her for her independence and her good sense to get Rory out of there and let Chris of the hook. She was really mature for thst age. And even if she isnt always perfect she is often shown with many admirable qualities and I really like her as a character. Yes, she is a hypocrite from time to time but who isnt? She isnt a bad or stupid or vindictive person. This episode alone: she put her own feelings aside to help Rory and Cherry and not spoil the day for Chris.
user avatar
User #7718564 - 21 Oct 20 09:48
I think this episode wanted to show that even though Lorelai needed to leave her parents in the past to find her own path, she never intentionally wanted to hurt them. She wants a good relationship with her mother now, she wants to fight for that now, because she sees how hurt she must've been when she left her. Also it showcases imo that Christopher never really understood Lorelai - as you said he was always a pushover. He didn't mind doing things the traditional route to keep the peace, but Lorelai needed her independence so bad, she couldn't live her life like her parents. And even though she doesn't regret her choice to leave back then, she realized the impact it had on her parents and how they in their mind just wanted what's best for her.

What I love about this episode is that looking back at the entire season you notice Cass being all shady and keeping info from the boys. Everything makes sense and I feel like if you weren't looking for the clues you'd definitely miss it which is why I was impressed with your reactions to the season so far. No one wants to believe Cass is doing shady stuff with Crowley, but he is in a desperate situation and I'm glad you put that together. You're the first reactor who wasn't totally upset they offed the Mother and I was going to say that she was essentially used as a distraction from what was really going on in the background. Can't wait for you to finish the season, it finishes really strong imo

Season 5 has a lot of ups and downs, this is a down, I think the Iris break up was just a quick and dirty way to get rid of her and not leave it open form last season what happened to her. She was not a fan favorite and because they where not sure at the start of filming if they where going to get canceled or not I think they didn't have a long term plan for her, so they just wanted to officially show her going away and move on.
user avatar
User #5742411 - 21 Oct 20 03:22
John broke up with her because of what Stanton had said. Remember that scene about Stanton and Reese discovering the money stashed Duncan's suitcase? It isn't Machine's flashback, it is Reese remembering that conversation. A conversation about how they are as good as they are because they have nothing and nobody to fall back to. You see the parallels?

This show gets better and better, especially bc as in this episode they dig deeper into the characters. Harvey is a very charming, cool, ambitious lawyer - but that's the only side he wants others to see. What you've seen so far that goes beyond that is that Harvey is very big on loyalty. So for Cameron to betray him like that stings A LOT.

One thing about this show that makes it great are how different all the characters are and the character development is great as well......and yes this is a procedural show but later on the show does a good job on focusing more on the arcs while still going case by case

Sympathy For the Goddess- Thank you for another fun reaction! I enjoy this episode. However, I have to admit this episode is probably one of my least favorite episodes of this season, if not throughout the entire show as well. It's still enjoyable, but there are some ideas throughout this episode that I just don't really care all that much for. But with that being said... the last five to ten minutes showing the final two scenes are amazing, and they are easily the two best scenes throughout this episode. Overall... I give this episode a low 8.

And in answer to your question about whether or not Lucifer is the only celestial being capable of igniting and wielding the flaming sword... Lucifer is the Lightbringer, which is what Lucifer means in Latin. This is why he is the only one who can wield the blade's power. This was established back in the previous episode... Season 7 was designed to be a series of one hitter stories that’s why it feels like a special

User #11999628 - 18 Oct 20 12:32
Rory was a robot (nestene duplicate) until the Doctor reset the universe at which point time was reset and the whole thing with Rory becoming plastic never happened - however, because of timey wimey stuff and Rory's proximity to the centre of the explosion he can remember that other life (as can Amy, River and the Doctor) - so as he explained to the Doctor back in ep 2 of s6, it's like a door in his head that he can remember that other life, but mostly he doesn't. Similarly, when River visits Amy in the garden at the end of S6 and tells her the Doctor isn't dead, Amy is troubled by her actions in 'an aborted timeline that never happened' because she can remember killing Madame Kovarian

I’ve always had mixed feelings about this episode, but have come to appreciate it more upon rewatch. It does feel like a special because of the way it’s set up. My initial issue with this episode is that the doctor really didn’t do anything about an entire Dalek parliament that will most likely cause destruction in the future. I know he had no reason to, because they didn’t remember him and he was outnumbered, but he didn’t seem concerned at all. It seemed very out of character for him not to even address it. Regardless of that, it’s still enjoyable and the Oswin twist is amazing.

great reaction, I love this episode, even though I called it early in the episode the Oswin Oswald Dalek twist was brilliant and her character was wonderful, also the reason The Doctor didn't put his bracelet on Amy right away because he wanted her to focus on Love so her and Rory would talk and get back together

I don't know, I never understood why Gauis being with a Six before the attack had any importance at all. That Six was on Caprica, so I'm sure she was with a lot of people, as were who knows how many other Cylons...I mean, from what we've seen of Gauis, he was a womanizer, so he could just pretend that he didn't remember her. Not to mention, we are talking about the memories of a woman who was taking a medication which causes hallucinations....memories which don't prove anything illegal, or treasonous even if they were accepted as fact...and no fair court would ever accept them as fact.

User #6065049 - 18 Oct 20 17:01
Baltar has an ego. He was expecting parise, not criticism. He's a narcisist and they need people to see them as perfect. See how he's excited to read her praise and then crumbles when he doesn't get it.
user avatar
User #14974192 - 19 Oct 20 13:48
Gaius gave the sympathizers the nuke. I so thought you would put that together since they flashed back to that conversation earlier in the episode so things are getting heavier going forward. Such a well made drama
user avatar
User #8142035 - 18 Oct 20 05:12
Gaius gave Pegasus Six the nuclear warhead that he got from Adama at the beginning of the show. As for Roslin, just as she’s Had prophetic dreams in the past, her memory has sharpened and she remembers seeing Gaius with Six. I think that’s all you need to know right now. Also, the Six that disappeared has not been seen since. The Six from Pegasus has only been in contact with the fleet since we met her in the last story arc.
user avatar
User #22336828 - 18 Oct 20 14:12
In regards to Roslin's memory of Gaius and Six, just think about the implications of that. If it's known that he knew a Six copy before the attack then why wouldn't he have said something when the other copy appeared on Galatica in the first season to accuse him of treason. He claimed to have never known or seen her before. Those two Six copies are separate. The one we have now was aboard the Pegasus since probably before the attack.
user avatar
User #34618001 - 20 Oct 20 06:20
Yes, the Six from Season 1 ("Shelly Godfrey") was deemed a Cylon by the end of that episode, so Roslin knows what Six looks like. She now also remembers seeing Baltar making out with one right before the attack on the Colonies. And don't forget, the reason the Cylons were able to carry out their attack in the first place is because of their access to the defense mainframe...which Baltar had (and gave to them, which was straight-up treason). So Baltar not knowing Six was a Cylon at the time is kind of irrelevant with Roslin putting these pieces together. It makes him look like he's been a Cylon collaborator from the start.

I think Ryan yelling at Marissa he’s finally getting pent up stuff from their relationship out, but it was the wrong time to do it. He’s also running from his relationship with her straight to Lindsey. he bounces from wanting to be back with Marissa when he gets back from Chino to then dating Lindsey and feeling “so strongly” about her which I don’t buy. he’s almost just trying to throw the problems in her face let’s just blame marissa but I think Lindsay is capable of making her own choices and you don’t get to blame other people for drinking. Lindsay is able to choose whether or not she wants to do something so I don’t think that’s necessarily fair. I so agree with you on Marissa having too many story lines and giving all of this tragic drama to her. I get that she supposed to be written as the teen angst nobody understands me girl but they could’ve spread the drama out to other people as well I feel like nothing happens to Seth and summer up to now and everything happens to Ryan and Marissa and it’s a lot! But hey it’s a teen drama from the 2000s! Also I’m not a Lindsay or Alex lover that’s even a stretch I really really don’t like Lindsey and I could really do without Alex so you can imagine some of these episodes for me I’m just a 6 or 7 on most of them. which is crazy because I am an OC super fan

User #2492032 - 16 Oct 20 11:22
Summer may look like she's just wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but hey, they're designer. There's a difference there 🙈
user avatar
User #2492032 - 16 Oct 20 11:52
Marissa is a lot taller than Summer, like 7 inches. But she is skinnier. And she's a bit taller than Ryan.
user avatar
User #2492032 - 16 Oct 20 11:54
Alex kissed a guy and a girl in front of Seth, and he immediately told Ryan and made a deal out of it. They should've guessed the ex could be a girl.
user avatar
User #29636417 - 17 Oct 20 00:06
I never understood the obssession this show has with Marissa's looks, she is too skinny and imo only pretty in season 1. Lindsay's insecurities about Marissa just make her character more annoying than it already is tbh, if she cant stand to be around Marissa then she should either tell Ryan or break up, but she has no voice and lets Ryan get her into all these uncomfortable situations, its so stupid. And it is SO weird that Marissa has 3 pictures framed on her dresser and all 3 are romantic ones with Ryan. I'd be pissed.
user avatar
User #31842578 - 19 Oct 20 03:13
Would foi consider reacting to one three Hill someday? I would love to see that ;)
user avatar
User #2492032 - 16 Oct 20 11:16
Lindsay's insecurities are not only because of Marissa's good looks, but also her social status, wealthy family and designer clothes. That's why she's the Cosmo Girl in Lindsay's eyes AND she's Ryan's ex. I would honestly feel a bit intimidated too, even though I know those things don't matter and I'm 10 years older than Lindsay.
user avatar
User #22778496 - 16 Oct 20 17:53
In defense of Seth, Alex did play on a lot of his insecurities. I understand why he acted the way he did, even though I do think he was over the top. Plus Alex never really did break up with the Jodi girl and moves on immediately which sucks. I am though 100% on Marissa's side on this one. Lindsey is a big girl and she decided to drink even though Marissa said she doesn't judge people who don't drink. Marissa is not her keeper and she can't really tell anyone to not drink when she does so heavily, so yeah, none of this is her fault. Ryan is a jackass this episode. But Zach not. I mean Summer didn't even talk about what was bothering her and instead she blew him off and hanging out with HIS TEAMMATE on her girl's night out. Summer definitely has the biggest share of the fault when concerning Zach.. So Zach is most definitely not a jackass in this episode.

Another possible theory is that the bottles exploding was a hallucination to terrify her. You were right. A lot of things are being set up in the first couple of episodes. Things are starting to get really good. They will explain all your questions this season especially Lydia. Also Scott was pulled out of school so he never was nearby the twin alphas. That is why he didnt sense them.

What a great episode! I loved the whole Derek, Issac, Peter scene and Derek telling Peter straight to his face that nobody likes him. It was so funny! Plus, the coach is back in the classroom. Any scene with the coach is hysterical. He is such a great comedian. It's about time that Scott took his schoolwork more seriously though. The whole Ice in the tub scene made me cringe. Having to take cold showers is bad enough, but putting Ice in there as well? No thank you! Stiles may not have an actual superpower, but when you're that good at figuring things out do you really need one? Stiles is definitely the detective of the group. The ending was great also. The introduction to the awesomeness that will become Lydia! Or, I should say the even more awesomeness that is Lydia!

You just found out Marin seems related to Deucalion, another thing I don't know if you remember in the episode where Allison's mom gets bitten, the scene before we see Marin who asks Deaton if "he is going to tell them what is coming" he answers her that for the moment they have enough problems to solve, he was talking about the fact that the alpha pack was coming and as we see, Marin is the best place for talk about it because she seems to know Deucalion. I really like the start of the season, Stiles always makes me laugh, Derek who discovers that his younger sister is still alive is an interesting story line to exploit, now they have two lions escaping into the wild remains to be seen what they will do there ... As for the last scene with Lydia, it's like clues, a piece of the puzzle because if you look at it this way you don't understand but if you put together the old clues about what she is and the new ones to come you will soon be able to put in place all the pieces of the puzzle and have an overview, solve this mystery.

My absolute favorite parts of this episode are when Issac is terrified in the ice bath he grabs on to Scott for help and the one inch punch Derrick does to Stiles. Dylan is so great at those comedic reactions.

Lindsey to me is humanity at its weakest we all have the potential of good and evil, plus to a certain extent we are both. what truly separates the good from the bad... the feeling of guilt? I think Buffy is about the trials of adolescence while angel is about the struggles of adulthood

I think that both Cordy and Wesley have had so much growth since they both started on Buffy. Charisma Carpenter is so good. As for Lindsay, I like when we get to see the inter workings of wolfram and Hart. I like both Lindsay and Lilah as characters. Heck Lindsay is in the pilot episode the show. So he’s been around this whole time. I guess he’s been so back and forth though that they needed to either make him really evil or have him walk away and the writers chose the latter.
user avatar
User #9426806 - 16 Oct 20 05:51
Really enjoyed this reaction Steven. Christian Kane is a legit country singer irl and I love that scene in Caritas. It's funny comparing Cordelia now to who she was in the first season of Buffy, she has grown so much. Charisma Carpenter is incredible in the role. I guess we'll see what the final episodes of the season hold in store for AI because you're right, what's next?

Yeah, you could just tell that Pam was realizing how little her job actually meant to her. She spent 4+ hours just learning how to set up the printer, just to have people brush it off like it was no big deal. They did a good job of giving hints that she was thinking of changing things up. And I think Charles is just much more Corporate minded than this branch is. He's used to people just showing up and doing their jobs, but that's not really how this branch rolls. Haha. Plus he's never liked Jim, so to see him wasting time by talking to Michael who was about to leave made him upset.
user avatar
User #22778496 - 16 Oct 20 15:01
mm I don't know. I think Charles is (in my opinion) meant to represent everything that is wrong with corporate (the concept). I mean I work in a corporate office and the CEO works on the same floor as the regular folks and he is very approachable. Plus the grudge against Jim bothered me, I mean the first day, yes, but after that it is ridiculous what happens. Also because it's not a personal thing (Jim didn't do anything to offend Charles personally) which is why I find it over the top.
user avatar
User #24619711 - 16 Oct 20 18:55
I get what you’re saying. I just meant, in general, corporate minded people can be a lot more strict and off putting especially in an environment as Dunder Mifflin in Scranton PA, especially coming from New York. Haha. I just don’t know that he’s meant to come off as an antagonist that’s meant to destroy the company’s morale. But I definitely agree that the grudge with Jim is ridiculous. You’d think he’d have plenty of time to actually get to know him by now, so it’s weird how quick he is to ask “did you also put in your two weeks?”

I like how Steven really can't see why Charles wouldn't want to promote someone from within--have you seen the clown show that is Dunder Mifflin Scranton? Who could run the branch, Jim? Charles hates Jim and sees him for the clown that he is. Dwight? Everyone hates Dwight and it wouldn't work for longer than an episode. Who else? I'll wait for Steven's suggestions because there are none lol

While I dont like Bob and Midge I like that they show a family going through a hard time in their marriage. I like that the show gives us different takes on families. Bob and Midge the family that looks like they are headed towards divorce, Hyde's parents that just fucked off, Jackie's rich/well off family that just buy love, Fez's Host family that we saw once, Don't remember if we've seen Kelso's family, And then Eric's family not perfect but they love him and each other. I dont think i would like the show as much if we just had the Forman family. Seeing the differences make me like Red and Kitty more. Plus it makes it more real. And I like that. I'm glad your enjoying watching. Would you be willing at the end of each season rank the characters, and maybe say why a character has moved up or down in your liking? it doesnt have to be a different video. you did a ranking once in season one and i'm interested if people have changed in you mind.

By the way, if you want to see Adam Scott in another role where he isn't playing a douche you should watch Party Down. It's only 2 seasons but it's great. It has Lizzy Caplan and Megan Mullaly who plays Tammy 2 in P&R.
user avatar
User #39271825 - 14 Oct 20 10:37
He also plays a nuanced “nice guy” character in Big Little Lies.
user avatar
User #41887063 - 14 Oct 20 14:36
Agreed about Party Down, a fun little show. Adam Scott is actually the lead role in that, and the character has a bit of similarity to Ben -- everyone remembers him for being on a famous commercial when he was a kid, but now he's just another struggling actor working for a catering company to make ends meet. It's probably too niche a show to do Reactions for, but you might enjoy watching it for your own fun.

User #10976099 - 14 Oct 20 09:31
It depends on the city's laws how old one must be to be mayor. It actually happened in real life a few years before the show. Michael Sessions became mayor of Hillsdale Michigan in 2005. Ben Wyatt is partly based on this story, considering they both were mayors of small Midwest towns. Sessions didn't resign in disgrace though, he simply didn't seek reelection and never moved on in politics.
user avatar
User #36766898 - 16 Oct 20 20:03
I actually ran for mayor of my small town when I was 19. I didn’t win (3rd place lol), so it actually is possible to be mayor that young.
user avatar
User #39271825 - 14 Oct 20 03:30
Nervous, nerdy Ben gives me life! It’s cool that you are appreciating the world building that the show is doing. Pawnee is like a character itself, that’s one of the most things that makes this show so endearing. You’ll find lots of recurring characters and running jokes as things go along.

I love your bopping to the Smallville soundtrack. The series as a whole as a great set of featured songs. They released two cds of collection called "The Talon Mix". The show features the band Lifehouse throughout the series. This episode wasn't the best but it does have some nice allusions to the comic book with both Pete and Lex's interest in politics. Also I really enjoyed your defense of Chloe. She's the best.

Oh I hate this episode! I don't like bees, they freak me out!
user avatar
User #28187159 - 14 Oct 20 21:31
Sasha the bee girl was the robot girl on Buffy and the blonde girl Felice was in the s1 Supernatural episode Bloody Mary and in Final Destination 3 etc. Also the Man of Tomorrow nick name is from the comics for Superman also Clark doesn't have super hearing yet only Speed, Strength, Bullet Proof and X-Ray.
user avatar
User #13560629 - 14 Oct 20 05:44
Lmao david dwelling on the Chloe-Clark rift was hilarious. The whole time I was like bro it aint that serious they are in high school, They're gonna be immature irrational, and make stupid decisions. Of course clark was wrong but The way i saw it was like clark got into something new and just thought his friend would (biasedly) endorse him and in his teenage immature mind chloe endorsing someone else felt like a betrayal ( which OF COURSE IT WASN'T). BTW Chloe is 10 times more mature than any of her peer except wen it comes to matters of the heart. Great reaction as always bro but i just felt compelled to respond to your reaction of that. Lovn it keep up the good content bro

I don’t like the villain of this episode at all. Bee girl just doesn’t work. But I do like the rest of it. I liked seeing Clark get excited to run for office and put himself out there. Not an episode that is anything special but not terrible either despite the terrible villain. The reporter chick is in the Mighty Ducks movies as Connie Moreau and is also the popular main girl in the hilarious movie, Wet Hot American Summer. And the bee girl was April the Robot that Warren made in the Buffy Episode, I was made to love you.

The significance of the ending was that katherine is in Chicago lmaoo
user avatar
User #26271498 - 14 Oct 20 04:13
I've been saying we should've gotten a prequel.
user avatar
User #24247368 - 14 Oct 20 04:06
Caroline is definitely one of the more complex characters and for her to be new she handles being a vampire very well as which you will see throughout the show And for the Originals it’s not an origin story (it’s more of a spin-off) which is ironic because overall it’s superior to TVD just off story telling alone............but the events take place simultaneously with middle of season 4......you’ll see why when you get up to that point...... And legacies take place years after the events of TVD and The originals
user avatar
User #38604863 - 14 Oct 20 20:09
It's definitely a spoiler to tell when the originals takes place..
user avatar
User #24247368 - 14 Oct 20 20:16
He previously stated that he knew the Originals took place at the same time as as Vampire diaries he just and he thought that was weird because he thought it would be a prequel.....I just stated it wasn’t .....and I didn’t saying anything specific on what the show was about just basic background information about it ....I don’t consider that a spoiler
user avatar
User #13560629 - 14 Oct 20 06:58
Btw the male actor at the end of the episode you said you knew from somewhere is Balthazar from supernatural.
user avatar
User #19156266 - 14 Oct 20 03:33
Yes!!! Caroline does get put in shitty situations more than once, but it just reinforces that fact that shit is one of the best characters on the show. Hands down she's my favorite with my girl Bonnie coming in at a close second
user avatar
User #9691370 - 14 Oct 20 03:19
Lol she wasn't in New York. She's in Chicago. The bus behind her said it.
user avatar
User #7980991 - 14 Oct 20 09:13
Witches exist through bloodlines, not through the randomness that vampires are created. So if a large number of covens was black, it makes sense for a big chunk of the witches we're exposed to to be black. We have seen one (I think just the one for now) witch that was a white guy, but yeah up to now most have been black and a number of them have been from the same line of descendants. I do agree though that most black characters for some reason are either witches or dead quick.

This is the start to The Originals story Pay attention my guy its all good stuff from here

Caroline is the best character, her arc is amazing and she is so pure. There is so much depth to her story. Nothing pisses me off more than when she is tortured.

user avatar
User #26271498 - 14 Oct 20 04:48
There are a few black vampires. One or two of the tomb vampires were black. All the witches aren't black. Klaus had some white witches as well from what I can remember.
user avatar
User #19156266 - 14 Oct 20 03:40
As for what motivated Stefan to be good and stay that way it was his best friend Lexi that helped him and turning his humanity back on. With his humanity back on he could not continue to be a ripper and live with the guilt of all the death and pain he had caused.
user avatar
User #12235111 - 14 Oct 20 03:24
All witches black...lol... Keep watching...I'm from New Orleans..all the Vodoo P riests and Priestess are black so it may come from orgin like that. The Originals takes place in New Orleans. After Season 4 of TVD start The Originals. This shows is great until Season 7...my least favorite season gen ends with A great Season 8

I rewatch this one a lot because all the jokes and watching Dean do cowboy role play is just fun for me. Though I cannot disagree with your feedback on the episode. I agree with Daniel that all mysteries will be revealed, though I will disagree about the next episode...not a favorite of mine, so it will be interesting to see how you like it.

"This makes the government seem so corrupt" - yeah... this is actually a lot closer than you think. Like scary close my man. Oh and also, Bill Kim works for The Company and his boss is that dude in the limo with the pad. He didn't work for the president. They use the president to further their bigger agenda. The tension was so high during the box cutter scene. The contrast between Gus calmness and coolness and Walt frantic behavior. It was subtle but did you notice Mike reaction? He started reaching for his gun. On another scene, why do you always assume the worst about Skyler? What did you think she was doing when she moved Walter’s car? I am glad that you finally put to rest your suspicions about Gale and recognize that he was a good guy. Rest In Peace his gentle soul.
user avatar
User #20113430 - 13 Oct 20 13:23
Also Victor was seen at the crime scene. I don’t think that’s the only reason Gus killed him, but it’s definitely a big factor. Great episode!
user avatar
User #393118 - 14 Oct 20 16:37
Why do you always assume the worst of Skyler. When she moved Walt’s car, you said “why are you like this” implying that she was doing something wrong. And in the end when it is revealed why she did it, you didn’t acknowledge that you were wrong. And Gale wasn’t a bad guy as you thought all along, quite the opposite. May his gentle soul Rest In Peace.

I absolutely love every scene between Killian and Emma aboard the Jolly Roger. Again, Emma continues to be eerie as she's spending the afternoon with Killian, not just to learn from him about his past with Rumplestiltskin before he became the Dark One so she could get ahold of his sword that touched Rumple when he was still a man so she would be able to wake him, but also so she can continue to try to seduce Killian into being with her while she's the Dark One. I love how Killian continues to resist Emma's temptations, although it's sad that he finally has to lie to Emma about having loved her in the past tense in order to get her to let him go. Because we know that he still loves her very deeply. He just wants the real Emma back. The Emma he helped to break down her walls and who saved him from his darkness he has struggled with his whole life. Who pulled him back from being a villain. I love, love, love the moment Killian becomes angry with Emma upon tiring of her games, as he states how he had been the villain in Emma's tale about him and Rumplestiltskin back when Rumple had still been a good man, knowing he had helped create the Dark One in Rumplestiltskin when he held his sword and threatened the good man he had been. It shows that Killian really is remorseful over his actions that day. Such phenomenal acting from Colin O'Donoghue all throughout this scene, that is my very favorite scene within this episode. And in regards to Killian's love for Emma... like I said above, Killian does truly and deeply love the woman and Savior she was before she became the Dark One. As was revealed back in season three's episode, Good Form... we learned that Killian was a good and honorable man before he became a pirate and Captain Hook. However, the loss of his brother and then the loss of Milah at Rumplestiltskin's hand caused him to bury the good man he was deep down inside himself, and from episodes throughout seasons two and three, we come to see the good in Hook fighting to come back. We saw that Hook never lost sight of the good and longed to become a hero again, but struggled greatly to find him again. It is because of Emma that he was finally able to become the hero Killian is now. To become Killian Jones again, as well as to bring honor to the name of Captain Hook. So yes... he loves her for all she's done for him. As his love and his Savior, Emma allowed him to find the good in him and to find his happy ending. This is one reason why I love Killian so much as a character, and why I absolutely love Killian and Emma so much. Why Killian and Emma are my all time favorite True Love couple throughout this show. Overall... this is a great episode! I really love it!! And a lot happens in it that is most definitely intriguing. So I definitely give it a strong 9. Thank you so much for your reaction for this episode, Steven! Until your next reaction...

I haven't gotten to this reaction yet, but I just want to point out I keep reading the comments from your patrons and they're mostly positive when it comes to seasons 2, 3 and 4 and we would love it if you kept reacting to this series once this season ends. Season 2 is pretty good. Believe. Please don't give up on it before you've had a chance.

Just an editing suggestion - Steven should be on the left side of the screen so when you two are talking, it looks like you are talking to each other. Right now, you both look off the screen in opposite directions and it just looks odd.

One thing you forget about Ted is that when he "faced" Sylar, WE know what's about to go down, but he doesn't have a clue who it is that just opened the door! As far as he knows, they all just got into a car accident and the police is coming to check on him...when he figured it out, it was already too late ): (By the way, the "Sylar taking powers" has already been explained a few times...these guys have powers because their bodies/brains have evolved, so Sylar opens their head, sees what's different and his own original ability understands that change and helps him modify his own brain to gain the ability) Now Hiro's dad and his group? So far, all we know is that almost every current hero's parents used to belong to the same group of people that wanted to change the world for the better. Some of them's idea of how to do that got twisted over time (Hiro's dad meant people like Linderman or even mama Petrelli) and the ones whose purpose remained pure are now trying (by helping the new generation) to help stop the others If you want more backstory, well don't forget there's still 3 more seasons after this

Maze can fight dangerously because she can't really die conventionally. She's just as immortal as Lucifer and Amenadiel. However, she can die via Azrael's blade or demon daggers forged in hell. Also an angel (any celestial really) can kill her as well.

God Johnson- Another fantastic episode, and another fun reaction too!!! I love that we finally get a chance to see Lucifer really express his anger and pain to the man he comes to believe is his father, when God supposedly comes down to Earth for a time, having taken over the body of a man named Earl Johnson, yet who calls himself God Johnson after becoming possessed by a powerful belt buckle that is actually a piece of Azrael's blade. I love the idea of bringing God into the major story arc for the sake of giving Lucifer a chance to share his feelings towards his father, but also because the Goddess of all Creation is also on Earth. Also... I absolutely love the actor chosen to play God Johnson throughout this episode. Timothy Omundson, who is best known for his roles in the TV series'... Psych as Lassie or Detective Carlton Lassiter, and Galavant as King Richard, and for other guest starring roles within more shows too. He's also in a number of movies as well, but his roles in them for the most part are fairly small. But I absolutely love Timothy Omundson because he's really hilarious, and I love how he plays the role of God in Lucifer as well. He's charming, funny, and absolutely brilliant! He's one of my all time favorite comedic and dramatic actors in TV. It's always a pleasure to see him guest starring in an episode or two of a show I enjoy watching. I give this episode a 9. It's a lot of fun, so thank you both so much! Until next time...

I’m sorta OK with the arranged marriage I think. There are a lot of cultures that do that. As long as both parties are into it and not forced to marry. I don’t judge. I may be sourcing all my knowledge from Fiddler on the Roof so maybe I don’t know enough to truly have an opinion 😋.

I've ran into many people over the years who can't stand him. I pretty much like him myself but it was a process to get there and took rewatching the series a few times. I'm the same as you. I love Jess and Luke together. I always found them to be very similar in character. They are both extremely cantankerous at times and have the best arguments.

It's a 10 for me. what Harold taught the machine back then was very black and white thinking. He basically told her there are only good or bad people. So now the machine is using what Harold taught her against him. But people aren't just good or bad. You can't just seperate them like that. That's something Harold had to learn, as well as the machine.

Love this episode. Great Reaction. Loved the beginning segment and the way the machine sees our people as other people. Also loved the picnic scene, because it really shows how close our main guys have gotten. Can't wait for the rest of the season.

I like the episode, especially how much Root we are getting. An small issue of the machine hiring an assassin just hours of coming back online. Where does it get the resource and sneaking around Samaritan with such ease. Small plot issue to make keep Reese busy.

The special guest star credit is usually given to actors who carry more weight fame-wise. They might attract a bigger audience to a show. So Basically it’s the same as guest star just the person is usually more famous. Though, in the end, the producers can technically give whatever credit they want to whomever they want. So it’s not 100% the case.
user avatar
User #7766314 - 12 Oct 20 06:48
Here's the truth about season 5 and 6. The lead actor, Michael C Hall had just undergone chemo for cancer after 4. The writers honestly weren't sure of the future. Both seasons became kind of "stand alone just in case". I think they did a great job considering. It wasn't until season 7 that they could plan for the end of the show. I personally love 7, one of my favorites. Can't wait to see your take on it! Watch this (post season 4) no eyebrows! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CYo1Xr5xKl4

I love this episode. One of the best of the season. Harmony is one of my favorite characters
user avatar
User #21981329 - 10 Oct 20 23:34
I don't think this episode was meant to be much more than starting to move the characters back together in the lightest way possible. When this first aired, there was such an interwoven side story between the Buffy and Angel series with characters (Dru, Angel, Darla, Spike, and now Willow and Harmony) moving between both series. And since this originally followed the Buffy episode "Forever" I think was meant to cheer the audience back up after the heaviness and seriousness of Buffy's storyline while giving us the "what happened to Harmony" closure from the last time we saw her on Buffy.
user avatar
User #16954623 - 9 Oct 20 04:43
I actually love the fact that Harmony stays around. She has been with us since the very first episode of Buffy after all! I love that they don't really give her any sort of character arc, and that she remains the same person she was before she became a vampire. Some people truly don't change. And honestly a person's enjoyment of this episode depends on how much you like Harmony, and what can I say, she's hilarious to watch. 😂
user avatar
User #20570013 - 9 Oct 20 04:23
I give it a 10. Not actually perfect but come on, it's f****ing Harmony. :D

I really liked this episode mainly because Of Cordy and Angel I love their relationship and how Angel was trying so hard to get back in her good graces. Harmony is amazing she’s just so funny and I really like her
user avatar
User #11641589 - 9 Oct 20 16:02
I had to give it a 10. The Angel and Cordy stuff was great. I love the end when she got her new clothes and all was well. But the best thing for me was Harmony.
user avatar
User #24048466 - 9 Oct 20 14:50
I think this is a fun one. It’s not amazing or anything but I have a good time watching it. Buffy and Angel always throw these comedic episodes in every once in a while. Harmony is great. She’s definitely a favorite amongst the fans as far as side characters. She always brings the funny. And in the first season or 2 of Buffy when Cordelia had her Cordettes, Harmony was always the main one. She was like Cordy’s number 2 in the group. So they were close friends
user avatar
User #8160390 - 9 Oct 20 15:43
One of my favorite episodes of the show, not gonna lie. I adore Harmony. The only way this episode would have been better for me would have been for Harmony to become part of the team :D
user avatar
User #34618001 - 9 Oct 20 10:02
Harmony, and the way they kept finding new things to do with her character throughout the years, is one of the great underrated delights of the Buffyverse, imo. I mean, who honestly had her pegged as a character that would still be around (and getting a showcase episode on another show!) 5 seasons after the pilot of Buffy? Not I.
user avatar
User #14974192 - 12 Oct 20 13:42
No offense to Cordelia but that office deservedly does belong to Wesley all things considered. You need someone in charge, not someone who gets headaches and can't do anything useful with the information without others supporting her. Wesley was also a Watcher, another leadership role, so while Cordelia may be the conduit for the visions does she actually suit a leadership position out of the 3 of them remaining? Really? Lol
user avatar
User #13560629 - 13 Oct 20 04:00
one of the reason i love angel more than buffy is cuz of the comedic aspect of it. The actor who plays angel has really good comedic instinct and sells all the time. Its had to play a bruting old soul and pull off the comedic bits and angel does this well in this. But all in all This was a funny ass episode.

It was definitely SUPPOSED to be creepy, but I’d also be lying if I said I didn’t view this content and these choices a lot differently after some of the stuff that’s come out about Joss over the last few years. It now feels creepy on a more meta-level that makes it harder to watch for me.

Hard agree. There are a few choices (especially in regards to Spike and Xander choices) in Buffy that I can't give the benefit of the doubt anymore after learning more about Joss and sometimes even the cast's response to those decisions. The academics and theorists who find better meaning in some Buffy elements than were clearly intended are what keep me interested in those things.

Here's a summary: https://www.thecut.com/2020/07/joss-whedons-controversies-and-alleged-bad-behavior-a-guide.html That leaked Wonder Woman script was an eye-opener, as were his weird male gaze-y additions to JL like having Flash fall on top of Diana ~accidentally~ touching her chest, just as he had Bruce Banner do with Black Widow in Avengers 2... It all just paints a picture of a guy who's a toxic creep masquerading as a feminist, imo. Other cast/crew have backed up those allegations of inappropriate workplace behavior, too. All of which makes the more overt instances of sexualizing his female characters (especially Buffy) on his shows even more uncomfortable to me than they were before.

User #23523028 - 8 Oct 20 11:02
I think people make way too much out of that kiss at the end, criticizing it and overthinking it.
user avatar

I agree. To me is was a gentle way for Buffy to show her gratitude when words would not have had as much of an impact on Spike.

User #16954623 - 8 Oct 20 05:19
A huge part of the reason why you're my favorite reactor is that my initial beliefs and thoughts of the series gets challenged, consistently. This was never my favorite episode but I still viewed it to be pretty lighthearted compared to the last two episodes. But it wasn't until I saw you react to the Buffybot that I realize just how CREEPY the whole situation really is. Like the fact that out of all the evil villainous things you could have Spike do, Joss chose this route. Your right, seeing our main character who we deeply respect, do things like that is definitely cringeworthy, and it might point to a deeper problem regarding Joss and his works but that's another novel entirely. Great reaction as always! 👌
user avatar
User #41304408 - 8 Oct 20 12:41
You didn’t get it was creepy the first time you saw it???? And nothing the Buffybot does reflects poorly on Buffy, it reflects poorly on Spike 😆
user avatar
User #393118 - 8 Oct 20 16:08
Jane Espenson wrote this episode as well as “I was made to love you”.
user avatar
User #16954623 - 8 Oct 20 17:50
Flora of course I found it creepy the first, second, and third times around, I was just saying I always laughed it off as just something Spike would do. Watching this with my 2020 glasses on, especially with everything we now know about Joss, makes it ten times worse to the point that it's now kinda uncomfortable to watch. SMG still kills it as the Buffybot, and of course it reflects on Spike, I never said it didn't. This is more of a "I see Joss's work in a new light after all we've uncovered about him" kinda deal.

User #25620326 - 8 Oct 20 18:56
Marshall, I agree
user avatar
User #9641207 - 8 Oct 20 07:20
I really like this episode, but there are definitely a few things that bother me. The premise- I’m not exactly why Buffy would think she was loosing her ability to love when she had just broken down over her mother the last episode. I understand feeling numbness, but, I would have needed some more time to start to believe she thought was turning into stone, as she put it. I also was really bothered by them not realizing ..if not that Buffy was acting robotic, then noticing she was acting clearly very very off, in every initial interaction they had with robo Buffy.
user avatar
User #11769451 - 8 Oct 20 10:54
I think the timing of this episode is perfect. Because it came after a long period of Buffy being out of it, even behaving at times a bit like a robot (just a completely emotionally dead robot, as opposed to the buffybot). It might not be entirely realistic that they all bought it, but I give it a pass for them just being really worried about her and thinking this is a new phase of her depression. Edit: oh and forgot to mention... I really love episodes that really changes what a character perceives about reality, because it teaches us so much more about how they think. Getting to see how Buffy's friends would react to Buffy acting strangely with Spike, and Buffy a chance to react to their misunderstanding shows so much more of the depth of the characters. It's mostly played for humour, but it does make them get new details that otherwise they would never have a chance to show.

I really love this one. After all the seriousness of the last couple of episodes, they needed a more comedic episode and this one delivers with some laugh out loud funny one liners. I thought the idea if the Buffybot was going to be stupid and then this episode showed me how wrong I was. I do think that they dumb down the scoobies a little bit in order to make the joke work but it’s funny enough that I don’t mind it. They also use the explanation that since Buffy’s mom just died that she’s acting out of character. So I’ll buy it. Spike is evil and tends to fall back into those ways at times but I do believe that he also tries to fight it and be better. Not giving up Dawn was great though. And despite the Buffybot part if it, I left this episode with more respect for spike than before it. So many good jokes, asking Anya about her money, spike programming Buffybot to hate Angel, “we will bring you the beaten body of bob barker”, programming Giles name wrong, and so much more. What a fun episode.

I agree with your assessment of the kiss at the end. Back when this episode aired and I was a teenager w/ a crush on Spike, I thought it was cute that she kissed him. Now, as an adult (who still thinks Spike is great), I think it's a bit too reminiscent of the misogynistic idea that a man can "earn" physical affection from a woman, or that he is owed that for his heroic acts, somehow. It's great that society has progressed to the point that Buffy fans can detect this, even in a show that is very pro-female. Anyway, this doesn't really color my perception of Spike as a character, or of Buffy; I just think the writers would see it differently now than they did back then. Overall, I think this is a really good episode and I agree with the others about the Buffy-Bot. While her existence is very creepy, her lines are hilarious and I love seeing her on screen!
user avatar
User #28187159 - 8 Oct 20 05:21
say what you will about the weirdness of Spike being with a robot every moment BuffyBot is on screen is Hilarious and SMG plays it perfect. "How's your money".... "You're the Big Bad"..... "You're my best friend, You're recently Gay".... "And lots of different ways, I can make sketches".... "Angels lame, his hair stands straight up and he's bloody stupid." lol Classic
user avatar
User #10223997 - 8 Oct 20 13:08
It is creepy and uncomfortable, but that's the point. The show doesn't shy away from making moments and situations it knows that fans will enjoy but twisting them just enough that they feel really bad doing so.

love this episode, my 2nd favorite glee christmas episode! The highlights for me were Blaine & Kurt’s duet & Finn & Rachel’s rendition of Last Christmas (I suggest listening to the full studio version, it’s god tier & also features Amber Riley (Mercedes)). Great reaction as always!

I think S2 ep 10 is called "A Very Glee Christmas"

Literally the only part of this episode that is worth watching is Kurt and Blaine's duet imo

A favorite of mine and Glee's best Christmas episode IMO. Unfortunately not a lot of Kurt and Blaine but what we got was awesome. The first Klaine duet and one of the best ones
