Carry On is up for "Best Comic Strip!" The presentation of the winners will be announced via YouTube on Saturday, May 23. You can go to the Ursa Major awards web page for the link to the broadcast at 6 PM PST.
We hope you enjoy using it. yiff.party operates on a non-profit basis, and as such, all the server expenses are paid by our users. We don't want to run ads or infect you with crypto miners. We depend on users like you to keep the site running, and to preserve years and terabytes of amazing content—some of which is no longer available from its original creators!
Because of the nature of the site, many users are reluctant to donate. That's OK! yiff.party was created so everyone can enjoy the content we host without any restrictions or paywalls. But if you value the service we provide, and are able to, we—and our users—would be tremendously grateful if you considered making a donation.
So far, approximately $0.00 has been raised out of our target of $250.00. We're about 0% of the way there! Please note: this tracker is updated manually—don't worry if your donation doesn't show up immediately!
yiff.party's server costs are due on the last day of each month. So, we need to meet this goal before 31 July!
At this time, yiff.party can only accept donations in numerous cryptocurrencies. Please select a currency below to display the relevant donation address.
Due to the nature of sites like yiff.party, it is very difficult to find payment processors who will accept clients like us. If we were to accept donations via PayPal, it wouldn't take more than a day for someone to submit an abuse report and get our account frozen. Until a viable way of accepting monetary donations becomes available, cryptocurrency will remain the only option.
There are many resources available on how to purchase crypto. For Bitcoin, check out bitcoin.org's page on buying Bitcoin for a list of methods. For beginner Bitcoin users, yiff.party recommends using an escrow service such as LocalBitcoins.

Due to circumstances beyond my control, involving death and taxes, I was unable to stay ahead of my comics buffer during March and April, and so therefore I am forced to scale back to only three comics a week for the next few weeks in order to allow myself time to rebuild the buffer. As soon as I have adequate lead time established, I will resume posting two comics per update. I apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for you understanding and continued support at this time.
This is a commission piece for one of my patrons (guess who? ;) ) that I finally got around to completing. In Carry On, Darque Hellmutt is a comic-book hero, who travels the galaxy righting wrongs with his trusty zap gun.
When I proposed the concept of doing a comic book cover to Darque, he suggested his character could be fighting General Jinjur. Well, I couldn't exactly do that, but making up a supervillain that looks just like her...that's do-able.
Songween is an autocrat, but she does have some advisors to help her make her decisions. Seen here accompanying her out of the Throne room are Lady Vorbottan, Lady Vorashus, Lady Vormanga, Lieutenant Fred Kruger, Ambassador Bleeknys, Ambassador Briggins, and Ambassador Maghotti.
I see that today, I've reached 25% of my monthly goal. I shall be putting up a special piece of artwork to thank my patrons for their support!
As of 7/2, the premiums for the $7-and-up tiers have been mailed.
I still need to hear from the $20 and $25-tier patrons regarding their commission pieces.
Again, I apologise for the delay.
Okay, so I am FINALLY getting around to sending out the premiums for the $7 tier donors. I apologise for the scandalous delay--I got addresses from many of you some time ago (and my manager tool on Patreon has mailing addresses for everyone EXCEPT the $7 tier donors!) and I've printed out the pictures and I'm putting them in envelopes today. I am grateful to you for your support and patience.
I may need to re-do the reward tiers, since this is obviously a clumsy problem for me. I'm not sure what I'll do, but this has been a gross embarrassment to me. Also, sending CD archives to the upper tiers only works for the first one. I suppose I just have to send out CDs with the comics on them from the next year.
If I can get things together enough, maybe I'll streamline the donation levels and send out printed books...
I want to thank everyone who supported "Carry On" by reading the strip, and voting for it in the Ursa Majors Awards contest. I could not have finally achieved this honor without you all.
It was hard to have three of the four other nominees being excellent comic strips drawn by friends of mine. And it tempers my desire to do a victory dance...I'm just grateful that I was fortunate enough to have the support of my fans, and that I was able to be present at AnthrOhio for the presentation.
This is a piece of commission artwork created for Maxgoof http://www.furaffinity.net/user/maxgoof/ for his "Beach Bears" story series. Young Dipper Draper has joined the Air Force, and is considering quitting, when he is summoned by his commanding officer, General Frankel, for a talk.
I just sent a number of my supporters a PM about needing addresses to send their premiums to. And then I found where Patreon hid the addresses in their new lay-out.
EDIT: I still do not have addresses for any of the $7 tier patrons--which are the ones I need in order to mail them their prints! If you're a $7 patron, please send me your snail-mail address!
It's getting down to the wire, folks! If you've been considering voting for "Carry On" for Best Anthropomorphic Comic strip, and if I haven't annoyed you out of it yet, please go to the link and do so before March 31!
Well, I finally have the new printer hooked up and working. I need to run a few more test prints to get the color balance right, but hopefully I'll be able to fulfill the patron tier premiums that I promised, and which are grossly overdue because my previous printer died on me. I appreciate your patience, and will try to slip in a little thank-you extra in the print envelopes I'll be sending out soon!
Time grows short! If you're thinking of voting for "Carry On" or "Uri's Bittersweet Story," but haven't yet, now would be an excellent time to do so!
If I win an Ursa for "Best Comic Strip," I promise I'll shut up about it!
(...until next year... ;) )
