This is really cool and I really love this game. Are we gonna get a way to watch scenes more on demand? Like for example, you have the caterpie and it evolves into metapod and then you can't watch the scenes with caterpie again unless you catch another caterpie. Could we also know what not-pokemon you're putting in when you do an update? I personally can't wait till you do some stuff with Ponyta, it's one of my favorites~

Yes, I'm planning to have a Punkdex, where you would be able to see the scenes you unlocked for any Punkmon. Usually you'll be able to know by the "Who's that Punkmon" posts, but this time I didn't do it because I was trying to get the update out asap.

Might i suggest when losing battles against punkmon, they 'assault' her? ;) I've kept a couple punkmon at lower levels to use against the matches in towns to lose so I can see those scenes, and figured they could be used to lose against punkmon when exploring also.

Yes, it'd be nice. But the problem is that I'm already doing too much scenes for each Punkmon. Maybe I can just use some of the current scenes with some changes in the text, I don't know. I'll think about it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Some people prefer smaller, some prefer bigger, it's hard to please everyone. I tried to keep it on an average size (C-cup). Giving the option to choose would be great, but that would mean at least twice the amount of renders, which take a lot of time. So, it's a possibility, but for the future. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

As I stated in the previous Dev Log I was taking a few weeks off. For multiple reasons. But now I'm back and this week I've been working on basically putting everything together for the next release.

Two new Punkmons are coming up, with all the scenes. It's two big ones, with 5 scenes each, so it's been a lot of work to finish them. The first one is finished and includes the first anal scene of the game.

The second one I had some trouble with some of the moves but them I realized I was overcomplicating things and decided to go with an easier route, which worked out fine. This one will also have a pioneer, the first sleeping scene (hmm, I wonder with Punkmon might be able to do this).

I'm not going to do the "Who's that Punkmon" this time because I'm trying to focus on finishing it, and there's still a good amount of work to do.

Speaking of anal, the model for the internal shot for anal scenes was also done. I might improve it later, but for now its good enough.

The inventory system is almost done also. It's a simplified version for now, but it'll have the core system on which I can expand later. This will also allow the shops to be more flexible, since they were hard coded until now.

If everything goes right, next release will be in a week at most.

Sorry for the lack of posts this few weeks, but I really needed a time off. Not from this (I love doing this), but from life in general, haha.

I couldn't reproduce any of the bugs you mentioned. I might need more information. Is it the Mac version? Also the error log says 0.0.9, are you sure it was the latest version? Does the problem happen with other Punkmon (when evolving or going to the safe spot with other Punkmon). I have the impression that you might have merged the two versions, which might be the cause of the problem. Try a clean install to see if the problems persist.

I've been working mainly on new Punkmon and scenes.

My plan is to finish all the Punkmon the player could have at the point he fights Brock. I estabilished level 16 as pretty much the maximum level the player would reasonably have his party at when facing him. This means I need 3 more, which are evolutions of ones we already have. I also wish to add the Inventory System (at least its base) before proceding with the story.

I'm also going to take a couple weeks off during the holidays and a little bit after, and I don't think I can finish everything I want for 0.1 before that.

So what's gonna happen is I'm going to make one last release this year, 0.0.10, with the content I have at that point, which is probably gonna be 2 Punkmon and some other smaller stuff. And then 0.1.0 will be the first release for next year which is also pretty fitting, haha.

I'm making this post for 2 reasons.

First to warn you, if you are not a patron and you haven't noticed yet, the 0.0.8 release post became public. I used the new feature that makes the post public automatically after some time, 7 days in this case.

Second, I want your opinion about this new feature. Especially if you are not a patron, since it only affects you. Does it show in the feed when the post becomes public? Would it be better if I just made a new post when it becomes public, just like it was before?

Not sure if this bug has been reported yet, but the poison status effect is not being removed after healing your party by going home or to a Punkcenter.

Game could have been good but nope it is not. Hard to catch them when it is way to quick on leveling your pokemon. Oh look you won a battle not only do you go up a level but hell we are going to throw in 5 more levels just because it likes you. Good luck now catching any low level one because you hit way to hard and cannot get them low enough on hit points where they cannot break free.

You can choose normal exp mode at the beginning to level up normally. You can also save before using your balls and try a few times until you catch them. The reason there is the XP multiplier is to allow you to see the scenes that require too much level. When the game has more content you'll be able to just see the scenes naturally as you progress but right now it would take too much grinding to do so.

python27.dll and sdl2.dll are both files that should be in the path "lib\windows-i686\" in the game folder. They are shipped with the game, so they should be there. 1) Disable any anti-virus software. 2) Open the zip file you downloaded with the game and check if the files are where I said. If not, re-download it. 3) Re-extract the game from the zip file. Make sure you're extracting everything.

Did you do the other steps too? Also, did you search your game folder to see if the files supposedly missing are there? You can also try running the game as admin. Other than that I have no idea, you're the first to have this problem that I know of.

This week I'm working on a new Punkmon and his Hscenes, Punkmon storage system and inventory, Pewter Gym, Brock and first Gym battle.

New Punkmon with hscenes as always.

Punkmon storage system. With the next Punkmon we'll officially run out of space in the party. Therefore I'm working on the Storage system. It's going to be very simple initially. Just a scrolling list with all the Punkmon stored in the pc and you can choose to withdraw or deposit them. Later on I can add more functionalities, but for now I don't think it's necessary.

Inventory: The inventory system will work very similarly to the Punkmon storage initially. Basically a list with all you itens. This list will be used for buying, selling and browsing through your stuff. Nothing fancy. I'll also improve the system later.

I also intend to do the Pewter Gym interior and Brock models during the following week, as well as the first gym battle. All the dialogue and story involving the gym shall be done too.

All this stuff may or may not be included in the next release, depending on how much time I need to finish them.

I didn't think much about it yet, but I'll not have Punkmon x Punkmon scenes. That would be simply impossible since I would need more than 10000 difference scenes. The breeding system will probably be just for getting Punkmon with better stats. Maybe I'll add a pregnancy system for Leaf and she could work similarly to a Ditto, but that's just food for thought for now.

Thank you for your answer, but you misunderstood me, I meant on correct punkmon biology intercourse with Leaf, not punkmon x punkmon. If a punkom could make pregnant Leaf, as you sad, it will be sooooo sexy! I see, you have to work a lot with this, I only say it can make your game more unique and satisfying. Mixing species, especially this hot girl Leaf, with a cute, or bestially punkmon....just wow. Good luck to your work!

Question : I just had a situation in wich I blew 10+ Punkballs on a level 2 Mankey with 1-2 lifepoints left and that bugger would not stay put. Is that mechanic dependant on RNG or something else (v0.0.7 Public from MEGA-link)? Or is that allready adressed in a Fix/Hotfix?

Yeah, the RNG behaves weird sometimes. I'm not sure if it's just bad luck or the rng is not working properly. When debuggin everything seems fine, so I'm not sure. Maybe it just do it when I'm not looking. Anyway I'll think of a way to improve it without having to remove the rng completely.

Dropbox is rather limited in when it comes to traffic. Other online repositories allow for a greater volume of traffic, MEGA for example.

This week I'm working on a new Punkmon along with his Hscenes and a combat UI overhaul.

New Punkmon with hscenes. My plan is to follow a schedule following the unlocked areas, meaning I intend to release all Punkmon available before Pewter. After Pewter is done I'll release 0.1. Than I'll start working all the way to the next gym for 0.2 and so on. We shall have 2 or 3 more releases before 0.1 if everuthing goes according to plan.

New combat UI: I'm doing a complete overhaul of the combat UI. Until now it was just a few choice menus in sequence. Now I'm building proper screens for the battle and move choices, etc. This will make the combat more user friendly. Also I'm adding right-click commands for most screens as a "go back" command. That means you can close most screens with right-click. In combat, right click is the same as "Run".

I also started working on a few things that might or might not be included in the next release. They are:

Inventory management system. Not much yet, just doing the barebones.

Pewter city models and buildings. Some of the models from the other places can be reused, which helps a lot, but others I need to do, then setup the city with everything and then render.

Brock model. Just some initial posing and render tests. Not very hard to do, but it depends on Pewter City being done to be put into the game, so I'll focus on that first.

Public Release 0.0.7 will be out soon.

The Mac version seems to be pretty broken. Visiting a secluded spot and selecting a punkmon will trigger an error. I chose to ignore it and the game will play the final scene without giving you a choice or without having to level up or see the other scenes first. This happened with Mankey, Rattata and Metapod. No scene played with Caterpie, didn't try the other ones. Besides that I couldn't seem to progress in Virdian Forest. I kept exploring but either I found nothing or a wild Catterpie. Gave up on finding new stuff after like 40 tries.

This week I it's gonna be a short log. I basically just continued working on all the stuff I started last week, especially the hscenes for the new Punkmon and the new navigation system.

New Punkmon/Hscenes: The new scenes are kinda shocking that's all I'm saying.

New Navigation System: I finished adjusting all the locations to the new scene. I think it's much better now. Much more user friendly. The map image is just a placeholder for now, I'm still thinking how I'm going to render a large scale map like this.

Also, a little bit of a bad news. The file contaning the new scenes got corrupted. I had a backup of course, but I lost about 8 hours of work on it. This just means the next release might come a little later than I was planning, just a heads up.

Is it possible to stop the Caterpie evolution at 10? Metapod won't learn the same moves and at this point it seems all Caterpie scenes are blocked now because of this. Also I am not sure if it's just my version but I get a crash when i try to "Go Back" from Pewter City.

There is no way yet, but I'll add an option to stop evolution in next release. For now, using the normal mode, without the exp multiplier should allow you to get to level 6 and see the scenes before evolving. I'll check the "Go Back" problem, thanks for the report.

This week I worked mainly on the new navigation system and the scenes for a new Punkmon.

New Punkmon/Hscenes: A new Punkmon is on the way with respective hscenes. Not much to talk about it, I'll give you guys a teaser soon.

New Navigation System: It's taking some work to get it working on Ren'py, but it's basically done. I just have to adjust some of locations to fit the new system. The way you move now is basically throught a map. The map shows the accessible locations and you click on them to move. Once you enter the location or explore it, one of the possible random events is called. The events can be wild or trainer battles, items found or finding the way to a new area, therefore unlocking it in the map, as well as any unique events I may need.

Dialogues: I'm trying to change the Leaf dialogues a bit to make her look more like a "slutty naughty" than the "innocent air-headed". The way she behaved wasn't working out with the way she talked and reacted to things, especially since she participates in a lot of h-scenes and acted all innocent in some dialogues. Not all of the dialogues are adjusted yet, I'm doing it gradually. Thanks for the people who talked with me about this. Not sure it'll be of to the liking of everyone but we'll see.

New Portraits: I wasn't very happy with the way some of the portraits were and after some testing I realized it had more to do with the scene lightning than anything else. So I improved the scene used for portraits and re-rendered most of them. Also did some more aggressive post work on them. I liked the result, but I'll wait for feedback.

This week I focused mainly on the new locations and I'm also trying to figure out the best way to do the environments. I tried using custom models, like I did in route 22 but it didn't look very good. So I went back to Vue, which is the same I used for route 1. The problem is it takes much more time to render and also looks a bit blurry. But I think I'll stick with these for now.

New Locations: Route 2 and Viridian Forest. All the renders are done and the areas are already inside the game. The next release will have all Punkmons in their correct areas now. Viridian Forest also have a lot of areas to navigate through in order to get to the other side, which made me realize I probably need some sort of navigation interface to make this easier to understand, with a map or something like this.

New Battles: Added a bunch of new battles, including the 2nd rival battle in Route 22 and a bunch of Bug Catcher battles in Viridian Forest. I just added the ones that use the Punkmons already in the game. Others will be added eventually.

Re-rendered the blowjob scene with better lightning and some wet shaders on certain parts. I also started re-rendering the caterpie scene (which was still using the old Leaf model) and rendered the first scene for them, both things I would have to do eventually. I still need to re-render the portraits of some characters and some details of other scenes like the x-ray parts using the final model.

I started doing the preparations for a new Punkmon, like setting up the model, shaders and textures, but it won't be for this next release yet.

Hey there, great update. I loved the new scenes and the route 22 background was instantly recognizable. 2 remarks/questions: When a punkmon forgets a move used to access a scene, that scene becomes unavailable. Is this intended? The punkmon characteristics seem a bit off. For example, I've got a mankey taller than a house weighing in at nearly half a ton, with a penis the size of a person. I get that that's par for the course for a porn game – especially the last stat – but it gets odd when watching the scenes and knowing that should be a bus-sized caterpillar climbing Leaf's leg, Will those values get restrained to specific ranges depending on the species in later updates? Thanks for your continued development of this game, looking forward to see more in the future

Hey, thanks! Yes, when the Punkmon forgets a move they don't have the option to the scene anymore. I'm thinking if I should remove that. Do you think it's bad to have it that way? About the second question, it's actually a bug. It should already be restrained to each species. I must have changed something in the last minute before the release that messed it up. Hey, thanks for the quick response. To continue on the first point, I guess it mostly depends on what you've got planned for the future. If you're planning to expand the pool of moves with scenes behind them for each punkmon, losing access to the scenes of moves they forget might actually be fun, in that it allows people a different way to customize their team through the scenes they can access with them. If you plan to keep the available scenes limited to the current amount of between 2 and 5 per punkmon, being forced to choose between your mon learning a better move or losing access to one of their scenes would suck. This can be either a big or a small grievance, depending on how difficult you plan on making the fights going forward. I get this might come across as a shameless beg to get extra content, but i'm honestly fine with either scenario. 5 scenes per mon still means 750 (755?) scenes total, and an unreasonable amount of work to ask of you. I just fear that, down the line, we'll be somewhat forced to choose between keeping access to all the content you create, and being able to actually progress in the game.

You have files that shouldn't be there. This "output" folder that appears in your error message doesn't exist in my project. Did you use any software that may have generated this folder, like a ren'py decompiler for example? Either way, try removing this folder (output) from your game folder and it should work. Please tell me if the problem persists.

This week I had to focus on some freelance jobs to keep my bank account from going dry, so I couldn't do much. But still managed to do some cool stuff, including the new Punkcenter along with the nurse and the new Punkmon with his scenes.

New Punkmon: Metapod is ready to go. He just has the Harden scene, but it's a good one. Also, it made me realize that I can't use one of the moves for the "do nothing" scene, because if you catch them already evolved it doesn't make sense. So, I'll add an option for when love is too low that is not linked to any moves. For now just for the new one, but I'll adjust the others eventually.

New Location: Punkcenter. I didn't had any assets that looked similar to most of the of the furniture inside, so I had to model them myself, including the weird healing machine, the standing computer and the counter. It took some time, but it's always nice to keep improving my 3D modelling skills.

New Character: Nurse (Joy?). Not sure what I'll call her, since she doesn't have a name in the games. Nurse Joy or maybe just The Nurse are two options. I custmized her hair to look similar to the character but still somewhat realistic. Just one expression rendered for now.

Internal Model: I reworked the 3d model I use for the internal x-ray renders. Basically I added another layer around it to make the walls look thicker instead of paper thin like before

Other Stuff: Fixed some bugs and re-rendered the first scene, the Leaf solo one. I used improved shaders and did it in a way that I could make a simple pseudo-animation with it. Also rendered some parts to have a wet look. Adjusted the writting and coding to reflect the changes.

Next week I'll probably make the models and renders for Route 2 and possibly Viridian Forest. Maybe start a new h-scene.

Great work so far! Might I suggest adding an alternative set of combat moves, that could lead to taming Punkmon? Instead of attacking/using a ball, Leaf could seduce or provoke them with actions of a sexual nature. If successful, the end of the fight could lead to a unique sex scene that is not available when 'playing' with your already captured Punkmon.

Caterpie doesn't seem too eager to go back to his punkball after the string shot h-scene, at least until you enter a wild encounter or a town.

There might be a problem with renpy random generator that might be leading to a lot "unlucky" rolls in succession. Just save the game before going to the route and try a few times and it should work. I'll try to figure out what's causing this.

This week I finished some scenes and started working on some other ones, did route 22 models and render, and worked on a lot of combat related features, including moves/learnsets, ivs, evs and natures.

H-scenes: Finished last scene for the new Punkmon. There is a couple animations inlcuded. More like pseudo-animations since it's just a couple frames alternating, but I think it looks pretty good. I'll wait for your opinions about it. Also started doing a Leaf X Mom teasing scene. It will be the start of a sequence of events/scenes involving them.

Locations: Did the modelling and rendering of route 22. Also, the navigation between routes is a bit different. Firstly, there is a 50% chance of a random encounter when you enter the route or do anything in it. Also, the wild maps will have multiple areas to go across. For now it's linear, but it will allow more intricate designs, possibility of more in depth exploration and inclusion of random events later on.

Combat: Added move learnsets for all Punkmon already in the game and yet to come. The moves are used in battle, but just a small bunch have the effects implemented. The rest just do regular damage for now. The moves are considered physical or special based on their type, like it was back in 3rd gen.

Punkmon Stats: Added natures, Ivs and Evs. All completely working. The Punkmon info screen was updated to show new relevant info like moves and natures.

Love System: The love system now take into account the moves the Punkmon currently have. This makes the game a bit too grindy at this point, because you have to level up in the same low level areas, so I added a exp multiplier cheat that you can activate at the beggining to make it easier. I'll take this option out later.

Release 0.0.5 will be coming soon.

This week I've been working on the new Punkmon scenes and a lot of gui stuff. And I decided to call the creatures Punkmon inside the game, as you may have noticed.

H-scenes: 3 new scenes done, one more to go. The scenes include some whipping and the first bestiality BJ. I'm pretty proud of the results so far, I think you guys are gonna like it.

General GUI: Changed all the fonts for a more 8-bitsy one and also the game title font in the main menu. Added a new frame for the interface windows (except the dialogue window, I like it the way it is) and also changed the health bars in the battle scene.

Player Screen: Added a new menu item in the overlay menu, which goes to a screen containing info about the player, including current money, pokeballs, badges, among other stuff. More info will be added in the future and some of this info will be moved to other screens, but for now it's all there in one place.

Punkmon Info Screen. Now in the party screen when you click a punkmon you get a submenu with "Info", "Switch" and "Return". Switch does the same as before but "Info" goes to a screen containing info about the selected Punkmon, including name, species, level, stats, weight, penis len.. Ahem, I mean, height.

This week I was more busy than usual with some freelancing. In short, I spent most time finishing the Mankey scenes for the 0.0.4 release, but also finished the quest and added a couple new features like the money and Pokéballs.

Locations: Added route 22 with some capturable pokes, including the Mankey, which can be captured only there.

Rival scene and story: The second rival battle including all dialogue is already done. I just didn't include in 0.0.4 because it's pointless for now. (It's pretty much just a road block)

H-scenes: 5 Mankey scenes. Bestiality of corse, but also Including a new fetish: spanking. I planned more 2 more scenes initially, but it was taking too much time, so I cut them out. May still add them later. Also started setting up the models and poses for a new poke (filthy rats!).

Story: the package delivery quest is done. You get 5 Pokéballs on completion and unlocks the shop and route 2 (which just ends the game for now)

Shop & Money: the basics of money usage are in place. You now lose and win money in battles and you can spend money on the mart. Mom also give you 2000 to get started after delivering the package.

Balls: You gotta have balls now to capture. No way to see how many you have yet, but you really just need 3, so no big deal.

Thank you very much! Animation is definitely a possibility, although it takes much more time to do, especially rendering. Maybe in the future I'll test it in a scene to calculate exactly the time and work needed. Also, it would have to be just certain parts, like the penetration, for example.

I forgot to mention, but using old saves is not advised. Since I added a bunch of new variables, especially on the Player class, the game is probably gonna crash when you reach a part that needs such variables.

In summary, this week I've been working on the new city, trainer battle system and couple new scenes.

Locations: I've finished the models for the next city, which were a house, the pokecenter, the pokemart and the gym. All were made from scratch, which took some work. I used a new render style for the city and the re-render of Pallet. The inside of the mart was also setup and rendered, since it was needed for the package delivery quest.

Rival scene and story: The rival storyline begins with the first battle Leaf loses and will proceed from there. The first scene is more of a teasing scene instead of an actual hscene but it will get better as we go.

Other scenes: Caterpie was inserted in the love system with his current images(no new content except for some dialogue changes). Also I'm working on the scenes of a new creature (some sort of monkey). It will have a lot of variations, including some rough play.

Trainer Battle: Did all the additional code needed for trainer battles. The first battle will be against the rival.

Story: the package delivery quest is pretty much done. The first rival battle will be after the completion, since Leaf has her first capture later than in the normal game.

I'm new to this and I'm still figuring out how to get more visibility. I posted it in forums like legend of krystal and the fenoxo forum, but the problem with sites like the one you said(which has my game, btw) is that they usually just post the games and don't really care to give credits. But you are right about putting the patreon link inside the game, that's a great idea. Thanks for the comment.

At the start of the week I was working on the final touches for 0.0.3 release, specially the new hscenes. Once I got the release out, I started working on some new stuff.

Locations: I've been doing the buildings models for the new city. Two done, one more to go. I still need to setup the vegetation and terrain surroundings before rendering.

New mom model: improved mom model a lot. Model setup, shaders and portrait expressions rendering are all done. I couldn't make she look kinda older and still beautiful, so she looks younger than she probably should, but still older than Leaf.

Re-renders: Started re-rendering the first solo scene with the new Leaf model. Background and Leaf base done. Still need to render the second expression/pose and the fluid. Also re-rendered all Leaf portrait/expression with new model.

Started planning the first rival scene. I'm thinking about taking the fem-dom route with the Leaf/Blue side story. I don't want to dive into multi-routes for the relationships because I already have too much content planned. Maybe in the future. I also did some testing with a Daisy model, which I'm gonna use in the first lesbian scene, but probably not in the next release yet.

For next week my plans are to finish the re-render of the solo scene, pose and render the rival hscene, finish the new city and possibly route 22, and insert the green worm in the love system with just the 2 scenes I already have (oral and penetration), only changing the dialogue a bit. Since I'm basing the scenes on the moves and he only learns two, I think this will be fine. I'm hoping to get the first quest (package delivery) working too, along with trainer battles (first rival battle would be the pilot).

Also I still need to re-render some more stuff, but I'm trying to space-out the re-renders a bit to keep new content coming. So I'll leave the rest for the week after that.

This week I've been working to get the main game systems in place.

Party management: The player can now access his party through an overlay menu and see names, levels, etc. and change positions. More can be added through capture. The exceeding captured go to the "computer" but there is no way to access it yet.

Combat system: The initial version is done and ready for the next release. For now, you can choose to run (escape chance follows the original formula), throw a ball to capture (chances also follow the original, infinite balls for now), use physical attack or special attack, which calculates damage based on the respective stats. Types not in place yet. Turn order based on speed, exp gain and level up are all working too.

Love system: All captured creatures now have a love value (similar to friendship). Love increases by 5 on level up only (for now). When in a route, the player will have the option to find a secluded place to get to know one of his party members a little better, if you know what I mean.

Also, added a new creature (very angry looking bird) with 5 different scenes using the new love system as a test pilot. I also included references to his moves during the scenes. I think it's fun, but I'll see what people think.

No progress on the story this week, I need to get a some locations done first.

Expect 0.0.3 release soon.

I'll try to post development updates once a week to keep patreons and visitors informed of what I'm doing at the moment. The next release will probably be at the end of next week.

I've been working mainly on improvements for existing models and scenes and coding some of the systems the game will need, like party management and combat.

The improvements are to the backgrounds, mainly to increase consistency in the point of view, to look like the scene is being seen from a person's eyes, and not a flying view like before. Also repositioning and adding props to make the location similar to the original locations in the game.

The coding I've done consists of a party management screen (for now, player can only view his current party), database management, so I can keep names, base stats, types and other stuff in a separated file and not hard coded and also a basic combat system. For starters, it'll have just stats and type effectiveness, with turn order and damage calculation based on them.

Next steps:

- Rework some characters a bit to make them look better(especially Leaf and Mom). I'll have to re-render the images involving them, but better now that I still have just a few scenes.

- Make a new hscene, hopefully in time for next release.

- Work on the next locations needed.

- Work on the next characters and dialogues needed.

- Item management basics.
