New core video! In anticipation of WarioWare Gold for the 3DS, I'm taking a look at my personal favorite mainline game in the series, WarioWare: Smooth Moves!
We hope you enjoy using it. yiff.party operates on a non-profit basis, and as such, all the server expenses are paid by our users. We don't want to run ads or infect you with crypto miners. We depend on users like you to keep the site running, and to preserve years and terabytes of amazing content—some of which is no longer available from its original creators!
Because of the nature of the site, many users are reluctant to donate. That's OK! yiff.party was created so everyone can enjoy the content we host without any restrictions or paywalls. But if you value the service we provide, and are able to, we—and our users—would be tremendously grateful if you considered making a donation.
So far, approximately $400.00 has been raised out of our target of $400.00. We're about 100% of the way there! Please note: this tracker is updated manually—don't worry if your donation doesn't show up immediately!
yiff.party's server costs are due on the last day of each month. So, we need to meet this goal before 31 October!
At this time, yiff.party can only accept donations in numerous cryptocurrencies. Please select a currency below to display the relevant donation address.
Due to the nature of sites like yiff.party, it is very difficult to find payment processors who will accept clients like us. If we were to accept donations via PayPal, it wouldn't take more than a day for someone to submit an abuse report and get our account frozen. Until a viable way of accepting monetary donations becomes available, cryptocurrency will remain the only option.
There are many resources available on how to purchase crypto. For Bitcoin, check out bitcoin.org's page on buying Bitcoin for a list of methods. For beginner Bitcoin users, yiff.party recommends using an escrow service such as LocalBitcoins.

In my next core video I'll be taking a look at WarioWare: Smooth Moves in anticipation of the upcoming WarioWare Gold! It's a good game. Kinda underrated, in fact.
Well, it's here! My Patreon-exclusive Discord server is now ready! Invite links will be sent to all $2+ patrons very shortly!
This server will be a nice little place to:
• Chill out!
• Talk about my upcoming projects and see some special behind the scenes stuff!
• Participate in special patron-exclusive events!
• Whatever, really!
All future $2+ patrons will also receive an invite to this server! I hope you enjoy your time in here, and I certainly hope it grows in the future as well!
That's right -- I'm opening up a Patreon-exclusive Discord server!
This server will be available to patrons who pledge $2 or above. We can talk about random topics, stuff I'm currently working on, or perhaps even join together for livestream reactions! I dunno, these are still early ideas, but I'm looking forward to hanging out with you all nonetheless.
The server isn't up yet since I'm still getting things ready. This is my first personal Discord server after all. :P I hope you all look forward to it!
So uh, yea, I hit a bit of a burnout with this one. The script is complete, but there has been quite a bit of editing and recording work thrown in there that it took quite a while to finish while I was simultaneously dealing with my college projects.
So, as per my recent Twitter update, I might be taking a break to see if I can focus on other smaller projects before returning to this one. In the meantime though, have another sneak peek, this time available to ALL patrons! You guys deserve it and I can't thank you all enough for continuing to support me. :)
So, a quick Patreon-exclusive update on what's coming up next as well as in the future!
Currently, the next video on my channel will most definitely be a live reaction to the announcements at the Nintendo Direct coming very soon. Afterwards, on March 10, to celebrate Mario Day, I'll be bringing back my Let's Play Some series and taking a look at Arcade Archives: VS. Super Mario Bros., the remixed version of Super Mario Bros.
As for what core videos are coming up next, the past two core videos (Pac-Man Tiny Arcade & Mario Odyssey Hint Art) have all been spontaneous ideas. The Super Mario 3D Land video I've been working on was originally meant to follow my Virtual Boy video, but college work has been quite a heavy load since I'm approaching the middle of my school term and have projects and quizzes to deal with. I won't rule out the possibility that another small-scale core video might be coming before this large one, though I don't want it to stay in purgatory for too long.
As for what's after that...well, to be honest, I haven't planned much. I am, however, definitely open to suggestions, especially from Patreon patrons! Here is a list of potential core video ideas sitting in a document I have somewhere. These aren't 100% guaranteed to be made, but it's nice to keep track of the ideas I think of. Let me know if there are any special things you want to see covered in a video!
• FC Pocket Bootleg Review
• Beat City Review
• A final look at Miitomo before its shutdown
• A retrospective on the SHIFT Flash game series
• Old Mario Flash Games Part 2
• Another Rhythm Heaven related video, possibly a retrospective
• A look at Pablo Belmonte's fake leaks (Super Mario Galaxy DS, Nintendo On etc.)
Surprise video! It's another one of those Pac-Man mini arcade cabinets. But it might be actually good this time...
At 10AM EST today, you guys can get early access to a new bonus video before my current core video project is complete. ;)
It's about a certain famous arcade game...
Of course I'M the type of guy to make a preview for a video about Super Mario 3D Land without actually including 3D Land. Anyway, here's some reminiscing about the 3DS' (not-so-good) early days.
I'm going to be taking a short trip through history and see at how the 3DS struggled during its early days, as well as a closer look at Super Mario 3D Land and how its design philosphies allowed it to help broaden the 3DS's user base and get it back on its feet.
It's a smaller scale subject for a video but I hope you look forward to it nonetheless! :)
Hey! Just a quick update to let you all know that from now on, the patron names I include in my video endslate will now use your *current Patreon name*. If you wish to use a different name, please let me know. Thanks :)
Here it is! My longest core video (so far), where we take a look at the Virtual Boy. I hope you enjoy it!
The core video will be available to the general public 24 hours after early access opens.
The video is nearly complete, and it's going to be fairly lengthy! I hope you continue looking forward to the early access. :)
Oh man this one's a beefy one.
Editing has just started, so hopefully I can finish this video by the end of January! This is just the introduction part. :o
Surprise! Consider this a bonus gift while I'm working on my next core video. I haven't even actually decided on when to release this to the public as well. :}
There will be early first look Patreon posts at my next core video coming soon as I work on it! It's just taking a while since the script for it is kinda large and still being written. I really hope I can get it out during January, so I hope you look forward to it! Until then, enjoy this cover.
When I first started a Patreon account, I set pledges to a per-video basis, as I wasn't sure whether or not I would be making videos frequently enough to justify monthly pledges. Now, as my core videos grow larger, I feel like I am confident in putting more time towards making videos, and I feel like pledging on a per-video basis would be the less desirable choice for supporting such a change. Thus, from 2018 onwards, I will be changing my Patreon so patrons pledge per month, and are not charged multiple times for multiple core videos within the same month. It's really great to see my core videos gain this much love, and I thank you for all your support so that I can expand the potential scope of my videos in the future! -AK

My next core video is now available! I take a look at the Wii U's hidden gem of an indie game and see how it came to fruition through hard work & effort. Just kidding, it's Meme Run.
My next core video will be going up early on December 17th, 10AM EST for Patreon patrons! The related Patreon post will be a paid post, and then will be unlocked for non-patrons to see on December 18th 10AM EST, the public release time of the video.
I hope you all look forward to it! :)
Hah! I didn't even realize Meme Run's anniversary is coming up on December 18. You can totally bet I'll release my core video about it on that day. Until then, here's a exclusive snippet of the beginning parts of the video!
No face reveal in this one though, sorry. Please wait a little bit longer for the early access. :P
I've been wanting to tackle completely out-of-left-field subjects for a while now, so that my videos have a good blend of information and humor. Which is why my next core video is going to be about the story of... ...Meme Run. https://youtu.be/eXAOwqsmcRM The unexpected 2014 Wii U eShop release that got the Internet stirring...for better or worse. Who made this? Why? How did it even happen? These are questions I'll be taking a look at in my next video. Oh, of course I'll be playing it too. Because I don't value my sanity at all. Script writing begins today, so I hope you look forward to it!
If you haven't heard, Patreon has announced that they would be beginning to charge patrons a service fee of 2.9% plus 35 cents per pledge, starting from December 18th. I do not agree with this change and would much rather have service fees paid by me than charging patrons for extra fees beyond their pledge.
This heavily affects patrons who are currently pledging to multiple creators, so it is understandable if you wish to modify whatever pledges you currently have due to this new payment model, and I thank you for your support if you wish to continue pledging. However I still consider this an unfair model and would definitely want to see these changes reverted back in the future.

My next core video is now available! As Kirby's 25th anniversary draws to a close, I check out the special artbook released for the event! Does it satisfy your inner Kirby fan? It's time to find out.
It is here! My review of the Kirby 25th anniversary artbook!
Thank you once again for supporting my content. This video is now available exclusively to Patreon patrons for 24 hours!
The video will be available to the public on November 22nd, 11:30 AM Eastern Time, and the Patreon post accompanying it will be a paid post.
Thank you once again!
My next core video will be a review on the Kirby Art & Style collection artbook! And I've uploaded an exclusive first look at the video for Patreon supporters!
Normally, behind-the-scenes access is exclusive to the $2 per video tier, but seeing as this is my first sneak peek post, this preview will be available to ALL Patreon patrons!
Thanks again for your support! :)
*Video content may be subject to change.
Here's my first Patreon-exclusive content: an early peek at a WarioWare D.I.Y. Cover of Beanbean Castle from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga in commemoration of its remake! The full version will be released on my channel on October 4.
For those who want to pledge but are not sure what the definition of 'per major video' is, here's the breakdown: Major videos are those that involve heavy editing, scripting, research and/or more focused effort compared to my other videos. As of this post, there are four major videos on my channel. https://youtu.be/4yz24JQpSHY https://youtu.be/Zz1v7ZalNWw https://youtu.be/qZICYjEzQ3g https://youtu.be/rq2mDJidwmw Only when I upload these kinds of videos will patrons be charged. Hope that helps clear things up a bit! :)
Just got my first Patreon patron! Thanks so much for the support! :) Reminder that in the future, the kinds of exclusive content you can get for being a patron may increase in the future as I continue to refine the details.
